Afternoon. I used to be able to customize speed, transparency, fonts, etc. But now I have reinstalled the app and this feature is gone. How can I get it back?

I don"t know much about editing such things and my english is not that great but I"ll try to explain. Moving line leaves a trail which overlaps the previous one. So in the end the square for letter becomes dark gray but not black. How can I make a black color after a symbol completely fades away? Is it possible to make such preset or teach me how to edit it?
