I couldn't replicate this issue in the Redux version either (3 or 4 campaigns now played), when the same thing got reported there.

I had ~10 trusted players running tests and another ~5 really good modders look over the code too ... not one person could reproduce the issue .. and no-one from the "really good modders" could see anything glaringly obvious at fault in the code ...

So this issue is almost 100% a mod<>mod conflict ... and more than likely caused by something in another mod not doing what it is supposed to do, when it is meant to do it ...

As stated in the description:

Multiple users have reported that LifetimeStats breaks certain story missions, particularly those which add new units to your control during the mission. While I have not done extensive testing, I have not had this problem (nor have many other users who I know use the mod regularly). I do believe that this issue is due to mod conflicts, however it seems that LifetimeStats is the mod which actually causes the game to hang. If you encounter this issue, temporarily disable the mod while you complete the mission then re-add it. You will lose any stats accrued during that mission, but should retain all previous stats.

DO NOT INSTALL. Had to unsubscribe because it breaks the "Meeting Mox" mission and makes it impossible to continue the campaign. After unsubbing i redid the mission and i could reach the evac zone just fine.

So I've sent you a Friend Request, as I would like to discuss an update/redux to this .. and I want to check I have the stat recording flow done right -- I need to understand it so I can slowly add more stuff over time

I'd prefer to talk on discord (XCOM2 Modders) but can't find you there ..

In my testing group things are pretty much working as expected, but one of the big things I'd to change/add is make things cross-campaign .. and I'm confused by how this actually tracks stats.

Regardless if I've not heard anything by end of the week, and going with your permission given below.. I'll put the Redux up on the workshop :)

Interesting, I'd check to make sure that you have the correct localization file for whatever language you are using -- I think they get loaded from them.

I've no words on the left of stats. For example, I see no "shots" word, "hits". Only numbers

Can confirm, autoscroll is broken in armory, and if set to always active in tactical it breaks there too, other than that, must-have mod

Still, all I wanted was a killcounter to go with Show me the XP, and this goes above and beyond

Please make a separate lost counter or remove them from the statistics altogether.
Because now the information about the murders is a little less than completely useless. lost — breaks all statistics.

100% , if I can figure out and -fix- why it fails to autoscroll anymore I would happily take ownership. And if I was going to release as a newer version (as steam is funny with ownership controls) it would be in-line with my other REDUX series of mods, which always credit the original in their opening paragraph :)

Absolutely, so long as I am credited in some form I am happy to allow the use of the codebase. I am also ok with giving somone else ownership of _this_ mod from steams perspective, that way it will automatically update rather than live forever on the workshop as a semi-defunct mod.

Hey thanks, I've been wondering on the status of this mod. Still absolutely love it.

Really wish the auto-scrolling issue could be fixed ...

Would it be okay to investigate the issue, and use this mod as codebase for a Redux version that fixes the auto-scroll, maybe resizes the panel to the 425 width of the CHL armoury.. maybe move where/how it gets displayed for compatibility with other mods ?

Not saying I'll be the modder to do this, but just checking the permission to undertake the task is granted ?

Im also getting the error of the list not scrolling. For now, I just hid the less interesting items.

Config settings for the Armory Panel / ultrawide resolution (3440x1440 / 21:9) =

This mod still fails to scroll the list in the armory :(
Without config options to move or resize the list stuck viewing the top 8 entries :(

This MOD made the task of "getting in touch with death" impossible. LOST'S cannot be activated. I screened and verified 110 MODs and confirmed that it was the cause of this MOD.

I've noticed this issue recently as well and believe it to be due to a mod-conflict with another mod as I run around 250 mods .... but as this mod has worked previously and hasn't been updated in over two years, my guess is something else is stopping the scroll

As to what that could be I have no idea, the mod worked fine for my previous campaign run and the only difference between that and my current run are some more of CX enemies added in and a few more cosmetic mods.

A curiosity indeed !

Is anyone else having issues where the armory list doesn't scroll as it is supposed to? I can only see ~8 stats on the page before it overflows off the bottom, but it doesn't scroll through the rest of the list.

I can confrm that this mod somehow interferes with the mission(s) when you rescue somebody and the team grows. I've just had such a mission. I couldn't "activate" that person. I disabled the mod and could finish the mission as usual. However, when I returned to the Avenger, ALL stats were gone :(

@Dragon32 You have done me a few solids over the years that this mod has been active. I don't really intend to do any major bug fixes at this point -- however I will see if I can update the log file to work appropriately in WotC or make the log file location configurable in some way. Probably won't get to this for at least a few days though.

On that note, if anyone wants to be added as a developer of the mod, I am happy to consider it : )

I was curious to see if I was capturing all my soldier's abilities so I enabled logAbilities

That writes to combat.log though. And combat.log doesn't exist in WotC. The destination log file seems fixed in XComGameState_WOTCLifetimeStats_Root.uc

I've searched through Launch.log for "LifetimeState[AbilityTriggered]:", which seems to be the text identifying logged events to no avail.

No idea if you're still interested in this or XCOM 2, if you are then I at least would appreciate an update. Thanks in advance.

I just had a troop take a nasty wound from a mind-controlled squad mate but the stats from this don't seem to acknowledge that he took any damage at all. Now, I am running Augmentations (causes troops to require cyber-replacement parts if they get gravely wounded), and I wonder if that might be why the injury isn't registering?

Unfortunately this mod seems to mess up certain mission triggers. For example in the first WOTC mission with Mox, the cutscene with the flamethrower enemies doesn't trigger, neither does the Lost swarm afterwards, so the mission can't be completed.
Same problem with the Tactical Legacy Pack, during "It came from the Sea", second to last mission. No chryssalids are spawning and the mission can't be completed since the objective "neutralize all enemy targets" can't be completed.

Both missions work just fine after disabling this mod.

I wonder if the issues people are having with L&A and Lost Tower is due to Mox and Shen not being proper team members? So any documentation of their actions is just generating errors? I have no experience with the inner workings of the game, just theorizing.

I'd guinea pig with L&A except that when I installed this, I had only just reached a point where I was starting to skip that mission in the game start options and do integrated DLC. Eventually you reach a point where you've just done the scripted missions a few too many times. ;)

If I restart soon, I'll give it a shot though.

Thanks for posting the ini location above. It's easy enough to find when you know the drill, but I still appreciate it. I play with repurposed repeaters (no executions) so the moment I saw the lifetime stats panel I knew I would want to change some details. Thank you, Kosmo.

It's a shame, I loved this mod back in the original and with Long War 2 but it hates Lost and Abandoned. I know some people have said they can get through the mission with it but for me it's the mod that specifically causes a problem. I've made sure it wasn't another conflict, even if it's the only thing I have on I can't evac from that mission. Since I like to play Ironman sadly I think the mod has to go until there is a fix so I don't have to remember to turn it off before that mission or lose the whole campaign.

This mod breaks the Skirmisher introduction mission (prevented the cutscene of ADVENT Purifiers incinerating the Lost from triggering) and Shen's Last Gift (i.e., unabled to target the turrets on the second level after activating SPARK) I know I was not the only person who had those two problems with this mod.

When my game could not progress during the Lost and Abandoned mission (the Skirmisher part,) I googled online to find out which mod was causing the problem - and right away I found the answer: people pointed out this mod was the problem. So I disabled this mod, and the problem went away.

Then I reenbled this mod and continued playing. Again, I ran into the problem with Shen's Last Gift. I instinctively disabled this mod, and the problem went away as well. Urgh, that's it - I uninsalling/unsubscribing this mod.

Now that you mention I vaguely remember having a problem with this before too, I just forgot it was this mod. I did not uninstall the other mods to test this by itself that way though.
As for mods that introduce a new unit, I don't have any. Closest I have is a rebalance for sparks and hero classes, would that cause the problem?

This was the only mission so far I have had a problem with, the war of the chosen intro mission went off without a hitch. Either way thank you for the info, I assumed removing the mod for that mission would reset the soldier stats entirely, but if it just loses stats for that mission I don't mind it at all.

I probably will just enable integrated dlc on my next play throughs, I just have not played the game with WoTC and the alien hunters before, so I wanted to see those missions for myself.

@Silamon Users have brought this up to me several times throughout the mod's life. I have played through the base game and WotC in its entirety with LifetimeStats enabled and not had any issues. I however, do not use many mods.

I believe that this is in fact a mod conflict, although I do not know which one. I also think that for whatever reason, the issue persists even if the conflicting mod is disabled. It likely has something to do with the way that LifetimeStats tries to save data and that some other mod introduces a new 'unit' that for whatever reason gives it issues on certain missions in particular.

I honestly do not know how to go about fixing the problem as I have not ever come across a good save file with minimal mod interference to really test with. I did decide to add it as a know issue though. Thanks for the comment.

This mod breaks Shen's Last Gift mission. With all my other mods enabled except this one, the mission works fine. With all other mods disabled but this one, the cutscene showing the assembly line at the start of the mission will not trigger, preventing you from continuing on.

I assume this was overlooked because few people will choose not to integrate the dlc content, but there are some people that still want to play the missions anyway. I would not blame you for not fixing it since it does not affect many players but you might want to mention it in the known issues section.

When I get introduced to the reaper, and there is a train that he blows up in a cutscene and the lost appears. Well that never happens, and i cannot complete the mission with this mod active.

Does it break any other missions like that and is there a solution?

I used this mod for most of my last WotC campaign and didn't have that issue. I've seen reports of Team Dragonpunk's Second Wave mod (forget the exact name) causing that problem though.

Hey, not sure if someone told you about this or not, but found that this mod would crash my game whenever i ended a mission in any way. Removing this mod fixed the problem, not sure why that happened but figured I'd let you know.

This mod stops the first WoTC missions from working, beware.
