Just finished a campaign with about 685 mods, this one included, and had no major issues! Thanks for putting this up.
thedoomman 23. aug. 2020 kl. 6:39
how far can you throw this game?
RustyDios 14. juli 2020 kl. 6:55
For -anyone- else experiencing the crash with loading the Vehicle Dealership maps, you may like to take note of this discussion thread AND FIX from the missing packages mod;

Hmm.. didn't notice I was missing this (been using only the TLP version for a while)
New campaign has this map-pack installed, first city slums map I have and I've got floating sensor towers too ... !!
Dragon32 19. maj 2020 kl. 16:58
@neIVIesis
Nope. I just live with them.
neIVIesis 19. maj 2020 kl. 16:57
@Dragon32 Did you find a workaround or config to fix floating towers?
Crazy_Nurse69 24. feb. 2020 kl. 22:18
floating sentry towers everywhere. pls fix it
Dragon32 2. feb. 2020 kl. 7:26
@NiKuTa:
Yes

Can I use Doctor Mandarbs Map-Pack (WotC) and Doctor Mandarbs Map-Pack (TLE) together?
Blabba754 29. dec. 2019 kl. 0:34
Mhmm looking at the file sizes of your packs and https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1140305914 , wouldn't it make sense to work together on the assets part and just depend on that mod later on?
neIVIesis 22. dec. 2019 kl. 14:55
I don't know if it's a conflict, but only when this mod is enable I get floating ADVENT sentry towers. No matter what combination of mods I try.
StringCheese888 24. aug. 2019 kl. 0:51
I tried reading this description and i dont understand most of the linge lmao
Dragon32 11. juni 2019 kl. 8:26
@Alexandr:
Just a thought, but you've not got the non-WotC version subscribed too? IIRC the only times I've seen that's been when loading non-WotC mods in WotC. Like cosmetics. But I haven't seen it that often.
Oh. Maybe the Missing Packages mods are helping me out here...
Alexandr 11. juni 2019 kl. 2:06
Precisely. And I dunno why it'd appear ONLY if this mod is active, unless that asset is being SUCCESSFULLY loaded elsewhere and is being overwritten with a bad version from this. :I It's weird, but if nobody else has it, that's on me and my load order/modlist.
Dragon32 10. juni 2019 kl. 14:26
@Alexandr:
Not seen that myself, AFAIK that chequerboard pattern is indicative of a missing texture.
Alexandr 10. juni 2019 kl. 13:23
花兔: Why the hell do you do nothing but post absolute garbage like that every single mod page? A question that's been answered a dozen times already in the comments AND IN THAT MOD'S DESCRIPTION.
Alexandr 10. juni 2019 kl. 13:22
Odd query, but... is there any reason for this mod to be causing something as weird as the checkerboard graphic on map pieces? I was seeing them a lot, and one map I finally got frustrated and disabled all the map mods I had (all 5! I keep things light this time around) and found that I could still load the map I was on, meaning it wasn't requiring any of the map mods to function. Enabled each of the others and tested and only when this one flipped on did a particular campfire and busted-up RV switch to being covered in checkerboard placeholder graphics. Only thing I can think of that might be the cause is having this mod's built-in asset files being 'bad' or whatever you'd wanna call it. I'm just curious if anyone else has seen this issue crop up while using this pack before. Love the City Center PCP bits, even if you don't see city center maps in WotC as much anymore, so I hate to lose the pack!

Haha, thank you doc! :)
VoidLight 2. nov. 2018 kl. 10:17
So far both map pack seem to work fine with each other, Thanks for the help!
Doctor Mandarb  [ophavsmand] 2. nov. 2018 kl. 7:29
To all, who are interested to learn... or know:

As long as modders name their own creations in a unique way, and do not overwrite existing files, there shouldn't be any problems. Maps, when being created load up a Plot. Within a plot are placeholders to PCPs and Parcels. If a modder adds more PCPs (correctly) to a tileset the game will try to load up a random PCP from the list.

All of us, who add more PCP and Parcels, add to the Games ability to expant those RNG lists. Because we add more variants. Therefore, a mission map feels fresher. After all, the game most often comes with only 2 (sometimes 4) variants for each PCP.

For a good presentation on how all that works, have a read in this pdf file (page 17 contains the PCP part):

@Col. Jack O'Neil

I've downloaded every mod you've listed. Same as with the mod that "Void Light" posted:
I've only checked how items are named and structured. I don't see any conflict between them, or to any of my mods.

From my point of view, you are fine to use those mods together with my mod(s).
Good hunting Col., and please ensure those Aliens don't use your Stargate to get from A to B :D
Doctor Mandarb  [ophavsmand] 2. nov. 2018 kl. 7:01
@Void Light

I've check out "McDenny's 09" Even More Maps! mod. Checking on how he named map items (Parcels, PCP, Plots...), and how he build his own maps.

I do not see any conflict between his and my mod(s). From my point of view, you are fine to use his and my mod together. Good hunting Commander, and show those Aliens who's Boss on this Planet :)

Now I'll look at those mods Col. Jack O'Neil posted.
VoidLight 1. nov. 2018 kl. 18:56
I want to use https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1139192059&searchtext=map along but currently I am only using your map pack because I do not know if they will be compatible.
Doctor Mandarb  [ophavsmand] 1. nov. 2018 kl. 10:43
@Void Light it's hard to answer that question.

I say you can, because I name all map parts I do in my own way.
If you run into Bugs & Problems with maps, it's much harder to point a finger at the faulty map mod.

If you are in still in doubt, feel free to post what other map mods you are running. I'll have a look at them, and check out how they are structured and organized.
VoidLight 31. okt. 2018 kl. 21:12
Is it ok to use multiple map packs?
Doctor Mandarb  [ophavsmand] 23. okt. 2018 kl. 10:21
No you should not @Brakkey Gurdy I

-> not yet anyways, because I keep TLP Map pack for just TLP map parts.
TLP missions also draw heavly on regular map parts from WotC.
Therefore if you unsubscribe now you are missing out on those Center Center and Slums PCPs.

For the future of an "only" WotC Map Pack I'll have to check if I can keep it 100% clean of TLP influences and objects. If that proofs impossible, or to hard to accomplish. Then you can ask again :D
Brakkey Gurdy I 21. okt. 2018 kl. 8:23
Should I unsubscribe to this one after adding the TLP one?
Doctor Mandarb  [ophavsmand] 14. okt. 2018 kl. 11:15
For those looking for the new TLE (TLP) map pack mod....

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1536253889

be carefull. As always it's experimental, I tested it on my PC, but you may find error's that excape my eye :)
Dragon32 9. okt. 2018 kl. 15:47
@Doctor Mandarb:
Well I don't see any patch notes but a lot's changed in my XCOM 2 directory, so I assume some things have been patched as well. Hopefully.
Doctor Mandarb  [ophavsmand] 9. okt. 2018 kl. 12:15
hey @Dragon32 glad to see you are still around. Sorry to you, and all others that I kinda let down in not working on more PCPs for this mod here. But I got sick of XCOM 2's broken state and bugs, that made modding and playing sour to my taste. Especially because I found those bugs in an 100% unmodded XCOM 2 - WotC game that I ran on my 2nd PC. People like to point fingers at modders when stuff goes wrong.

But with all the new toy's (fishing boats and more) I can't be mad at XCOM 2 any longer. I just hope they also used a big can of bugspray before shipping the new DLC :D
Dragon32 9. okt. 2018 kl. 12:06
\o/

Great news, Doctor Mandarb. Haunt away.
Doctor Mandarb  [ophavsmand] 9. okt. 2018 kl. 11:54
Short update, the new TLE content is easy to mod. I looked over the map pieces... and new content. It's great stuff! I fear now I will come back to XCOM and haunt your dreams... or nightmares :D

My plan is as follows: create an TLE map pack, as it has a limited amount of PCPs that can expended easy. Once that is done, I'll come back to work on this WotC map Pack.

I think keeping them seperate is a smart idea. Because we don't know if everybody that gets WotC next year, will also want to buy the TLE DLC.

Much work to do, hope you can enjoy the new DLC for a few days without getting sick of always seeing the same tiles.... really a shame that DLC dropped 1 week after my vacation finished :(
Doctor Mandarb  [ophavsmand] 5. okt. 2018 kl. 5:03
@Fonzosh thanks for asking. I'm looking forward to the new Tactical Legacy Pack. We should wait for it to come out and then see how the structure of those files is.
Certain DLC's are harder to work on / with then others. I'll be able to say more next week.
Fonzosh 4. okt. 2018 kl. 5:24
Will this be uppdated with the release of the Tactical legacy pack?
LEON 11. aug. 2018 kl. 7:39
Do these maps work in multiplayer?
Dragon32 22. mar. 2018 kl. 14:45
@Doctor Mandarb:
That's cool. Damn work keeps us all away from the fun stuff.
Doctor Mandarb  [ophavsmand] 22. mar. 2018 kl. 12:13
@Dragon32 I know what you mean, there could always be more variety.
I might find some time in May. This February and March brought me many extra workhours.
Hopefully that work will not bring to many "new" bugs :D
Dragon32 19. mar. 2018 kl. 14:55
Hey Doctor Mandarb, just wondering if you still intend to convert a few more of your PCPs over to WotC? Or whether the pain of its SDK is too much? I'd really appreciate a bit more variety in Wilderness maps, but it's entirely your call.
Doctor Mandarb  [ophavsmand] 17. mar. 2018 kl. 0:13
Hey @Wendersnaven thanks for pointing it out. Sadly I've never went out of the City Center and Slums Area with my modded PCP's. I guess that might be a conflict with something else.
Wendersnaven 16. mar. 2018 kl. 20:35
Hey Doc, found an interesting one. [Black Site Map- colomn format starting with plateu/tower/landing site. Then blacksite building and low-land wilderness/evac.] If I move a character carrying a Purifyer body (wotc extract corpses mod) they will 'teleport' to the unplayable reaches of the map. Their turn won't end. Obviously a conflict with multiple mods as well as the new content involved; other corpses were fine. You asked us to report stuff. Hope it's useful, and thanks for the good work.
Doctor Mandarb  [ophavsmand] 19. jan. 2018 kl. 11:52
@Dragon32 thanks for the answer to @pauloel7
And since I don't know this map, and haven't played with water, I'm 99,9% sure it's not one of mine :)
Dragon32 15. jan. 2018 kl. 10:24
@pauloel7:
Adding the water? Looks like that'd be a Plot rather than a PCP. Probably one of eclipsezr's.

Console command X2DebugMap, then click "show map" and it should give the name (which starts with Plot_).
pauloel7 3. jan. 2018 kl. 13:01
Alright, the impenetrable PCP has not yet showed up on a missopn for me, but one common another map bug has: missing drainage pipe up roofs, which prevents acces to rooftops. I ran the debug (command console) and this is what I can read on the very tile: Plot_CTY_Vehicle_Park.XComLevelActor_2 ARC_CityCRoofB_12x12.
pauloel7 31. dec. 2017 kl. 19:05
Indeed, not a story mission bug. I saw Dragon post there and will come back wit hthe PCP when it happens again. Thanks!
Arkhangel 31. dec. 2017 kl. 16:58
it's not a WoTC based bug. given it ran just fine without the mod installed. i'll retest, just to be sure though
Dragon32 31. dec. 2017 kl. 13:10
@pauloel7:
I also replied to your post on Vozati's map pack about this.
