Ok, thank you anyway
-Thanks bruh, I actually found that mod and really love it.
In conjustion with a Rifles for Everyone mod, it is the only weapon mod I need.
I just really reeeeeeeeeeeally hate the Nerf gun look of all stock Human weapons in the game.
Nope. Sorry, I don't port weapons and the CV pack is owned by Krakah, I'm simply a co-creator because my content is in it.
At any rate, amazing work, Negativz. Three of the best weapons on the workshop - hands down. Now if you just had a Saiga-12 or 12K style shotgun and a RPK-16 style LMG to go with it, the workshop wouldn't need any other weapon mods.
That being said. Would be cool to see some sort of LMG, and Sniper Rifle AK variants like this.
@SgtoPereira>>> @kaerka
As for additional weapons I don't know. I'm leaning towards the no side simply because I don't really have time. If I put something out, then nice. If not, it's whatever.
Well i'm doing it directly in the main .ini files so you need to go to Users -> username -> Documents -> My Games -> XCOM 2 -> XCOMGAME -> Config -> XComGameData.ini -> ctrl+f "AssaultRifle_CV" and replace with the Template Name, in this case it will be AK15_CV
@ChosenAsh ini. files are located in the Steam workshop folder, SteamLibrary\SteamApps\workshop\content. From there it's a bunch of guessing and checking on which folder has the mod in it. Try sorting by "Date Modified" and choosing the more recent folders until you find the mod folder. Once you've found it go to the Config folder and the ini. files should be there.
@Sturm Try unsubbing and then resubbing. This fixed the issue for a few other people.
At some point I'll release the magnetic and beam schematics so you can use the weapon throughout your playthrough, but design-wise the weapon will look the same. As it stands I don't have the desire to spend more time modeling an actual magnetic or beam variant--I'm burnt out. Maybe at a later date, but not any time soon. On another note I do agree with what you're saying in that later variants should cosmetically look like their variants.
Plasma: building on our previous success with miniature coils, we have now simply altered them to fit with our advances gained from plasma research. It still looks and feels like a conventional AK rifle, but the end result are the much more destructive plasma bolts. Now all we have to do is device a method to avoid this new AK entering the arsenal of local warlords.
@Spellthis Not sure what you mean by that, but if you're asking if there's a magnetic or beam tier then not at the moment.
