Does this version even work anymore? I get the phoenix rising logo but then it doesn't go further than that. Sad... I prefer this version rather than 2.0

1.2 is my all time favorite EAW mod, yes its clunky and often plays in slow mo, but overall it just plays great, especially if you have the old submod from the fourms that removes transports from capital ships and removes shield penetration from projectiles.

im also having an annoying issue with another mod "Rise of the Mandalorians" where the galactic background and some of the ship models now appear as green screens, any advice?

Indigenous units are mostly neutral unless they are Independent forces. 2.0 has recently been updated to include all work-in-progress GCs, including pure sandbox GCs.

I do recommend you try the 2.0 beta. It has much better performance in most GCs.

@anthony you probably have a folder in your C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption\Data\XML folder called "AI". Delete it. It was probably installed by an old verson of RaW or AotR. It interferes with other mods.

oh and for a while now the AI with most of the mods ive run for the past few weeks appear to be doing no thing, any ideas what could be causing that? so far the AI in Republic at war and Pheonix rising have been doing literaly nothing.

World devastators are in the Operation Shadow Hand GC. Tech is increased by researching individual unit types- read the manual included in the base folder of the mod

@Anthony there are world devastators in some GCs. Artillery for the Empire is built in the walker factory. For rebels it is at the tracker factory from tech 2 and up.

hey i got to know, what are the "super ships/ superweapons" in the 1.2 version cause when i hover over home one it says its weak against something that looks like a blocky ATAT barge with ATAT legs and feet.

ah thanks a lot... great mod by the way, but for the empire at the beginning very hard :-) i cant fulfill the orders at the beginning... only Tarkin comes to Lianna... how to conquer these two Rebel systems... the enemy fleets are very big!!

you are going with it. I also still have a copy of your "original' release.
I have had EAW and FOC since its first release and was delighted
to see not to see it on steam but nearly all my favorate mods form
the"old days" in the workshop.

@baddoggs try the 2.0 demo, performance has been improved a lot for that version. It's CPU-limited though so changing graphics settings won't do much.

I like the concept of this mod, the ideas behind it are solid but...
It seeems to be poorly optimised.
For perspective, i run an AMD 4x@ 3.9, 16 GIG DDR3 RAM @ 2800
GTX1050GPU and win 10 O/S (64bit)
FAR more resorces than the original title. Further i can run ALL the outher major
mods for this game at Flat chat with no issues at all.
I dumbed it right down to 800x600 res and turned EVERYTHING to base as well.
Regardless it is still VERY slow and laggy as hell.
As a modder myself, i know you can't just add a ton of stuff to a game without
consequenses. the more you add the more you need to optimise.
Outher than that, what i have seen looks good, wish i could play it properly.
