It fixes the wrath cannon to target properly a frontal cone. The targeting system of the cannon was bugged, its just a fix. You can disable it by putting false.

When I checked this mod's ini I found this. What is it here for? And why is it already set to true?

It does, it gives -20 defense. (By not getting the crouching bonus)

After playing with this mod for a while, it still works well with no issues, and a decent upgrade for the Sectopods. I'm not a big fan of mods that give giant buffs, so this is a nice in-between. It's also real helpful that I'm able to edit the config of the mod to my liking. (personally, I set the stance back to be a free action since it'll make them a bit scarier with me having to take into account it having 3 APs when I trigger it).

I'm not sure Sectopods need a boost when they can attack 3 times per turn and are harder to take down than the Chosen.

Height advantage is +10 in XCOM, so yes it is partially negated if you are high. In fact its a good tactic.

The twenty defense is negated by a height advantage, although I suppose that the sectapod could just destroy the roof.

So far, the mod seems to be working. Of course, it's only shooting at a mimic beacon (I said I'd test it, didn't say on myself! I spend training points on these guys!)
