I like playing with my freind to Industrial, him being the USA and me playing as the Confederates. Or it's the otherway around, either way this is pretty cool.

actually the union didn't want the civil war, they believed the south was still part of the union. it all changed when the confederacy attempted to wrest maryland from the union.

the way you play civ mods in multiplayer is that you have to make the game think its a dlc and so you have to have a dlc to do it. look up how to do it my friends tried it and they said it was really confusing and that they couldnt figure it out

How do you use this to play Multiplayer? In game it says Multiplayer: Yes, but when enabled, the only option is Single Player...

NM i think i got it to work now, i wasnt going back thru the "mods" load, i was starting directly from the main menue, thats why it was crashing.

how do i test, i have the Stalin (Russia) mod, and it works fine, the only 2 i cant get to work are this and hitler's germany that replaces bismark. is this for BNW or G&K?

When I play against this civ & go to diplomacy screen for them, all I get is a grey screen. Otherwise it plays great. Am I doing something wrong?

Sorry, as I mentioned, I won't change the mod anymore. There are many ways to make a Civ unique, and you gotta choose one ;)

Suggestions:

UA: Articles of Confederation - +2 Happiness, +10% Defense for each city. Bonus food and production from inter-empire trade routes.

UU: Enslaved Human Being: faster build time, more movement, reduced gold cost, cannot be deleted.
-----------After Entering Renaissance Era: when captured by an enemy Civ, permanent +1 happiness for that civ and Worker becomes most common melee combat unit they posses (Musketman, Infantry, Marine, etc. . .) with special promotion (Dunmore's Proclamation: Bonus when attacking Confederate Cities).

UB: Dixie Plantation: +2 Food, +2 Production (improves as farm and mine with techs) - built next to plantation, same no adjacent restriction as chateau. Bonus gold when pillaged.

Strong benefits from exploiting human beings, esp early in the game, but also makes them huge targets for other civs later in the game.

They should add in a fix whenever you buy a new worker at a foreign city all your current workers yell, "THEY TOOK MAH JOB!"

It's normal that it's just gray because I can't do any animation. The buttons however should show up, so the diplomacy interaction should be possible.

Okay, if you're all done arguing about history, I'd like to know if the diplomacy screen not showing up is a common problem. Is this related to Brave New World, or has something gone wrong?

You're absolutely right, I actually wanted to give them only a boost for Great Generals, however, there is no pre-coded modifier for that in the XML data, so I would have to do that in Lua, and at the moment I don't have the time to start that. I might do it someday!
