This needs to sort the uniforms in alphabetical order, and show the import from character pool serted by surname as in the mod extended character pool

@Slendermang
Uniforms and save games are separate. You could have saved a uniform, got your save corrupted, started a new campaign and apply your saved uniforms to your new soldier of the new campaign. There is a dedicated folder where uniforms/characters are saved.

Seems to have an issue with saving uniforms. After my last session I made an additional 4, however upon loading the save again they've gone and disappeared.
Hape 12 Jul, 2018 @ 8:02am
Tried to fool around with SDK to get this not to remove Torso Gear etc when applying Armor Tint and Pattern. No luck after three hours. RIP
Snowblooded 22 May, 2018 @ 10:06pm
I figured it out. Apparently the mod was conflicting with either xskins or mod everything and was preventing me from using the button. I appreciate the assistance though!
Snowblooded 22 May, 2018 @ 3:21am
This mod worked a week back and now I can't access the uniform button. I keep clicking and it acts as though it isn't there. More than likely user error but I can't figure out a work around. Any and all help will be much appreciated!

I try to save unfirms but it noly letsme save 2 and it gives me 2 save unfiroms options. Everytime i make a uniform and maske it global theres a high likelyhood it wont show up
Rusty Russell 21 Apr, 2018 @ 12:23pm
am i being stupid? i have unchecked the original UM mod as the first line says and i still cant save uniforms please halp
May'Sa 9 Mar, 2018 @ 2:40pm
The mod has issues with the new customizeable options of the faction heroes. IT would be nice if it could be made to not mess with those.t By that I mean, for instance, "torso gear" or "thighs".
ƒņŵċ [fenwick] 23 Feb, 2018 @ 11:24am
I know this is a compatibility patch but it would be nice if there were a "load self from character pool" where it would automatically load and apply the look of themselves in the character (by name, for example).

I have a huge character pool and sometimes it's a pain to try and find the right character to load, I mostly have characters already designed and I want to retain their look whenever it changes through armor loadouts back to their original setting as originally designed in the character pool.

Seems to be working for me - thank you very much!

LARGELinCHARGEL 17 Dec, 2017 @ 7:11pm
Hopefully somebody can help me out. I subbed to this mod and launched my game (I realize this may be the reason) with the Detailed Soldier List Mod, I thought I unchecked it. Now my game crashes and I cannot load it. I have uninstalled all files, unsubbed from Detailed Soldier Mod, and even that has not fixed the crash. Any help would be appreciated.

Well, Tran, I'm pretty sure we have some women playing XCOM 2 too, and I'm sorry to inform you we men do play with dolls. Just because we call them "action figures" doesn't change the fact that they're dolls. ;D
tran.bronstein 14 Nov, 2017 @ 8:13am
And yes, they arr action figures. Not dolls. Only.little girls play with dolls. He men like we XCOM2 players only play with action figures. :steamhappy:
tran.bronstein 14 Nov, 2017 @ 8:10am
Just tried this last night. You did a great job porting it. Thanks for your work.
Rogue11 2 Oct, 2017 @ 6:35am
Would it be possible/difficult to add a setting for armor colors only (not color + pattern)? I would like to use different camo patterns for each soldier but switch the colors depending on the terrain. Thanks for converting this to WOTC!

Just letting you know Im very interested in this mod and plan to sub in the future
ATF_Coldblooded Carebear || 29 Sep, 2017 @ 3:19pm
I have a few questions for you before I sub to this mod so their won't be misunderstanding on my part about its functionality.

1) if you multiple armour mod. (Kexx, E3245, Satu)... will they jump around whenever you either change tier or use light/heavy armour? (In my case they seem to go with a mercy skin by default when I put something completely different to begin with..)

2) do the mod keep tattoo lock on the character? ( again recently I have to retattoo over and over again because the don't seem to stay on the character)

3).... dang it my memory lost that one ...might come back later with so this will be the placeholder for it
Hape 28 Sep, 2017 @ 12:29am
There's a bug where applying only Armor & Weapon Tints still applies Torso Gear/Shins on soldiers. Is there any workaround for this?
The Great Garrus 27 Sep, 2017 @ 5:17pm
is there a way to make the exports like th CP in the sense of a new game i can import them without having to go to each character
cerberus 26 Sep, 2017 @ 12:21pm
Save to use on existing game? thx for the mod!
Agrippa HX 24 Sep, 2017 @ 3:20pm
Didn't I use to have a couple more buttons on my squad screen? What ever happened to the "Clear Squad" button? Is this just something at my end?
DigitalWizard 24 Sep, 2017 @ 10:42am
So, how can I use this to have rookies on Gatecrasher have uniforms?
Kaldin 19 Sep, 2017 @ 7:57pm
@Catalyst: Hmmm...I dunno, if it would be possible, but if you see an override as the only way, then how about this idea: Make that "Class Uniforms"-button an additional mod, that needs this mod here to work. That way, whoever wants the class uniforms can get them at the price of less mod compatability, and people that don't want them do not have to pay the price. Just my 2 cents. :iffy:
FaintSpeaker  [author] 19 Sep, 2017 @ 4:49pm
@KurdishForces Right now the biggest obstacle I have is a problem with the "class uniforms" button, which I am considering overriding the Avenger hud to add the button to the "Armory" tab at the detriment of less mod compatibility..
Just.Shae 19 Sep, 2017 @ 4:41pm
Also @catalys thanks for clairifying @Ginrikuzuma question, I think you should add it at the top of the description something like down below, I think a lot of people will get confused and think it patches the mod :steamhappy: :steamhappy: :steamhappy:

**********Only Check This Mod And Not The Origional For WoTC**********
Just.Shae 19 Sep, 2017 @ 4:39pm
@catalyst amazing work on the patch, I would love to see you update it add some things you like, as long as you give credit like you have I see nothing wrong with this? PLEASE!! :steamhappy:
Raidey 19 Sep, 2017 @ 6:40am
Oh man, can't believe I missed this. Thanks a bunch!
FaintSpeaker  [author] 18 Sep, 2017 @ 6:02pm
@Ginrikuzuma this file only.
Ginrikuzuma 18 Sep, 2017 @ 5:42pm
question about this dirty patch. Do we have both of them activated in the mod launcher or only the dirty patch? I want to assume only the dirty patch since its not listed here as a dependent but better safe than sorry.
Jake Milk 18 Sep, 2017 @ 11:27am
Hello. In my case the mod seems to work fine during campaigns. However, I've wanted to create rookie uniforms in the CP, so all soldiers would start with it on (outside of special classes, of course). The idea (taken from twitch streams by Beaglerush) has one additional benefit - soldiers during VIP rescues in Lost cities also get it which makes immersion better for me. Sadly, I can't make it work - rookie uniforms never seem to appear in-game. I've also posted a thread on reddit about this: https://www.reddit.com/r/Xcom/comments/70va7x/wotc_uniform_manager_question/ . Can anyone help? (Also, thanks Catalyst for making the patch :))
Insufferable Smartypants 17 Sep, 2017 @ 7:59pm
I had that same problem from WOTC_JsleezysRepurposedGear mod. Uninstalled that and CP worked fine.
I've seen it reported that this issue is fixed now, but haven't tested.
Edit:Ed 16 Sep, 2017 @ 2:48pm
Hey, me again. Just throwing this out there that for unknown reasons my Character Pool developed a bug where it no longer saved my Soldier's looks. Instead just randomising them every time I restart the game, and if I import from an existing campaign it will always show the trooper correctly, then crash, then randomise them when I reboot.

In short. Thank you enormously, again! As because of this glitch, this mod is now the ONLY way I can save any of my soldier's looks, as once in an existing campaign they stay un-randomed. So I have a whole (easy) campaign just to hold my character looks. This mod was, and is to this day, a godsend to me! Especially since I'm far too lazy to individually turn off and test every. single. mod. (bearing in mind I have basically every wotc compatible cosmetic mod at this point)
Scuba Steve 15 Sep, 2017 @ 7:39pm
You know for as useful as I find that feature I would definitely tollerate the work around. Getting all my uniforms built and then applied once is a lot easier (I think) than having to hand apply the uniforms to every new rookie or rookie-turned-class on promotion. Once I have the class uniform work done i rarely ever go into that again.... again that's just me. I definitely here you though about putting out buggy code.
FaintSpeaker  [author] 15 Sep, 2017 @ 6:02pm
Correct, I have disabled the events in this version because they were creating some problems. I'm currently stuck on why the class uniforms button disappears randomly. Though I've gotten it to stop appearing in the science tab and start appearing in the armory, once you leave the screen the button disappears until the game is restarted. I don't feel right releasing this with the workaround of "Restart your game every time you want to mess with class uniforms", so i'm sort of stuck.
Agrippa HX 15 Sep, 2017 @ 5:59pm
@Scuba Steve

I believe the author said he didn't implement that behaviour in this quick conversion.
Scuba Steve 15 Sep, 2017 @ 9:22am
Thanks for porting this!

(forgive me if this has come up already)
Is it just me or are others not getting the "CLASS UNIFORMS" button in the armory soldier view? Just wondering if there was a work around for this. I like the auto assignment of uniforms to rookies and classes.
Agrippa HX 14 Sep, 2017 @ 10:42am
@Sirabot

I posted discussions to both mods in hopes of prompting work on compatibility. You might be interested in subscribing to them.

Agrippa HX 14 Sep, 2017 @ 10:24am
Thanks, Sirabot. I want Detailed Soldier List, but I've been holding off due to some vague reports of incompatibility with this mod. Good to know and to have a general idea of the cause. Hopefully the two mods will be reconciled for compatibility.
Sirabot 14 Sep, 2017 @ 2:14am
Detailed soldier list has the issue of when this mod, or changing your graphic settings in game writes to the ini and breaks Detailed soldier list. Thus you have to rename your config to get it working again. Fragile mod that Detailed soildier list. Seems like any action that writes to the config while the game is running breaks both of these mods, and in turn the action of saving uniforms breaks Detailed soldier list.
Insufferable Smartypants 12 Sep, 2017 @ 2:19pm
Such a great mod!
hmgirlpopuri 10 Sep, 2017 @ 12:48pm
@Agrippa HX:

I get that, but most of what I use the uniform for is to have matching camo patterns and colors on everyone. Still, thanks for the tip.
Sirabot 10 Sep, 2017 @ 6:53am
I'm 99% sure this mod has compatibility issues with Detailed Soldier List.
profVi 9 Sep, 2017 @ 8:05pm
Update: An uninstall and reinstall did not fix the issue with the uniforms no longer saving their changes.
Agrippa HX 9 Sep, 2017 @ 7:09pm
@hmgirlpopuri:

Yeah, I have that issue too. My work-around is to define outfits explicitly to revert the hero characters. I imagine the other thing that would work well is simply to apply a uniform prior to adding the hero characters to the current mission. I don't actually want hero units to wear a general uniform anyway.
hmgirlpopuri 9 Sep, 2017 @ 5:46pm
Works great! Only issue I'm running into is that applying a squad-wide uniform on the Outfit Squad page (with only tints and patterns on weapons and armors affected) removes all the custom deco slots for the hero units (ex. my reaper's coat, torso accessories, and lower arm decos disappear, as does my templar's tubes and sash)
profVi 9 Sep, 2017 @ 2:48pm
The uniforms resetting also happens after I load a save file even if I don't close the game down at all. Any idea what I can do? Would deleting the mod and then reinstall it just completely lose me my ability to use my save files?
