Works perfectly fine for me. Genuinely shocked this isn't default UI. Amazing work!
I_Owe_You_Peanuts 18 Dec, 2024 @ 6:52am
I have seen streamers use thing not knowing it was a mod. This is so good that it should be a base game feature.
dskdev 16 Mar, 2024 @ 2:13pm

Crow 19 Feb, 2024 @ 3:08pm

Aruno 28 Jul, 2023 @ 1:40am
will this work with LWoTC? or RPGO?
dskdev 8 Jun, 2023 @ 8:04pm
This is a great UI but for some reason it always resets
Mlseviers 23 May, 2023 @ 2:05pm
The best health ui imo
Kered13 4 May, 2023 @ 12:06am
Is it possible to move the cover icons when you resize the health bar? Or is the position of that icon fixed?
mickomoo 1 May, 2023 @ 11:31pm
Damn this is the cleanest! But I already started a LWoTC campaign and I'm pretty sure this would break it.
Savajin 20 Mar, 2023 @ 11:39am
orange diamond is shield, yellow hexagon is armor.
zin 19 Mar, 2023 @ 8:08pm
What is the diamond icon and the hexagon icon? I assume it’s shield and armour, but which is which (if I’m even correct)? This is in WotC.
RubN 11 Mar, 2023 @ 6:01am
it worked before but not now... did you fix this bug?
♋ Zero Two 28 Feb, 2023 @ 4:08am
was working before but stopped
Dusto 22 Dec, 2022 @ 1:15am
I love this mod, but is there any way to get the classic armor display back?
SurrealStardust 14 Oct, 2022 @ 7:59pm
Not working?:steamsad:
snowcat 3 Oct, 2022 @ 12:36am
It now works by deleting the config file or reinstalling the game itself. Similar cases happen often with other mods.
VS-lockon 21 Aug, 2022 @ 8:50am
any one else have this not working
Kruzil 15 Feb, 2022 @ 2:39pm
I wanted to use this but it was causing 1-2 soldiers (per mission) to have invisible unit flags; no name, no health bar, no icons, nothing. Completely invisible. Out of curiosity I decided to disable 'Gotcha Again' and those same soldier's unit flags suddenly reappeared! There seems to be a direct conflict between these two mods.

Wishlist: I wish @RustyDios would use the aesthetics of this mod and make it as an MCM option in his 'Unit Flags Extended' mod. I enjoy the functionality of his mod, but I LOVE the look of this mod.
Church.exe 24 Nov, 2021 @ 12:29pm
This seems to cause an error when Templars have shields equiped with LWOTC. Couldn't tell you why since I don't have the experience, but through an extremely tedious and time consuming testing process the error does seem to be a conflict between these two mods. (damn shame too because this is my favourite UI change mod there is.) Is this known / is there a solution?
GradientPumpkin 15 Nov, 2021 @ 5:29pm
Does anyone know how to always have the unit's name active? Instead of it disappearing after a few seconds.
redstorm79 3 Nov, 2021 @ 2:54pm
works
Kaptin Bluddflagg 3 Feb, 2021 @ 1:38pm
works for me
MrLove707 27 Dec, 2020 @ 6:43pm
Still isnt working. the files are there per the description but I'm not sure what to do with them. I screwed up my game giving uber stats of HP and Armor to all my characters now the game gets horrible frame rates trying to keep up when they're all in one spot.
SurrealStardust 26 Aug, 2020 @ 5:13pm
It doesn't work, and I disabled framerate smoothing.
Mew1995 7 May, 2020 @ 1:26pm
Edit: while looking through my xcom folder i needed to see that i not even have a data called UIUnitFlag
is that relevant for the error maybe?
Mew1995 7 May, 2020 @ 1:19pm
Mod is broken for me, even when only activating that single mod, the health bar isnt changed to numeric. Hope a fix is comming soon ^^
Black_Fury 28 Apr, 2020 @ 10:22am

SstarLit56 16 Mar, 2020 @ 6:47pm

直接显示生命值而不是格子,但是我觉得其实原本的格子更有代入感一些
journeymane 18 Feb, 2020 @ 10:00pm
I was having trouble too, deleting the files in the XCOM2 Config folder in Documents fixed it.
Blastorix 8 Feb, 2020 @ 12:30pm
Hey, how does one move up the position of the names when using this mod, the health bar and the name of the soldier/enemy is merged together when I modify the positioning of the bars upward using Icon Y. Thanks for the response
Happy Random 13 Jan, 2020 @ 11:29pm
disabling framerate smoothing did not fix the situation, mod still does not work for me
lyra_tcm 13 Jan, 2020 @ 8:58am
for anyone having it not work, disable framerate smoothing in the options, this affect all visual mods
Marky Mark 10 Jan, 2020 @ 7:57pm
This mod works fine (and is so much better than the initial HP display, I can't believe it wasn't shipped like this), except for VIP / dark VIP, who now have no HP displayed - not sure if this is due to this mod?
Happy Random 9 Jan, 2020 @ 12:57am
doesn't work for me too
Lord Blitzman 31 Dec, 2019 @ 9:34pm
good
Krista 30 Dec, 2019 @ 3:10am
doesn't work for me too
Sammarok-GoodGaming 10 Dec, 2019 @ 6:37am
@ARIY@9 I don't know why it doesn't work for you. Do you have other mods installed, then read about compatibility. If not, did you try to follow the steps I mentioned in my previous post?
ARIY@9 10 Dec, 2019 @ 6:26am
it does not work. why?
Sammarok-GoodGaming 10 Dec, 2019 @ 4:19am
@Deadeye yes it works. It happened to me that my mods stop working when I change resolution or some graphic settings in game, if that happens, then you must delete all .ini files located in: X:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame\Config\

IMPORTANT: Do not run the game yet!

Then do a verify integrity of game files (guide here in case you need to know how to do it: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335 )

After steam finish verifying the game files, then run the game as you always do.
Deadeye 9 Dec, 2019 @ 6:22pm
does this mod not work for anyone else? Ive loaded up the game without any other mods and it just doesn't seem to want to work for me.
Sammarok-GoodGaming 14 Nov, 2019 @ 7:28am
@Rover yes it does :xcom2specialist:
Rover 14 Nov, 2019 @ 7:25am
Does this work with TLP?
spaceportal 28 Oct, 2019 @ 4:49pm
is it possible to make health green specifically only for the lost?
CigO_SmokeO_DoggO 3 Sep, 2019 @ 6:31am
@Peeiw ahhh ok that makes sense. ok ill keep it at its default then thanks for the reply :)
Peewi  [author] 3 Sep, 2019 @ 2:45am
Actually I might know what the tiny bar sticking out is.
It's probably the line that points to the soldier. With the default UI it underlines the HP bar, but this mod is taller so I covered it up.

Unfortunately I cannot help you with removing it.
Peewi  [author] 3 Sep, 2019 @ 2:35am
@Cig'O Smoke'O Doggo
I'm not sure what the "tiny little bar sticking out from the hp bar" is and I haven't actually played XCOM in years.
The icons are square. Both the height and width are controlled by IconSize.
I assume by thickness you're referring to what I normally call height and it is controlled by BarHeight.

I hope that helps
CigO_SmokeO_DoggO 3 Sep, 2019 @ 12:26am
Can someone help me understand how the ini work? i keep stuffing around with em but cant get what im going for. I reduced FixedWidthSize and SecondaryBarWidth to get shorter bars, but then i get a tiny little bar sticking out from the hp bar, messing around with IconY and FirstIconX seem to only move it around but dont reduce its width. I also wanted to know what do i edit to reduce the thickness of the hp bar.
Pixy 6 Aug, 2019 @ 9:34pm
@Search
That only shows up when you directly target an enemy with a soldier, with or without this mod.
