It seems the mod may need to be updated, offically getting pop up issues through the game non stop because of the "Learning" Mod(only one i have called that) I hope it can be, this has be a great Mod :)

Hey crispexi, I added to the description basically it's:

purple > blue > cyan > green > yellow > red

Please also keep in mind that the color is NOT the only important info. The border of the circle can be as informative especially for colorblind people (that's why I introduced it).

solid > dashed > dotted > none

So basically look for purple, blue or at least cyan bubbles with solid or at least dashed borders.

How do I know whats better? Cyan or green? Can there be a informational text on what colors are better? I'm also slightly color blind so telling blue vs magenta/purple is super hard but thats not the point :D

I have the blackscreen as well. i use "more tech stuff" and "build pipline" mod in addition to your mod

Going by Jessicas description sounds like a classical nullpointer. I'll look further into it. As said, main problem is, that I seem to be unable to reproduce it myself.

Q: to others with this error running my mod only? Or which mods are you running as well?

It's possible that I'm facing some kind of racing condition that doesn't creep up when other mods set those values before.

Addition: Got same error on my existing Day 292 game after unsubscribing/uninstalling the mod. Restarting the game doesn't help. Going to try and verify game cache and/or reinstall if necessary

Hi Bastian, I got the black screen.
I started a new game with the mod, this is the only mod that I have installed currently.
I was going from Day 3 to Day 4 and when I clicked Jump to Next day the screen went black but the actual UI was there ( I'll post a screenshot ) and the day didn't skip. I thought it would maybe return to normal when the day started so I just left time running through the night with a black screen the whole time. 8am came and I can hear the keyboards going but still a black screen.
I only have 3 developers and I was running recruitment for a sales exec,I hope that some of this info can help.

I'm at it. But I can't reproduce that black screen. The version from 12/12/17 works just fine for me.

This mod causes crashes. This is caused by this error:

PS: concerning colors: I'm using a fairly straightforward hsl colorcode, using

red - - yellow - green - cyan - blue - purple

OK all, sorry for falling silent for so long. New job, changing my job requirements from "java backend rookie" to "full stack dev". Which understandably was a higher priority for me than supporting this mod.

Of course I implemented jhovgaards suggestion, and the mod works fine again for me.

If you have suggestions or wishes for features fitting this mod, feel free to mention them.

Hi Bastian! You can fix the mod by changing line 40 of start.js to:
let $rootScope = Game.Lifecycle.$rootScope;

Apparently "this" has changed with Beta 13.

I would like a list with their learning speed, u wrote red is slow and purple is fast, but what between? What's about teal or yellow? Would be awesome if u write it in the description.

Had exactly same problem as KingOfDog. Now the game won't work at all. Any new games wont employ anyone and keep running day after day. the old game got to end of day and the jump to next day just put black screen overlay and froze. Tried uninstalling mod and then game on steam but it is now broken. Great idea for learning but my system clearly can't work this mod.

My main problem with the bugs you guys describe is: I can not reproduce them at all. I get no errors, recruitment works just fine, as does skip to next day.

Could you try to run the game in dev mode, and tell me what kind of errors it is throwing?

I think the idea of this mod is awesome! However, it isn't possible anymore to skip to the next day with the mod enabled. I tested it several times, when I disable it everything works fine but the mod causes a black screen when clicking on the skip to next day-button.

more tech stuff, venture capital, real brand and contract sidebar, so I don't think so. I tried 1,3,7 days and all levels but never start, stay at 0%

?? Actually it should speed up the recruitment be 150%. What exactly are you having a problem with? Are you using another mod that influences recruitment?

OK, recruitement was speed up by a factor of 2.5, and I found a new way to visualize the learning attribute. Feedback very welcome.

Thx. What I'm thinking about at the moment is:
a) replacing the color code with another way to visualize the learning attribute (no number though)
b) increasing the number of candidates per recruitment by a factor of 2-3.

I've not made a final decision on how to achieve a (I intend to keep it as discreet as possible), and still working out the syntax of b. Input on the mod users thoughts on it are really appreciated.
