Then do you actually need to install it?
yes, it works, but for me personally:
-sometimes soldiers generated from scratch slip through
-not from the entire list of soldiers fall into recruitment ~90% (specifically in lwotc), perhaps there is a conflict with another mod
but overall the mod works in lwotc (now v1.2.0)
Oh, I understand. I guess as long as the original Character Pool class isn't completely disabled in your current campaign it'd work.
anyway, i tried it yesterday and i think the answer is no. Which is to be expected. But a modder can dream.
All RPGO soldiers are the same class though.
Have you read the pinned Discussion?
The mod I listed allows you to fabricate HK-47, HK-51 and HK-55, they are built as a Squaddie. They are pulled from your character pool but it does not honor your selected class. I was hoping that this mod would lock the class but it does not.
This mod's not changed since 2017 (see the top right)

OK, I understand now. Thanks.
However, in my comment I had forgotten that it just keeps trying to keep the number of classes on units balanced even after the first of each class (ie The game will try to give you the same amount of Sharpshooters as any other class and same, pretty sure at least, as any other class)
Sorry for the long explanation, but if it is not understandable I can try to explain it better.
What are "first troops"?
I did sub to bad batch mod collection and no matter how much I train them in psi lab the game just choose other class randomly
1. Get a psi lab
2. Name the rookie as Psi (first name) operative (last name) (or just Psi operative in last or first name?)
3. Then train them in psi lab?
A mod's unique ID is part of its Workshop URL - the id=1125727531 part
If that's "All Soldiers Gain XP - WotC" then try disabling its 'units can level up outside of missions' option
