Heads up for anyone trying this with LWOTC: There seems to be a wilderness/Supply Raid parcel that causes a hard CTD when loading a save, even if its on the Avenger. That is to say, having a mission active that uses this bugged parcel will corrupt your save even if you're on the strategy layer.
Be advised, so far there haven't been other problems I'm aware of with LWOTC except for this one, but unfortunately no one's been able to identify the specific parcel for a fix."
Oh good. It's taken me 3 days of crashing loading screens before I stumbled on this, but I'm glad I am one of the few people who has also now experienced this.
Supply raid - destroy advent reinforcements or something, wilderness. Crash every time I try and load it, and rerolling the mission by reloading an older save before the time runs out, doesn't seem to work either.
Weird. The .umap wasn't there then?

I've copy-pasted another plot in order to complete the alien facility, then deleted this mod.
It's been more than 5 years since the last update so probably not.

Yeah, I had the resistance troopers (100% sure it was not the one with civilians with circles).
I am not using mods that alter mission types (except removing crate missions, completely unrelated), the only thing I have that affects militia is 'The Militia Overhaul mod' (the only bugs mentioned over there is related to invisible weapons, nothing on militia not spawning).
There're two version of the Haven Assault mission type, one with resistance troopers and one without. In the latter the civilians have circles round them and you have to rescue 6.
If it was the first type and it borked I'd look at mods you use which alter mission types rather than map mods. Map mods provide the stage, mission mods set the cast.
I only had clusters of civilians but no militia members there to protect them.
Has anyone had similar problems with militia not spawning?

Did you ever solve the issue? Im getting similar crashes on advent facility missions
The plots and parcels of this mod all have "voz" in their names. At a guess those are from one of Eclipsezr's mods, I've seen similar "Found SpawnRestrictor with a null volume" errors but no idea if they're a problem. They've not caused crashing for me. At least that I've been able to directly attribute.

these lines keep appearing in the log right before i crash after the loading screen for a mission could they be linked to this mod?
No idea if you're still maintaining this or even modding XCOM 2 any more.

I had a mission to destroy an ADVENT facility the other day, using this: lg_powercore_Voz_C
The mission was in the Alien biome and the power core didn't look great: grass was missing from the top of the cliffs that encircle the facility.
I tried editing XComParcels.ini to add the allowed biome tags used by plots, but (unsurprisingly) those aren't recognised by the game and caused redscreen errors.
I don't know if you remember any way to restrict this parcel from certain biomes? Or if you till have the SDK installed to fix it?
What plot and parcel or PCP was it?
I just loaded into one that is definitely the map in the third screenshot. Debugger's "Show Map" button says it's Dense_LgObj_Voz_1C
And when I looked at it I remembered I actually played on it earlier in the playthrough too.
So... I can confirm that this map mod does work with WotC, but it crashed my game twice, but it's not a huge deal as you can just turn the mod off for that one mission it doesn't work on, then turn it back on when you're done
Each run has 50+ hours in it, probably more. I don't have a photographic memory, but I know I played on the same maps over and over and I feel like I should recognize a new map when I see one. I'm not 100% sure, but I really don't think any of these map mods are working
Maybe I'm not as attentive as I think and they ARE working, I don't know. I don't think they are.
And I don't think I've seen a single one of those maps in my game either
Also, I don't think I ever saw a single map from this mod in my game. The map I thought was Slums was likely just a regular map that looked sunsetty thanks to More Environmental Lighting Maps by ∑3245.
@Dragon32, I figured the console wouldn't help as I couldn't even load into the map. I tried it on the mission planning screen, though. I don't know if that helps, but with Vozati's mod on, when I clicked "Show Map" on the Squad Select screen's console debugger, it says _Ravine_MdObj_Voz_1C
When I load the same game without Vozati's mod, that same thing says _Sabotage_MdObj_Stream instead
Plot Type is Wilderness, Biome Type is Tundra, if that helps any
If you didn't know (and can load the mission) there's the console command X2DebugMap , you can use that to get the plot name and the parcels in use.
And it worked. No crashes. So hopefully that means everything works now for whatever reason and it will stay that way

Game crashes during the load.
When I toggle off just this one mod, the map/mission loads fine, so I'm pretty certain it's this mod's fault - everything else works other than this one issue
I refuse to give up on this mod though, and will assume this is just an unfortunate one-off, so I'll toggle the mod off for now, finish this mission, and then turn it back on and hope the awesome maps in those screenshots show up eventually and don't crash my game
If it crashes again, and I isolate the issue to this mod again, I'll report back
You are describing an abandoned city plot type, which this mod does not include any of.

Not sure if it's this mod or LWOTC, but those are the only mods I use.
