That's default SLRR physics for you!

 this actually kills the handling if you actually want to have fun driving. give far too much grip like beyond realistic it makes you roll on simple corners and if you touch the handbreak... and has a permanent traction control on

Would be perfect if it didn't make all the cars roll over during cornering
JimmyTj 25 Jul, 2023 @ 12:20am
I undrstand it's been a while ince the last update, but I noticed that many of the sway bar values change to 25kN with the mod installed, does anybody know if is this a real change or is it just the name that changes with the actual values being unchanged?
aderbal silva 16 Feb, 2023 @ 12:10pm
Very good mod, but my cars also like to roll over quite easily, but besides that, the game is a lot more enjoyable now
Yellow1 12 May, 2022 @ 9:40pm
why are the cars in dealership always have perfect chassis?
TurboTokkie 19 Feb, 2022 @ 3:21am
What a mod man! In my career I have a PFAA Whisper Q1000XL with an 1800 hp V12 NA. I could never control it, drag races were very scary, but with this mod it became a breeze!
Yo mamas worst nightmare 5 Jul, 2020 @ 12:56pm
Yo, how do i uninstall this? i tried it but all the cars just flip on sharp turns and now i cant uninstall it
Soharuda  [author] 25 Apr, 2020 @ 8:58pm
@kuleshov_al - Its something I played with for a few months trying to get right. There was either no grip for drag racing, or too much grip for turning at super high speeds. The main thing is bodyroll. This mod improves on the car physics so much that body roll actually matters. Stiffer springs = less body roll which is why you noticed better handling. I never really gave up on this mod, just have taken a hiatus from SLRR in general right now.
psevdodoctor 24 Apr, 2020 @ 6:13am
Found tyre grip parameters in Tyre.java. Is there any way to calcuate tyre angle relative to the road? Or may be current actual contact patch? and from these calculations decrease tyre grip while car starts to roll.
psevdodoctor 24 Apr, 2020 @ 4:51am
Couple more tests update. Stiffier suspension and rollbars are helping a lot, but on high transverse accelerations(in sharp turns) cars still really prone to roll instead of slide. It is just look unnatural for such vehicles. Willing to help to polish this mod:steamhappy:

Great mod, thank you! But I have a couple questions. 1) Why with this mod, all used cars from joe's dealership have 100% chassis, It brokes entry points in game for non i4 builds, because cars are much more expensive now. 2) cars are much more grippy now and prone to rolls on turns. Is there any way to lower center of mass for cars to decrease quantity of rollovers? or may be change transverse grip only(without touching acceleration) 3) Is there any general guide how to modify physics in this game, after your mod I really want to tinker with physics by myself.
Thank you!
PS Sorry for my english

If im not mistaken, been a while since I wrote this mod and it could use some updating, find Tyre.java in the core scripts and change this line
'setMaxWear((0.15+(rubber_rigidity_new*rubber_rigidity_new*rubber_rigidity_new*rubber_rigidity_new)*0.85)*50000000000.0);'

Just increase the '0.15' and try that first.
Booglies 5 Jan, 2020 @ 4:10pm
Fantastic mod, really makes the vehicles feel a lot more realistic.

If one wanted to change the tire wear though, is that very difficult to do?
Soharuda  [author] 2 Nov, 2019 @ 1:45pm
Shouldnt effect performance at all as I've played this fine on my low-end 1.4GHz dual core laptop.
claydub19 1 Nov, 2019 @ 7:42pm
how much will this effect the overall pc performance needed to play?
[Salty]peterpanDK(Noob) 8 Oct, 2019 @ 10:16am
Yeah falling through the floor happens in the game when unmodded as well.
Soharuda  [author] 9 Sep, 2019 @ 5:30pm
CharlieWade - I tried playing around with it and can’t seem anything related to acceleration only. Anything to do with physics if you slow down the car with more weight, wind drag etc it removes top speed as well. I’ll keep testing but don’t expect an update soon as I currently don’t have internet on my pc.

SilentRetr0 - Not related to this mod, a game update broke stuff. Have a close friend who uses this mod constantly along with many others. iirc there’s a workshop item for the build 936? Exes that should help (fix?) this issue.
SilentRetr0 6 Sep, 2019 @ 11:57pm
It seems i fall through the ground quite often
xlovermanx 3 Jun, 2019 @ 5:53pm
is there any code in the items that would greatly reduce the acceleration to a more manageable amount that i could take a look at myself because i did mess around with higher weight amounts in the Main config files and it seemed to drop down the acceleration the higher the chassis weight was not sure if its just my imagination
Soharuda  [author] 3 Jun, 2019 @ 4:34pm
Im working on adjusting how the swaybars act, as well as how drag affects the vehicles speed. With the stock model your faster having no body panels at all. Swaybar physics should help with the rollover issues. I had alot of complains about wheelspin so i had to fix that. Drag has already been fixed in my local copy, working on swaybars now.
xlovermanx 3 Jun, 2019 @ 3:43pm
its too bad i cant find anything that gives every car more realistic weight seeing as every car likes to randomly roll over when turning
Itemfinder 9 Apr, 2019 @ 7:04am
Unrelated to your mod, I have to thank you for reminding me.. I've been suspicious before, now I'm certain, Forza treats it's tires the same as default SLRR. It sums the forces and applies them at the CG, to compensate for the buggy, outdated, tire simulation approach, rather than feeding them through the suspension (it has no kinematic suspension model either). The result is terribly unpredictable behavior in high-slip scenarios and generally feels like poo to drive.
Supreme Guardian 11 Feb, 2019 @ 9:41pm
ok Its working now. not sure why it wasn't working. and I like the mod. makes the game feel much better
Ascarie 23 Nov, 2018 @ 8:02am
Thanks!
Soharuda  [author] 22 Nov, 2018 @ 6:14pm
@RedFleckBirdy - Sorry, foxes discription. Not sure how I noticed it was so bland and useless.

@Turner - Thanks, basically used what you said for added description just reworded a bit.
Solid Turner 22 Nov, 2018 @ 4:05pm
@RedFleckBirdy it doesn't add anything, it just chenges the car physics to a more stable and predictable model
Ascarie 22 Nov, 2018 @ 7:39am
Hi! What is this mod? What does it adds? There is nothing written down. Thanks!
Soharuda  [author] 20 Nov, 2018 @ 9:17am
Any error log output or something? There is no indicator that it’s installed. Just works. If it’s crashing your game please get me the error.log from it and I’ll fix it later today.
Supreme Guardian 19 Nov, 2018 @ 12:03pm
isn't working :(
Soharuda  [author] 6 Oct, 2018 @ 4:19pm
@LucidFooly - Thanks, doing alot better. If anybody has suggestions to better improve I would like to hear it. Still doing some testing every so often.
LucidFooly 6 Oct, 2018 @ 3:35pm
hope you're doing better man. my condolences to you and you family.

r.i.p man.:steamsad: sorry for your loss.
Soharuda  [author] 21 Jul, 2018 @ 10:46am
Should be fixed everyone. Accidentally left some bad variables in Tyre.java, careless mistake but a 5 second fix.
Soharuda  [author] 19 Jul, 2018 @ 12:34pm
Just laid my mother to eternal rest Saturday. Not yet, sorry everyone :( will get back to it once I’m back in the right mind.
Drysyn 19 Jul, 2018 @ 5:03am
is this fixed yet?
Soharuda  [author] 12 Jul, 2018 @ 9:18am
I’m at work right now but I’ll look into it when I get home today. Must of accidentally left some broken code in there.
Solid Turner 12 Jul, 2018 @ 3:19am
Closing the tire pressure dialog crashes the game instantly. Not changing the pressure itself, just closing the dialog.

Fixed issue with incorrect wheel rotation in catalog
Soharuda  [author] 22 May, 2018 @ 4:35am
I’ll have to look into it. If there is an issue because of the Wheels.java it’s because of an update. Will need to reinstall to get the vanilla.
g13ba 21 May, 2018 @ 4:06am
Just compare parts\scripts\rgearpart\reciprocatingrgearpart\src\Wheel.java with the original file
Soharuda  [author] 13 May, 2018 @ 8:32pm
Catalog has nothing to do with this mod. This mod only changes the driving physics
g13ba 13 May, 2018 @ 2:12pm
In the catalog the wheels are rotated by 180° so their inner side is shown.
Soharuda  [author] 14 Apr, 2018 @ 1:38pm
Have uploaded the new add-on and will only be visible to anyone I add as a creator.
cs.tom 24 Mar, 2018 @ 3:30am
Hey mate. Im so happy to hear that. I would love to volunteer for a project like this. Happy to help. Hit me up and i can help as much as you want.
Soharuda  [author] 21 Mar, 2018 @ 1:08pm
Okay, I’ll be making a addon for this Mod for tire debugging. Will use tire tuning menu for PSI, will display tire type and the value names with a slider. Anyone who would like to volunteer please comment here and send me a friend request
Soharuda  [author] 21 Mar, 2018 @ 12:05pm
That’s the only issue I have to work out with this Mod. I just sadly haven’t had the time to do so. Each tire type has to be adjusted. Issue is too much grip and it’s back to square one with roll overs. Hopefully I’ll get time to try to fix it soon.

I could make a beta tester addon for this to allow players to find good tuning numbers for each tire type and then comment on it with the values. That wouldn’t take long to make.
cs.tom 21 Mar, 2018 @ 12:27am
I also think that most of the suspensions FWD or RWD are just way too slippery. Little more traction would be more realistic. My opinion. I play this game since it came out tho. About 14 years and counting. So im pretty experienced on how to build those funny cars.

Ahha. So you changed each suspension individually. Could you give support us users with a list like

MC GTLE even drifting
Haulers 750 grip/drag
Baiern street roaming
Duhen dvc 1.5 shopping cart
Soharuda  [author] 20 Mar, 2018 @ 2:57pm
@cs.tamas - Basically what Save said, try out different sets of suspension. Each one has better use for what you want to do. I found the Prime DLH is really good for drifting even.
IntoxicatedMunky 20 Mar, 2018 @ 3:42am
@cs.tamas You're doing it wrong, dont use MC suspension for grip. Use Hauler Superduty extra 750 suspension couple with drag tyres and watch your car doing launch wheelie right from the start.
