For anyone who wants a work around to fixing the wick protocol ability (long war fix), go into the xcomclassdata.ini file, scroll down to the stanchion abilities, lieutenant, and replace the wick protocol with LockNLoad_LW (since vanilla also has this ability you might be able to replace it with the vanilla version) since this ability has a very similar effect but just reloads one bullet per kill. (note you'll have to reload your spark if it already exists to get the new ability (RebuildSelectedSoldiersClass command from "additional soldier console commands mod") new sparks should have it though automatically

My Sparks still cant equip grenades - what variable is it / how do you allow them to use grenades in your mod so I can try and track down the conflict? Cheers
FYI - Im also using Mechatronic Warfare: Total SPARK Overhaul and Metal Over Flesh if that

Hi. Wouldn't an easy fix for the wick protocol be granting a free reload charge after getting a kill on an enemy? Just curious.

First, thanks for this mod. I do like the spark class system. I notice though that I can't promote these classes through the AWC. I use Mr. Nice mod and normal sparks work, so does the MEC mod work with AWC. I'm not sure why they are greyed out for promotion in the AWC

when i go to promote my Spark it goes to the screen where you choose spark, stanchion, iconoclast etc...but you cannot select them.

I use a control pad and it allows me to highlight the selections but not select them.

Seriously, thanks for the work. I've seen so many people bad-mouthing SPARKS I almost felt silly for liking them so much... almost.

Also, twitch is a shot that consumes no ammo but still costs an action.

I know that you're unlikely to ever return to this mod, but if you do, adaptive's concealed damage doesn't work, and for some reason your class spark can't use spark's Arsenal for the heavy weapon.

Mod is awesome, nice work! Some balance issues encountered on the Iconoclast Spark where the strike does 14-16 damage... lol.

Upgrades don't become avalible until you build a normal SPARK unit and the custom SPARKs have no poses in the photobooth so thei just stuck T-posing.

I'm still trying to check all my mods to figure out exactly what's causing it, but there's a chance that this one is breaking the propaganda center, at least for Sparks that use these classes, since they're just T-posing.

I've noticed a bug with both of these classes becoming unselectable after having gone on several missions with them, they'll be listed as available, but they can't be chosen for a mission.

I apologize for not updating this sooner, I was unavailable for a couple of weeks there. I am busy at the moment, but am looking to address the upgrade issue and some of the perk problems soon. Thanks for subscribing.

Hello Zevvion. Great mod. I like the idea of different spark types. I would like to report you a game breaking fault. I played the shen last gift mission with the snakes in the cave ( including 5 men with one Iconcoclast spark). After winning the mission, the avenger crew view with the stats did not appear. the game broke. I play on ironmen save so I tested some options to get it back to run. I found out after killing the Ironoclast spark in the mission, the game worked afterwards like normal, the avenger crew screen appeared and the game went on. looks like it´s not a good idea to take a Iconoclast on the shen´s mission. Not much lost, I get the damaged spark back in game later. jut for our info. greetings martin

I think i understand why the armor upgrade dont work on the subclasses, i built a standard spark this new game and when u klick his abilitys u get a short cinematic with shen doing some installation program for the spark, and it might be what proxes the armor upgrades later on, if i start with a subclass like the game before this, it dont happen.

Same problem as Schrödinger's Skill. :(

Built Iconoclast first (and only), and no SPARK upgrades whatsoever. Building a vanilla one next.

Another thing, I was unable to buy the spark gear upgrades until after I had built a vanilla type spark.

Hello, I have problem here. I have researched Plated Armor and Magnetic weapons but I can't upgrade my SPARK's equipment, I don't have it even for buy in engineering. Please help, this is only mod I'm using for SPARKs (plus voices). And I can't equip SPARK with basic Autocannon, only with the ADVENT one from ADVENT armory mod...do you think it could be made by this mod?

@eldiabs I'm not sure, I haven't had time to look at that mod, but SPARKs have always been a bit isolated from the other classes. Definitely possible though.

How possible would it be to make this compatible (or the other required mod you have linked) with the promotion screen mod? I ask because a couple of other mods I use require that mod, so it's pretty much required for me to play.

Iconoclast has a perk naming conflict with Templars. There's a templar Sgt. perk called overcharge(33% chance for +1focus on rend hit) which gets overwritten with your colonel perk

@The Quake Good point, I will adjust the language in a future update. In short it means you need to have both actions available to use it (similar to Sharpshooters firing their sniper).

What does "fire from a stationary position" mean? Isn't every position stationary in a turn based game.
