I have read the description and surmised it was written in geekese and thus not for Norms but it has the word Pirates in the title so i like it . . . . . . . whatever it is . . . . . Pirates is ALWAYS good to have in the title.

I can't seem to get it to work I've tried waiting and the antenna spawner neither no one ever shows. Is there something i'm doing wrong?

Also, will it conflict with any of the mods based on Planetary Installations/Planetary Cargo Ships? Trying to find the right balance of AI/NPC mods that play nicely together without shredding local & multiplayer performance!

You most likely won't see any of the spawns if you are within a planets gravity well. Due to how the games spawning system works (and the fact these are all space-faring ships) you won't find any in the atmosphere.

You're best bet to get consistent spawns out of them is to either play on a moon, or else in space such as on an asteroid. Personally I tend to make orbital stations above moons and I get random spawns every 15-30minutes (Though not always these spawns, the game has a lot of default spawns it can choose from too).

As for lag, some of the ships have a ridiculous amount of blocks. Sorry to say this but I don't really have the motivation to upgrade this mod to fix performance issues or other things. For any new worlds I would advise users to check out Sunoko's version 2.0 redesign. This is really just for people who have really old worlds who have already had this prior version running. (2.0 requires a new save, this version does not)

im gana load this up nd try it out!! the guys on our server are "Bored" and have "notng to do" so lets kick it up a notch :)
Update, we havent seen anythign spawn yet...

This mod should work for new or old saves. If you're going to make a brand new world I'd invite you to try out Sunoko's version 2.0 however.

The atmospheric drones I don't really know about. I've never seen a random encounter spawn on any of the planets since they wont spawn in or near a gravity well. I don't think this mod included any ground-based pirate stations. Everything I imported, fixed, re-exported looks pretty darn space-faring to me.

Just to clarify, do the atmospheric drones added by this version work? Because they were carried over to the new raycast version in the file system but don't actually spawn or anything.

GFDExposer is baked into this mod, you do not need to download it to run this. There is no button to activate it, the activations happen randomly as you are playing. Though you may not see them if you play on the surface of planets (moons are fine)

The mod works for survival, it adds additional spawn encounters based on your current activities. such as if your in a suit youll get light spawns, in a small ship youll get medium spawns, in large ships youll get large spawns. This is in addition to the default random encounters.

Wow I can honestly say I was not expecting this much interest. I was expecting like 5-10 subscribes (1 of those being myself).

There are a couple prefabs I need to go back and double check, because I got halfway through updating this mod before I realized ships can have multiple PB's (oops!)

If anyone notices something you believe is an issue with this mod (such as one of the spawns not functioning how you think it should) please let me know.

Yes Shack is using this one as EEM 2.8 is very derped at the moment. I pulled it ( EEM ) from my server as well as it was causing massive issues for all my users.
