yes you had an early access.^^ But I have to test it.
If you install the Alpha mod, the soc tech shouldn't ran out.

Really? It seems I've got an unintended preview. It worked fine for like 40 years or so but then Soceity research options ran out. Keep up the good work tho'. This mod is going to be a must have for me.

Further testing, I disabled all the mods except for this one.. I still start with maxed out FTL, and about 5 other glitched FTL drives. This is a specific glitch from this mod itself.

Further testing, Appearances or Ship appearances change nothing, Perhaps it is caused by incompatibility with other mods. I tested it out with vanilla city appearance, Species appearance. And ship appearance. I still started with jump drives.

For some reason, I spawn with starting a Jumpdrive_5? The mods i have enabled Is Cultural Overhaul, and some extra ship models. And starvation and rationing.

I am asking cause I have NSR installed and for some reason ONLY the Vanilla ships are still normal from the inbuilt "Increased Ship Size" of NSR.
Thus I am asking, What does the "Increased Ship Size" of the NSR mod effect to change the vanilla to have it be compleatly ignored for some other mod in my collection...

@AUSGrizzly NSR isn't really created for vanilla. You can install "Increased Ship Size" from the description, that may work.

@Mugi Sry, I don't use the Elven mods. Unfortunately i don't know which mod your phys tech changes.

Ok so quick question. Any idea what mods could be forcing the Vanilla ships to retain their normal Fleetsize values??? The Modded ships of NSC and ISB work fine, but vanilla ships still read their smaller amounts.
The problem for me is that I don't remember adding anything that would have done it as one time it was working and now its not...

I wonder if there is a conflict somehow with the Elven mod, because when I used these two together (or perhaps some other mod) all my ships had access to the best drives right off the bat? I'm using no other gameplay changing mods, outside of traits, so I'm confused.

@AUSGrizzly NSR didn't need the compatibility patch mods, but worked with them. The mods on the list were to be excluded in case of problems. My modpack was also a kind of compatibility list.

I don't play Stellaris at the moment. Maybe next week I will update NSR and the collection to 1.9.1

I would love to see this come back in the next few updates. The idea is perfect for my love of this game, but without some current update love, this doens't play well with most things.

Also just want to ask.
You said that you don't need to get the compatability patch mods cause NSR did the compatability stuff then said that you balanced off your collection, YET when lookin in you collection, there are the compatability patch mods. What?

@Hexagoros Hmm .. i also use the ISB mods. Useful Stations does not replace 00_ship_sizes.txt. If i can't reproduce the problem... unfortunately I can't do anything.
I'll patch NSR later or tomorrow, maybe the problem will disappear then.

Let me clarify - the ship sizes of the ISB added ships are increased, but vanilla ships are the same.

I have to report the same problem as another below, the ship sizes don't change. :/ Only mod I'm using that involves Ships is the ISB line of mods.

I would like to report a problem. The ship size of corvettes, destroyers and cruiser didn't change :
Corvette is always with a size of 1 instead of 4, destroyer with a size 2 instead of 10 and cruiser with a size of 4 instead of 16. Everything else is fine.

so turns out it was just me as a noob... reading/testing alittle... Epic Galaxies - Make Space Bigger was what did it... just really wanted the reduced border part from it, because it makes it more like what they are doing in 1.9... anyway love the mods! keep up the good work!

they have redone the progression of aquiring ships, frigates are now a section of destroyers, its supposed to go
lvl1-corvettes
lvl2-destroyers
lvl3-cruisers
lvl4-light carriers
lvl5-battlecruisers
lvl6-strike cruisers
also destroyers had almost the same health as cruisers

@GENOBEESRAGE Look in the mod description, you see we play NSR with 126 other mods. The megastructures were my mistake, that should have been fixed.
NSC and ships should work. What is your problem exactly there?

i dont where in my mod list this is clashing, but this breaks my megastructure menu, and nsc patch needs to be fixed, no longer get destroyers at destroyer tech, and frigates dont exist anymore. but i like the idea

I am seeing the ship autobuilder refusing to use hyperdrives once I have them (or to use the 2nd STL drive) ...I'm worried this means the AI stays with STL's. Has anyone seen that happen?

It might be from an overlap with an ExNihil Overhaul Mod, not sure.

@Regnion As in the description, i have added 2 STL-Drives. The sublight drives are based on the game mechanics of the warpdrives. The STL-Drives should be slow. This will not change.

10,000 days for Hyperdrive. Default is 10 days, I can see a slower game mod pushing for a slow down of things, but this is too much.

Did you increase the amount of time it takes to warp over 1000 days? I sent out science ships ages ago and they still haven't got to their systems. I deleted one and built a new ship to see how long the travel time is, and that's ridiculous. This is using Warp, I've not checked hyperdrive or wormhole yet.

Yup. Btw guys, the old mod is included in Epic Galaxies: Make Space Bigger. So, the STL tech isn't there.... but It still slows it down a bit.

This mod is breaking some of the tool tips, particularly the new ones. For exmaple, the new synthetic empire names are broken. If you go through empire creation you'll see some of them.

Im not getting much tech in either phsyics or engineering, and society runs out as well. Only mod I have that really affects the flow of the game is this one. Anyone else having a problem similar to this?

I'm having the same problem. Using only the mods in your collection the Auto-Designer never upgrades past the first level of STL for any empire.

@Daedwartin If you choose wormhole drives, the first STL drives are still based on warp-traveling, yes. If you have researched the wormhole tech, you have the normal wormhole mechanics. I have not changed the wormhole drive directly.
if something does not work with the normal wormhole travel then I will check again but during my tests everything was ok.
