somehow the normal vanilla mission r pretty rare. count upgrade the skirmish faction bc no mission r coming for them

It seems this mod bugged my game, I got three soldier to infil chosen stronghold but they were ambushed but when I save them there were only two soldiers, one soldier is missing.

Every time I start one of those missions it just start with the camera beneath the ground glitching and everything stand still, the only thing I can do is complete the mission trough console commands, It's the second playtrough with that mod (differents mods, this time removed everything related LW) and every time it does that, it is safe to unistall mid game?

hi i need help: cant do most missions because i have the hero faction soldier proficiency plugins installed and these heroes dont count as templars/skirmishers/reapers.... can i fix this somehow?

The way I read the .ini files it's got to be one of the vanilla game plots with the "Compound" objective ("Plot_WLD_Compound_ATT_Ravine" is one)

They're added to the pool the game draws from, in my campaign (I'm pretty late on) they're popping pretty frequently. Earlier on there're more things in the pool so they weren't as frequent.

As you added mid-campaign try refreshing your user Config files.

Definitely working. I was going to use "Mission Mania" but then decided this one was a better choice since I could control when extra missions start.

Managed to get it working midgame, though I had to wait for the next supply drop for the new missions to show up, which makes sense. Only getting a few and not the "it's all missions" thing some people reported earlier so that's good. Going to try to stagger them out in-between the ones the game gives me and see what happens. First up: A supply raid since I can always use more supplies.

I would like to add more Guerilla Ops into the MissionDecks but that doesn't work because they are tied to Dark Events. But your mod seems to have no problem creating a Guerilla Op. What is the (MissionSource="Name") for your Guerilla Ops missions? I want to try dropping that in the MissionDecks and see if it works.

Well, that's a story operation. But if Mox's spawns, then I'm sure the others spawn just fine. It's just been three in-game months, now, and I still haven't gotten the chance to rescue my operative.

In my last WotC campaign I ran this from the beginning. The only captured trooper I had was Mox, during Lost & Abandoned, and the rescue operation for him spawned fine.

Does this mod have any possible conflicts with the Rescue Captured Soldier operations, by chance? I'm asking because two in-game months have passed since I installed this mod and I haven't gotten an option for finding where a soldier of mine that was captured those two months ago is being held. In the past, there's usually one available the very next month or so when one of my soldiers is captured.

It's obviously for WOTC. Vanilla doesn't have this feature.

and here's one question, is it possible to make more than one GuerillaOps comes up?
some times i just feel so tired about those unlimited engineers and
scientists, it would be nice if can have at least one more selection to ignor them. or if it's possible to disable ANY engineer and scientists as rewards (both from mod OPs and default missions, in other words, only get them from covert actions) would be even better, i tried to modify defaultmissionsource file but nothing happened, please help, thanks very much!!

When I check out the Resistance Ops on the Resistance Ring, the description and the photo is empty. Is this a result of a mod conflict or an actual bug within the mod? May I know what class overrides the mod uses so I can cross check via AML? Thanks a lot!

I just completed a WOTC campaign with 104 mods including this one. I used the supply raids and guerilla ops from covert missions in this campaign, all went well. [RPGO was being used in this campaign too, seems fine - for the last poster.]

That recommends the excellent Community Mod Launcher [github.com], which everyone who uses mods should be using.
This guide gives some more detailed advice on using the Community Mod Launcher: Troubleshooting: Mods not working properly / at all
If you've just switched from the Firaxis Launcher, or are forced to use it, read the "Mods not activating/deactivating properly in WOTC" section of Mod not working? Mods still have their effects after you disable them?
If you're using the Community Highlander then read its specific troubleshooting advice [github.com].

I just started a new campaign and none of my covert actions have any risks associated with them. This is the only mod that I know that touches covert actions. Any idea why this is happening?

I am playing this mod with LW2WOTC beta and all facilities are hidden. Can you add a 'locate advent research lab' mission type. In LW2 you need to find a 'facility lead' item on a mission. They are very rare.

It just seems odd that you can send out a team to locate a Chosen base, but not a generic lab facility.

In combination with Multiple Covert Actions, this is genuinely the best mod I've found for the game. The increased tempo of the game goes that extra bit to finally solve the A-Team problem that WOTC only mitigated for me, as well as really making me feel like a commander, making strategic choices rather than just reacting.

Hoping for new Rescue Resistance Veteran Covert Action: A veteran of the resistance was captured by advent and XCOM learned of this though a certain lead. The squad is to prepare an OP to mount a rescue attempt from an ADVENT prison. This is similar to other rescue missions, though the veteran is randomly generated in class, rank and person. (Reapers, Skirmishers, and Templars included)

It's possible to make all covert ops require 4 soldiers and high chance of Ambush? Ambush missions with 4 soldiers are a nice break in the pace of the game (better with increased pods size) and the 4 soldier/covert makes a good balance on the rewards.

Not sure, but it probably conflicts with Multiple Covert Actions mod, since after installing it i can't have more than covert action anymore.
Any chance you can add compatibility please?

There's already a facility lead covert op. But they're limited in their occurrence. I'd recommend this mod: Sabotage Covert Action Rebalance

Too many mission ops at once. A resistance faction could get two (or even three?) mission ops, and then every faction would have at least one mission op, all at the same time. These mission ops replace regular covert ops and take up limited covert action slots for each faction. They are too numerous and effectively crowding out other types of covert ops.

BTW: this mod is safe to install - and remove - during mid-campaign.

I have frequently uninstalled (just before a supply drop) and then reinstalled (right after the supply drop) this mod; so that when covert actions refreshed when supply dropped, these mission ops would not take up all the covert action slots and replace too many other covert ops. Afterward, then these mission ops could fill in the slots after I had completed all other covert ops, which was made possible with another mod that let me run multiple covert ops at the same time, (i.e., "More Resistance Ops".)

Does this mod replace the Guerilla Ops, Supply Raids, and Resistance Ops that are generated by the game? So that you choose when to do every one?

Just want to say that I actually really like this mod a lot. I love the idea of using covert actions to start guerilla ops, in particular. It means you can actually play /offense/ instead of just sitting on your thumbs waiting for a chance to pick the one bad thing you don't want to happen, and do the mission.

Resistance ops I don't really see the benefit of but then again I'm lategame right now, and they do seem like great opportunities to grab some extra experienced dudes for your roster.

Great mod! I'll reccomend it!
