Yeah, I saw that. It's awful how they treat the Bears though sadly. But definitely amazing from an objective viewpoint how good they are at wrestling.

Yep, I'm sure you've seen the videos of a young Khabib Nurmagomadev playfully grappling with a bear cub, and we all know how he turned out. Amazingly, there's video of him reuniting with the bear in recent years, too.

Poor Bear. Was so awful and cruel what they did to him. What's amazing though, is that Bears are actually natural wrestlers. They have an inherent understanding (they wrestle each other very early on in life during play) of wrestling and Jiu Jitsu and there's videos of youtube on it. They transition into guards, manipulate leverage etc. so it probably wasn't very hard to teach Ted amateur wrestling. He probably knew most of it already. Seriously.

I had to look up a video of Terrible Ted, a bear trained in amateur wrestling. Amazing, you learn something every day.

Appreciate your words, Karate. Ted was an interesting challenge to approach, obviously. Had to break a lot of my usual logic rules to get him to work the way I wanted.
