@Tim_ i always see you posting that message on a lot of mod pages. Is there any way that I could know what mods that you used so that I can gauge compatibility with an even larger number of mods?

I just completed a WOTC campaign with 104 mods including this one. It all went well.

I sometimes wonder what universe the QA people live in, who approve this kind of BROKEN.

Thanks so much for fixing an annoyance!

Does this work for the UI in the character pool creator?

What about the camera vibration effect at the loot screen after a mission? That one always makes me a bit ill.

Now you just need to find the one for the Sectopod sound in game which distorts the UI... I havent found anything in the INI files for that. But it's less annoying than the menus, and it still brings some sort of terror so i didnt bother removing it. I think some grenades also do it.
Toxic Frog  [author] 11 Sep, 2017 @ 12:30pm
Yes I updated it after :)
macelharen 11 Sep, 2017 @ 12:21pm
cheers, and thx for updating description. *hopes it was updated AFTER i asked. lol*
Toxic Frog  [author] 11 Sep, 2017 @ 12:03pm
Yes it works without Wotc
Dragon32 11 Sep, 2017 @ 10:13am
@macelharen:
This is a very simple mod that only modifies an ini setting
Based on that I think it will probably work with base game too. Always worth double-checking that the mod's INI layout matches that in the base game. Only seen one mess-up like that, and it was in XComGame.int

legacy version?

The conspiracy theorist in me given XCOM2's shaky performance at launch always wondered if Firaxis put this feature in as a last ditch effort to mask poor performance, esp on consoles and then sold it as an "action-feature". They didn't have to do lip-sync for the tactical map talking heads either. :)

Ya that Reaper overlay is kind of a pain, not one of my fav effects.
Deagroth 11 Sep, 2017 @ 1:09am
Ah ok, thank you for the quick response.
Toxic Frog  [author] 11 Sep, 2017 @ 1:07am
@Deagroth Moslty when selecting research. It's also used during screen transition, and finally sectopods stomping.
teh1archon 11 Sep, 2017 @ 12:57am
Is it a bug fix or shader tuning?
Coffeecoffee 11 Sep, 2017 @ 12:56am
Is there something you can do to remove the green screen overlay when a Reaper is selected?
Deagroth 11 Sep, 2017 @ 12:43am
When does this come into play? I can't recall any distortion effects off the top of my head.
