better if the effect be change to as normal squad concealment.

can't tell the difference when reaper been revealed.

@Firelink It's not possible with this mod.
As to know if that's possible at all, I don't know. There's probably a good reason why I didn't remove that line at the time though.

First off, wonderful mod, the overlay is obnoxious. So thank you for publishing it. That said, is there no way to get rid of the green box part of the overlay? Like the green horizontal lines right next to the enemy in your before and after photo?

@KubaFKubaF: Reapers, along with Templars and Skirmishers, do NOT appear in the base XCOM 2 game. This is for WotC only.

Sadly does not remove concealment effect on non-wotc game (I did change the config value to false). Is there another mod for vanilla?

I'm using this in LWotC and the darkening effects get correctly removed but the Reaper overlay and Vektor targeting still persist on the false setting.

While I haven't found an outright fix for the "Astral" issue, I have found a quick fix sort of. If you save and immediately load that save with the issue in effect, it will fix it. It's not perfect but it's something.

For me it was the throwing knives from Musashi's mods (stealth overhaul etc). After unequipping them from my reaper bug dissapeared.

I can confirm Astral's issue as well on my side. Maybe conflict with RPGO in regards to the vektor?

Hi im here to comment and agree that this mod doesnt fix "Astral" bug. IF anyone know whats messing this up or fix this please I want to know. Maybe its one of the mods or mods fixing Reapers concealment. I cannot used one single Reaper till this bug is fix cause it annoys tf out of me.

Just another question i forgot: if anything bad (like the bug other user commented), and i need to uninstall it, do i need to follow a special process, or turning it off would be enough?

i made a mistake with another mod (used a soldier skin for vanilla xcom rather than the wotc version, and then after i disabled it, and used the right one, i kept playing; i have experienced since then some minor graphical bugs, which dont break the game, but may be a bit annoying sometimes)

@Astral Never experienced this bug. You could try to set ReaperScopeEffect to false (or to true if it was already false), cf mod's description for more details.

@Toxic Frog somehow the mod doesnt work for me even though I have subscribed and checked everything. I even turned everything to false. I am having problem of the reaper zoom stays after firing resulting in a small circle left on my screen with the rest dimmed. As shown in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDXEjF4hUOI&t=1s

Doesn't seem to work for non-reaper soldiers using Vektor rifles, and doesn't seem to 100% work with reapers since TLP update.

great mod. would be cool to have the regular concealment halo on the reaper, because he sometimes loses shadow and I dont notice. but still fantastic

Ty for this it did work for my reaper but now any other unit that i have that can stealth gets the scope thing like Greslin.. Not sure what going on but never had that issue and I just had a fresh install.

@Lost_Luna Hey, while this mod does nothing to the Reaper's super-concealed detection distance, I do know what does: The MinSuperConcealedDistance=1.0f in any variation of the ClassData.ini file. So I'd look for that argument in the mods you have.

Hey is there anychance you could do a mod the removes the Vecktor overlay when aiming at target ive got this strange visual bug where after zooming in on target the screen stays dimmed and leaves the lit up area for the remainder of the mission it happens even in vanilla so i have no clue what is causing it.

Hey guys, I figured people interested in this mod would also be interested in this, editing the values: ShadowRollCameraDelay= and ShadowRollBlipDuration= to say 1, and 0.5 respectively reduces the amount of time the reveal roll shows up on screen, a little annoying especially when there are multiple lost too shoot at, and your reaper is the only one able to do the job :V (The values are located in the XCOMGameData_SoldierSkills.ini)

Also the overlay removal is incomplete for me, i still see the green square lines. If i fire and miss the shadow roll it shows "Revealed" like normal concealment then the shadow UI up top rolls for concealment but im already visible.

You know, I actually had to spend 30 seconds to figure the difference between the BEFORE and AFTER picture. I was so fixated on the red tiles and couldn't understand WTH this mod does! Yeah, this is before I had my first cup of coffee. :/ But now that I have, I'm totally using it! As someone said, 'When you choose reaper, it seems you blind like a mole.'

for some reason this changed my reapers detection radius from 1 block distance to something like five or six, slighltly MORE than a typical xcom charecters. Gonna see if there is a conflcit or whats up.

Also, anyone know where to change Shadow discovery distance from enemies modifiers in the INI files? I think standing right next to the reaper is too high. I think it should be at least 4-5 tiles.
