I liked the dmgX2 (given and taken) as it makes this item really unique. High-risk high-reward items are much needed in BOI! I'm not too keen on the fear effect which makes enemy movement erratic though.

the7screw, Dont really see a problam with having an equivalent item for Spear of Destiny in the devil room. And if you manage to get both of them you now hold two weapons (each in different hand) and baiscally do double damage.

Now when i think about it you do pay 2 hearts for it while Spear of Destiny is free so it's probably fine as it is haha.

Update: I removed the double damage taken because it might be too much of a risk. I'll try to think of a different drawback. Put your suggestions in the comments :)
