ou could try one of the following:
1. Edit our mods localization file Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\1125601165\Localization\XComGame.int, then make it read-only to prevent steam from overwriting it again.
2. Copy everything in the localization file and paste it at the bottom (or possibly top?) of the base game Steam\steamapps\common\XCOM 2\XCom2-WarOfTheChosen\XComGame\Localization\INT\XComGame.int, make any edits you wish and then disable the mod to prevent it from overwriting your edits. Might want to make that read-only too, or make a backup after editing, in case an update to the game removes your edits.

Can you point me in the direction of the files that alter the text? Just wanted to customize them myself in my own game but im having a difficult time locating which files do that.

I just want to let you know that one Mac OSX the apostrophes on text you have changed are not rendered properly. They show up as quadratic boxes instead - looking a lot like the character for a missing letter that□s missing in a font ;)

undoubtedly the best xcom 2 mod on the workshop. best part is customizing the localization file for inside jokes and whatnot, i can no longer imagine supplies being called anything other than robux

I'm trying to use this mod using the Xcom Alternative Mod Launcher 1.4.1 but it doesn't seem to be working. I see the Wotc and the original build in the mod list, but when I click both on and try to run Wotc I get an error:
Error detected attempting to load of package: AyyLmao
and when I turn off the vanilla version and try to run Wotc the game never fires up. Any ideas?

after a recent game verification(couldnt progress on the black site for some reason) your mod doesnt appear to show up on the mod manager anymore. I do see a blank entry that allows me to check it off. but it doesnt apply.

Not sure if you can do anything on your end.

when you come back from missions, sometimes the voice you hear is "the speaker" or "propaganda announcer"

Replace those phrases with our own actual propaganda news networks, e.g. fox news, msnbc, nbc, abc, bbc, etc.

Someone update this masterpiece.
