We sure vanilla enemies werent touched? I guess its been years since I killed him, but I dont recall that first dragon you fight being so impervious lol. Granted, my bow was only an orcish bow using steel arrows, but I was like lvl 27 with lvl 70 heavy armor and basically A: couldnt hurt the guy and B: couldnt take a hit.....
Trakzer 30 Jul, 2020 @ 2:51pm
got one hitted by a friggin bear with legendary dragonplate armor and 1k health ... unsubscribed
Jaded353 15 Mar, 2020 @ 8:57pm
as far as keeping this version up to date, to get past the file size limits, perhaps you can split it into two mods which require eachother to function as a single big mod?
Dalquist  [author] 14 Sep, 2018 @ 6:27pm
The Nexus version is much more up to date and contains more content (I wasn't able to keep the version here up to date because Steam Worshop file size limits).
MaliciousOATMEAL 25 Jul, 2018 @ 4:22pm
Is there any difference between this and the Nexus version?
Super Mean Agent 24 Sep, 2017 @ 10:04pm
So should i get your other mods for dawnguard or this one alone will be enough? no conflicts will happen if i run both at same time?
Dalquist  [author] 18 Aug, 2017 @ 6:46pm
High Level Enamies will only apply to saves after you load them and even then the new enemies won't be saved until you save again.
Peng 18 Aug, 2017 @ 2:49am
If I download this, will it automatically apply to my older saves?
Dalquist  [author] 3 Jul, 2017 @ 6:15pm
This mod doesn't start adding enemies until higher levels (level 10+) so it won't affect low level gameplay.
Liberty Prime 12 Jan, 2017 @ 8:54pm
Well actually I don't remember which version it was.
Liberty Prime 12 Jan, 2017 @ 8:47pm
Well I unsubscribed and deleted it, also it was the scaled version. I'm just doing a clean reinstall anyways, for multiple reasons.
Dalquist  [author] 12 Jan, 2017 @ 7:19pm
I've never heard of that before. When you switched from the Steam version to the Nexus version did you properly remove it? If not Steam will keep reinstalling it even after you delete the esps.
Liberty Prime 12 Jan, 2017 @ 12:04am
I also used one of the optional files for this mod from the nexus and it came with a script so I removed that script from the script folder. I may just completely redownload skyrim if I have to in order to get the level scaling changes out of my games. Hopefully there's another way.
Liberty Prime 11 Jan, 2017 @ 11:32pm
I used this mod, then stopped using it and switched to the nexus version. Then I completely tried to get rid of this mod, but for some reason enemies are still scaling with me, and this happens even on completely new characters. I have checked the data folder several times and there are no files from any of your mods in there but for some reason I'm still getting literally every bandit to be the same level as me even though I've deleted both the steam and nexus versions of this mod.
Dalquist  [author] 16 Oct, 2016 @ 8:13pm
There are already some great dragon mods out there like Deadly Dragons and Ultimate Dragons.
J-easy 16 Oct, 2016 @ 10:41am
you should make it so all dragons are high level.
Dalquist  [author] 29 Sep, 2016 @ 10:35am
Any high level enemies saved in your save game will stay after the mod is turned off but they'll get replaced by normal enemies after a few game days. Other then that the mod doesn't run any scripts so it won't mess up your game.
Carcaroff 14 Sep, 2016 @ 1:26pm
can you activate it then uninstall without having the game fucked up? I want to try it but also being able to return to vanilla with ease.
turkey bacon halal pasta 2 Jul, 2016 @ 8:52am
@Dalquist could you please add high level imperials and stormcloaks? beacuse both sides are extremly weak compared to the enemies you icluded in thisa mod.
steffen44 21 Nov, 2015 @ 12:29pm
like a basic mod still the best i have
The Sour Hour 21 Feb, 2015 @ 3:10pm
Can you make this work with imperials and storm cloaks?
unbe.kannt 5 Oct, 2014 @ 5:07pm
Does the optional file "Raised ability caps" work only at higher levels or destroys it the balance on lower levels?
Dalquist  [author] 17 Aug, 2014 @ 6:19pm
Glad you like it! There's a bigger version available on Skyrim Nexus if you want to check it out. Couldn't post it here because Steam Workshop has a file size limit.
steffen44 12 Aug, 2014 @ 11:22am
dude i can't thank you enough, this mod is just great have used this every time i played over the last couple of years and it really adds something to the game thanks
Dalquist  [author] 30 Jul, 2014 @ 10:08pm
You can use any difficulty setting mods you want. The load order shouldn't matter. On the Nexus site for this mod there's an optional addon that increases the difficulty.
Pumpernickel 30 Jul, 2014 @ 9:23pm
Thanks for the reply! Very impressive mod, thumbs up. I was excited to start using mods on the Workshop, but maybe I'll have to opt for Nexus. Your version there has skeletons on the list which is exciting for me. Are the difficulty settings rescaled in your Workshop version? Am I able to use other difficulty setting mods with yours? If they're later in the load order perhaps?... Don't know much about how that works yet.
Dalquist  [author] 30 Jul, 2014 @ 7:04pm
The amount of punishment enemies can take is adjusted through perks and health values. I didn't make any changes to enemy armor so that this mod would be compatible with armor mods (like Immersive Armors).
Pumpernickel 30 Jul, 2014 @ 6:33pm
Sounds awesome! You mention above that armor ratings of added enemies are improved yet the armor they wear doesn't change with their weapons. So, for example, bandits will still be wearing fur or the like at higher levels, but it will offer more protection?
IdesofMarch44 10 Jul, 2014 @ 8:03pm
At what level do you stop finding new enemies? Also, is there a reason the only new bandit type I'm finding the Conquerer? Besides, that, great mod! Been really enjoying it! =D
Dalquist  [author] 27 Jun, 2014 @ 11:12am
There are links to the Russian, French and Spanish versions of this mod on Skyrim Nexus. Go to the High Level Enemies page and you'll find them.
shuvn73 23 Jun, 2014 @ 9:56pm
Sorry, translate the description of it mod into russian language. Please
StrikeWyrm 7 Apr, 2014 @ 8:22am
@ author on the size limit do the mod in 2+ parts. i.e. unedead, living, wild, ect.
Gamer 28 Mar, 2014 @ 3:58pm
Very Good Mod .It gives my mage a real challenge now.
Thank You
Dalquist  [author] 4 Feb, 2014 @ 3:04pm
It is.
IdesofMarch44 1 Feb, 2014 @ 5:25pm
Is this compatible with mods add extra encounters and increases the chances of finding enemies in the wild?
Dalquist  [author] 6 Jan, 2014 @ 10:03pm
Mammoth's are leveled in the version on www.SkyrimNexus.com but not on this version. I can't post the newest version here because it's larger than the Workshop's maximum file size limit.
THICCOSAURUS 5 Jan, 2014 @ 2:34pm
So are mammoths leveld to now?
Shadowblade 15 Dec, 2013 @ 4:16am
Great Mod It give you more of a challenge Thanks
stormcrow 8 Dec, 2013 @ 5:42am
Awesome
Dragon Master Z 29 Nov, 2013 @ 12:19pm
Just checked out your Nexus version and wow... you are a genius with all that work and with support even added to that new lands mod Falskaar and look forward to trying this out.
Dragon Master Z 29 Nov, 2013 @ 11:56am
Alright thanks I'll check that out and thanks for the reply :)
Dalquist  [author] 29 Nov, 2013 @ 8:37am
They aren't compatible but you shouldn't need to use them both since they make similar changes. The newest version of this mod does alot more than Enhanced High Level Gameplay and can be found at www.SkyrimNexus.com . I can't post the newest version here because it's larger than the Workshop's maximum file size limit.
Dragon Master Z 29 Nov, 2013 @ 3:39am
Is this compatable with Enhanced High Level Gameplay as that makes creatures scale to you? As theses are creatures you added it should be okay but just wanted to check, also cool looking mod :)
Linkovich 3 Nov, 2013 @ 6:49pm
Dude you are the best.
Dalquist  [author] 20 Oct, 2013 @ 11:19am
I couldn't include the facegen data because of the maximum file size limit on Steam Worshop. There is a newer version of High Level Enemies with the facegen data and a ton of improvements at www.skyrimnexus.com .
Sawely 18 Oct, 2013 @ 1:06pm
Looks like your facegen duzn work properly. The color of body differs from the head. Sorry for being impolite.
Dalquist  [author] 17 Sep, 2013 @ 6:00pm
Go ahead and upload it! Thanks for making the translation.
Gage 17 Sep, 2013 @ 3:51pm
I downloaded your mod and fully translated it to french (which didn't take very long :P). Would you mind me uploading my translation and crediting you?
Dalquist  [author] 11 Mar, 2013 @ 7:24pm
This mod will increase difficulty more than EHLG. For even more of a challenge look up High Level Enemies on Skyrim Nexus. I have an optional Hardcore file there that adds lots of difficulty.
