Make a rideable Fjordur Hawk! That would be só nice...

I gotta say the only thing these have going for them is that they're cute... like normal otters are.
Their hp is a joke, their weight is not enough to carry even 4 stacks of fish without getting encumbered... they can't even equip the saddle without becoming immobile from being overweight.

They have sort-of decent swim speed, but diving is messed up and really difficult.

And while the one I caught came with 3k oxygen (lmao), it did 10 damage to a piranha. It took me a solid minute to kill a single fish with a KING otter.

This, along with the Rideable Jerboa mod (the King Jerboas are pretty much useless as well) are 2 mods to get only if you want cute pets, not functioning dinos.

I think they could probably do with being able to do a bit more damage. At least to fish. I just tried to go fishing with mine and it was doing 12 points of damage to a piranha.

Hello, Is this otter spawns on Cristal Isles ? I put te mod on already for sevral days, and did not find any, thank's for your comments :)

My only complaint about the otter is taming it is tedious, they are too rare to be at the right place right time to fish, and heck you can't even ride them. I'll take 20

Trying to get them to spawn on Abberation... Did the whole NPC Replacement thing in the config of my server but it wont work.. works with other dinos tho... I can spawn the otter manually but it wont spawn automatically... Can i enable them apwning on abberation?

Also the swimming is kinda "broken". You cant dive easily on the King Otter you need to swim circles to get on the ground. Needs to be fixed also with the stat problems.

The Mod doesnt seem to be correct. After the restart it will reset the King Otter life to nearly death (also the baby king otters will be set to a king otter stat after restarting before it it will have normal otter stats). So it will lose one time after taiming or fully growing all life and after that its ok.

Without an update to this behavior the creature will only correctly work after a restart of the server ot the singleplayer modus

We just installed the mod on our servers. On rag was the first server to tame them an we have 2 there. Over the day both nearly died of low health. Both had food so it was not that. Anyone help?

Any news on an update? Baby king otters have the stats of regular otters, which means bred king otters are absolutely, completely worthless.

Well, I love the mod but I have a problem and that is that my otter loses his life to death and has the food to the fullest and fish inside, the map in which game is ragnarok. Could you tell me why he dies? .Thanks in advance

@Darkborn Dragon: The King Otter is a seperate creature that doesn't replace any existing Otters and should also not interfere with Otter spawns except maybe because they also count towards the dino limit of a certain area / max dino count.

Will the Watermovement get improved soon? Or is this impossible to change? I rly like this huge Otter but when i cant get into water with them they are a bit useless.^^

Does this mod interfere with normal otter spawns? I've been searching for a normal shoulder riding otter for hours with no luck. Just a milion big ones :/

The otter takes a while to go up/down, and in often cases that almost killed me because of it. It would be nice if that was fixed, but other than that this mod is quite adorable. A nice touch to my otter family.

You should really do a Pheonix mod. Y'know, give it a saddle, have it gain more weight, little improvements. :)

I'm on Ragnarok and no King Otters have spawned. I did a wild dino wipe, then went to where "otters" were showing on Tek Scanner, tamed them all, did a server command to kill all Coels, hopeing that would make some spawn, but still nothing. :/

This mod is awesome! We now have a gigantic melanistic otter as our tribe's mascot. If I may make a suggestion, I would rename the king otter Siamogale, which is a real life prehistoric otter species about the sie of the ingame one.
