Oh my god I've been looking for this mod since 1.1 came out- I purged my workshop when it did and I've had such nostalgia for this.

Can't believe I finally found it, best race mod 100%

The bug where they weigh 1 kg is due to their pawn type inheriting from "BaseFerretPawn" instead of "BasePawn".
This can be fixed by adding this to BaseFerretPawn in Race_Ferret.xml:
"<statBases>
<Mass>60</Mass>
</statBases>"

(Default is actually 70, but I figure go with 60 because they're skinny lads :) )

I will note that 200% mining speed is a little crazy with other bonuses. I had a fert that had 13 mining and mechanite sickness (boosts speed) and he kind of deleted mountains XD Is there any downside to this race compared to humans? I haven't noticed one.

I have been looking at that, looking at the code it targets the pawn kind directly so in theroy you could creat a copy of the dif under a deffernt name and just change out the pawnkind hooks ill drop more info if it works

One of my favorite added races, but they have the same problem as the Argonians: no mass set in the race files, so they weight only 1.0 kg.

Hello there, just a quick note about mod. I use EdB Prepare Carefully and it doesn't show race (and since I use many races and some are similar, I would like to differentiate them easier). In dwarves mod (the lotr one) they made it so they are labeled `colonist (dwarf)`. The only change needs to be in `PawnKindDef`, `label` as `colonist (ferrex)`. Please consider ;)

Great mod, but Ferrex faction names can get a bit long - "Libertarian Trade-Conglomerate of West Edni Business-Cooperative Business-Group" stretches about a sixth of the way across my screen and is a bit redundant.

I mean the backstory bonuses, yes. lots of 15+ stats, even for more than one stat. Are these ferret folk a bit more average, or do they have the same kind of backstories?

Which stats do you mean? Starting skills?

If the Racc are always OP, I may need to adjust their backstory bonuses - they are all based off older builds, so the bonuses for different backstories in vanilla may easily have been reduced over time.

If you mean their racial bonuses for certain jobs - I may need to adjust those too, as a lot of the underlying math seems to have been changing in recent builds

You can use as many races as you want - shouldn't cause any problems as long as they're made properly.

You can pick the different scenarios for the races, or you can make your own custom scenario and pick which faction/race you want.

Question if I have mutilple races installed will it break the game? I have the Asari of The Rims, The Twilek Race, The Fox race which I can't remember the original name, and The Ferrex.

Known for their business acumen...And their almost triple normal movement speed. Trying to play with this AND hospitality is ridiculous, I ended up giving up on entertaining them. No one could keep up. Them and the Racc. 12 c/s is a little fast for my blood.
