I think you'd need the SDK for that
War of the Chosen
NOT war of the chosen!
NOT WotC!
Don't think that's because of LWotC, try setting the Take Photo to False. I think that's what seems to cause it.
The game freezes with the camera stuck in the ground.
IIRC, Configurable Headshots has some compatibility information for this mod on its Workshop page.
Also, if I generate those portraits with the mod options, is there any way to make them use WOTC - Configurable Headshots?
Or is there any way I can manually assign the Configurable Headshots's portraits to this mod?
Sorry, not my most helpful post. That's been reported a few times over the years, along with the problems on the Avenger Defence mission when running the psi overhaul mod. I think -bg- has moved on from XCOM 2 so they're unlikely to be fixed.
Yes. So don't enable that option.
Use MCM to change location, including anchoring to the sides of the screen.
Might be related, but I'm using the [WOTC] Shiv Mod, and doing this also causes a non-interactable Shiv model to be rendered randomly on the terrain.
If you have a soldier preparing to fire at an enemy, then use the Quick Solder Info UI bar to switch to a different soldier by clicking their portrait, the game will soft-lock after the second soldier fires!
Here are the steps:
1. Select Soldier A
2. Have Soldier A prepare to fire at an enemy, but don't actually confirm the shot
3. Select Soldier B from the UI bar
4. Soldier B will be selected, prepared to fire at the same enemy
5. Have Soldier B confirm the shot
6. Camera will pan back to Soldier A afterward, but the game will be soft-locked!
Again, love this mod otherwise, and as long as I don't do this particular sequence of events, things work great!
There is a small suggestion/wish. Make icons of their class instead of avatars of fighters. Or is it possible to increase the class icon in the configuration files?
The fact is that I start a lot of new companies and fighters always get different classes, so it's easier for me to manage a squad focusing not on faces, but on classes. I think I'm not the only one. )
Is there any possibility of you updating the mod with a different color for the selected unit or allowing the user to choose this through the mod settings? 🙏
Use MCM, or manually edit XComSoldiersQuickInfo.ini in My Games
Also, it took photos in the field and overwrote the ones from in the avenger taken by "Configurable Headshots" so that was sad.
other than that, such a cool mod! I LOVE having the images at the top, and the customization?! AMAZING!! getting to shrink the icons, move them, change font, it's amazing.
I added this to a heavily modded WOTC playthrough that had been stable for about 15 missions. After adding this mod, I played one mission fine, then the next mission I started getting regular crashes during mission load. It would take a very long time, then eventually freeze on the black screen with the rotating logo in the lower right. Crashes seem to be gone now that I unsubscribed from this mod. Too bad - I really liked this mod in the past, really helpful to always see who has actions left.
