@Divine Lubrication
When I kill a turret with this ability, the user unit doesn't get the kill. Minor issue, but is there any chance you could easily fix that? Thanks for the great mod!

@lety4ayavoropaeva
This changes how the Demolition ability works.
I've used this mod in non-LWotC campaigns.
No idea on the other mod.
Load order isn't a thing for mod-users in XCOM 2.

I have a question about the Demolition ability.
There are 2 mods that allow it to work on areas:
- "A Better Barracks Arsenal for LWOTC"
- "Collateral Demolition Wotc"
In the first mod, the option is disabled with the "broken" mark.
The second is super old.
Questions:
1. Maybe someone has already fixed it in some fix?
2. Is it dangerous to enable them together?
3. Do I need to build a loading sequence?
4. Does any of this work under LWOTC?

Needs playtesting but probably the best demolition buff out there.

Seconded the last comment, wanna know if this is compatible with LWotC.

Does this work with LWotC?

I'm confused, the ini says that game only accepts radius increments of 64 units, but you set a radius of 160.

Hey, a quick question: how does this work on enemy units? Specifically there's an ADVENT unit in A Better ADVENT listed as having Demolition—will it work, be unable to use it (which I wouldn't mind), or potentially crash? Thanks.

In vanilla, does the envoronmental damage value reflect the tier of weapon being used? It seems that this mod inflicts a flat environmental damage value of 30 to the cover no matter what weapon is equiped. Is this true?

Is it possible to make Demolition non-tile snapping? I'd like to make it a 2x2 without snapping.

Now we can use Demolition for actual demolition work - blasting squad-sized holes in inconveniently-placed walls/floors/ceilings, for example, or blowing the floor out from under enemies for fall damage.

@boisegangpc:
No changes to XComGame.int (quite easy to check that yourself). But does it really need it?

LocLongDescription="Unleash a volley of bullets at your target's cover, significantly damaging or destroying it. Deals no damage to your target."
LocHelpText="Fire at your target's cover, significantly damaging or destroying it. Deals no damage to your target."
LocPromotionPopupText="<Bullet/> Demolition requires <Ability:SelfAmmoCost/> ammo points and has a <Ability:SelfCooldown/> turn cooldown.<br/><Bullet/> Demolition does increased environmental damage, and will destroy most cover objects.<br/>"

As much as I try to avoid balance affecting mods, this is necessary. Demolition is utterly unreliable.
Black Raven 11 Sep, 2017 @ 9:20am
This makes Grenadiers useful again, as they pretty poor in WotC
Boisegangpc 10 Sep, 2017 @ 8:34pm
Last I checked, the vanilla version didn't modify the description to state it was a Placed Area of Effect. Is this changed?

There was a mod that gave +20 for Demolition to hit, which I'd like to use but isn't being supported anymore. The fact demolition can miss is DUMB.

Do you take requests? would you please change shadowstep to lightning reflex in the Ranger tree?
Green Raven 10 Sep, 2017 @ 7:36pm
God bless you!!!
Shadowlight 10 Sep, 2017 @ 6:59pm
Does it means that the ability always hit as long as you target it on the cover?
Nasarog 10 Sep, 2017 @ 6:11pm
Awesome mod. Thank you.

I used to love it on the ORIGINAL XCom: UFO Defense when I would just start shooting scenery to open site lines. This does that all over again, Luc. Many thanks, Sir!
Vullcan 10 Sep, 2017 @ 3:04pm
Great i love this mod like in vanilla game.
Dragon32 10 Sep, 2017 @ 2:58pm
Fantastic, thanks for bringing this to WoTC, Divine Lucubration. Makes Demolition a useful skill.
Alexandr 10 Sep, 2017 @ 2:55pm
What a good little idea for a mod that would make the skill worth taking over the other choice/choices available. Thanks!
