Good scenario but with problems with Drop off aa7784045514 TO aa77817455903 at Gatwick Airport P1. But when look at task list the numbers do not match the numbers that are on the hud to uncouple the 4 coaches at Gatwick Airport P1 so have Failed task and get x. Thank you.
clivebrown76 26 Sep, 2019 @ 11:18am
Failed the task as uncoupled at Gatwick but got a X, then got stuck at Purley with a red light and a train in front at a green light not moving, shame as was enjoying this.
BeenTrain 7 Mar, 2018 @ 1:51pm
Great run!
ALEX.J_DE 18 Mar, 2016 @ 11:44am
very great run, 2 problem: AI collision and timetable to beat. Thanks you
Ankkasalaatti 9 Feb, 2015 @ 6:28am
Why after uncoupling the last unit at the Gatwick Airport the task fails? As far as I know the scenario won't be completed if there's any faults in the task list.
hbarnes 19 May, 2014 @ 4:39pm
Great Scenario!!! Much Thanks! Really enjoyed, a return trip, would be sweet!!! :)
The Zoo 6 Feb, 2014 @ 2:31pm
i still have come across the AI collision after 2 stops croydon though but it still is a good ride
Robin  [author] 28 Aug, 2013 @ 1:17pm
Well that's nice of you!
Crepello 29 Jul, 2013 @ 3:32pm
Thanks Robin for releasing this excellent work - I can well imagine it took a long time to create, but it is a credit to your imagination and effort. Anybody completing this without any crosses deserves much more than a cup of coffee. Well done, and thanks again.

Cheers,

John

B-7, that's what it's all about, héhé.
B-7 1 Jul, 2013 @ 11:55am
Robin, absolutely beautiful scenario. Kept me thrilling.
P.S. Out for a cup of coffee ;)
The Zoo 31 May, 2013 @ 3:26pm
oh right ok yes i've seen the commet...thankx
Robin  [author] 31 May, 2013 @ 12:59pm
The zoo, please read the comment about the collisions if you have any. This did not happen on any test-computer, so is likely software dependent. try my suggestions.
The Zoo 31 May, 2013 @ 9:10am
yer it was good inpart from the AI collision though
Robin  [author] 31 May, 2013 @ 7:21am
Benhjsmith, seriously, see 3 comments below.
benhjsmith 28 May, 2013 @ 7:19am
what are 93 al trains?
Robin  [author] 27 May, 2013 @ 4:54pm
no problem duncan, thanks for the comment. As always i'm open for new ideas on upcoming scenario's..
duncan.edwards 27 May, 2013 @ 9:12am
a good drive kept me busy, as all brighton line trips keep the real drivers busy...
thanks for the trip
Robin  [author] 26 Mar, 2013 @ 1:28pm
Explanation: AI trains are trains who were 'programmed' to do tasks. Ai collision, are 2 programmed trains wich are independent of you, wich collide.
Beside, it should indeed not do that, but the scenario works on about 1870 people's pc's (99,8%), so i would verify your game files, delete the blueprint cache, and don't save&resume. also don't use TAB, by the way. Following these steps will let you have a clean ride without rubbish cache files of saves affecting other/your own train(s).
z.motashaw 25 Mar, 2013 @ 2:38pm
I was also finished by an AI collision when I didn't even move
z.motashaw 21 Mar, 2013 @ 1:49pm
I lkied the derailed class 450
Rawr xD 13 Feb, 2013 @ 5:00pm
great work well done
bosambo 10 Feb, 2013 @ 1:18am
ok
anakind 3 Feb, 2013 @ 9:57am
Nice scenario but finished by AI collision at East Croydon. I was on time.
CaseyJones24 21 Jan, 2013 @ 3:44am
Timings were a bit tight and I missed a couple by 5 seconds..... Really enjoyed the drive though. I also found I'd got at X at Gatwick even though I too had detached the last for coaches.
Icity125 19 Jan, 2013 @ 9:11am
Very good scenario, but I also got a X at Gatwick Airport even though I did drop the last 4 units but still enjoyed the drive well done
JLD95 19 Jan, 2013 @ 12:58am
Very nice scenario, thank you.
Just two little bugs:
1/ task "Drop of aa778 ... at Gatwick Airport P1" is incomplete: I have detached the last four units: I don't know why task is wrong ?
2/ Displayed destination on 455 unit is "Not in Service"
david.angus1977 17 Jan, 2013 @ 4:37pm
A superb scenario --- very well done. Enjoyed driving as far as I got. Sadly, I too had an AI collision with service 62. In my case it was at Selhurst, so I couldn't finish, and that is a BIG disappointment, because I always like driving the last section into London Victoria. Thanks anyway for all your hard work. I wonder whether saving the game as you go along is a good idea when there are so many AI trains. Driving without saving might be safer!
nitedriver 31 Dec, 2012 @ 9:14pm
Excellent scenario. Very nicely done. Worked like a charm.
oleeskildandersen 28 Dec, 2012 @ 2:38pm
A good scenario , but i have a A1 collission with service 62 at East Croydon. So it spoiled my game
Robin  [author] 19 Dec, 2012 @ 4:08pm
@SPADTrap, thank you for these kind words! My next scenario is being made, will take a while. It will be similar to this one, but in the other direction, and with a 375. The next one might be a 455 tho. If you got a storyline for me, send it my way, all inspiration is helpful.
Sam 19 Dec, 2012 @ 3:34pm
Just had to thank you, a very enjoyable scenerio with great traction. I saw the effort from the second I started driving it! Please keep them coming with the 455, really well done!!
Robin  [author] 14 Dec, 2012 @ 4:54pm
Oh, i didn't know these were the packs.. i was looking for "european asset pack". thanks anyway, gonna use it on my next scenario. My new one will be uploaded in a moment :)
MaTT 14 Dec, 2012 @ 4:06pm
No problems Robin, Its under "Kuju" ... you should see Railsimulator and RailsimulatorUS ... check the first one ... Be careful with Kuju if you have any freeware as much of it resides in this tab to, if you accidently use any of it you wont be able to upload, its annoying to have to go looking for one rogue wagon that you accidently placed. most freeware has "FW" before the name so you should be fine.
Robin  [author] 14 Dec, 2012 @ 12:27pm
Matt, I'm sorry to bother, but where can i "add' the euro assets pack? In editor, i'm looking and looking in the assets I can add, but can't seem to find it. i thought it would be under "RSC"?
MaTT 14 Dec, 2012 @ 10:19am
The euro assets pack (which most people have) has some 37s and 47s in it, the liveries are old though the 47 has some later colours, not really modern but EWS and DB Shenker are really bad a repainting especially if its old stock so its ok to use them. there are also some hoppers in the pack, if you are doing a modern scenario the HTA wagons would be the most likely to use, or you could use some tankers, they are just in different colours with no logos so could have any liquid you want in them, I have used some HAA hoppers before but coal has not been on L2B for thirty years, You can always make up a back story and use pretty much anything though. all that said if you have the class 33 pack it seems really popular at the moment and it comes with some nice ballast wagons, you would do well with that.
Robin  [author] 14 Dec, 2012 @ 9:55am
@Matt, Wich class do i use and wich rolling stock for a freighttrain? I want to use a default set to make sure nobody runs into an error telling that they don't have these assets.. Do you know this?
Robin  [author] 13 Dec, 2012 @ 4:49pm
Thank you stevec835, when my subscribers are happy, then i'm happy :D
Matt, thank you for the info, i will keep it in mind :)
MaTT 13 Dec, 2012 @ 7:01am
erm yep ... mostly aggregates on most of the route especially around Ardingly and Three bridges and there is a small depot at Purley, there is also traffic (aggrigates again but maybe some tanks or containers) between Redhill (Tonbridge Portal) and the Kensington Olympia portal. plus as with any route you can have works and Ballast trains especially if you set the scenario at the weekend, Im not sure about mail,
stevec835 13 Dec, 2012 @ 6:24am
Excellent! One of the best scenarios I've seen in a while. Plenty of AI traffic and mixed signaling to keep you on your toes. Great job!
Robin  [author] 13 Dec, 2012 @ 6:14am
I'm not familiar with these routes or lines or anything but if I get this right, there is some diesel hauled freight in the larger stations, simply said? :)
MaTT 13 Dec, 2012 @ 5:45am
Yep verifying game files didnt work so I reinstalled the whole thing from scratch including all my third party DLC.

Re Freight on L2B this is from a network rail document: "There is modest freight demand on the core Sussex route (mainly to aggregates terminals) but the West London Line (WLL) has a high number of cross London freight services, primarily aggregates to and from southeast terminals and international trains running between the West Coast/Great Western main lines and the Channel Tunnel. At the south end of the WLL services to the Channel Tunnel are normally routed via Catford and Maidstone East (on Route 1) but the line via Redhill is the only alternative to this for W9 gauge freight traffic, though it requires diesel haulage."
Robin  [author] 13 Dec, 2012 @ 5:15am
class455, I'm not sure, but you could try resubscribing after you delete it, it works for most of the people having problems. And Matt, I'm glad it worked! Do you mean you reinstalled railworks?
At last, Stef42, I'm not from this area but are there actual freight trains on this track? I know it's fictional but it should be looking "normal", maybe somebody else could help on telling me how this track deals with freight?
Beside, I'm currently making another scenario where you will drive an extra stopping service from east croydon to London victoria and back, should be ready today/tomorrow.
Stef42 13 Dec, 2012 @ 4:50am
You could make a level with freight, as all scenario's you have made were fictional.
MaTT 13 Dec, 2012 @ 4:48am
Completed! ... fixed the car detachment bug by reinstalling the game client ... awesome work!, 93 trains, just how it should be ... ready for the next one
moris8216 13 Dec, 2012 @ 3:05am
Great scenario! Wonderful AI traffic just like real! You should make even the way back scenario with the Class 455! Thanks
BritishKid317 12 Dec, 2012 @ 8:22pm
when i detach the last 4 cars at Gatwik that well known error comes up and TS2013 crashes. so shall i just go on with an 8 car train or what
Robin  [author] 12 Dec, 2012 @ 4:16pm
Good news, I started another scenario on london-brighton. It might be the last one on this route anyway, because -as all my scenario's are fictional- i"m getting out of inspiration. you may also leave a suggestion anyway so i can make it that way!.
Robin.
Robin  [author] 12 Dec, 2012 @ 1:15pm
lloyd.ken, thank you for the details on this error, i will check their situations out, so that i can organise the AI in an other way so that it won't happen again, but also, try deleting this and resubscibe like Idembleby, it might help!
Robin  [author] 12 Dec, 2012 @ 1:14pm
about the uncoupling, I also had that myself. i tried removing it and adding again and etc, but i also don't get a tick for this, but thats just a small problem. And Idembleby, thank you for that, it may indeed be a good thing to do when people have a problem, deleting and re-subscribing it. Thanks for the info and i'm glad it worked well now!
