Yeah, I saw the note about the save rework, so I figured I'd wait for that to make a new world.
And just maybe learn as much as I could about how Crystals work....of all things.
Made some interesting discoveries so far.

So you don't think a mass killing spree will do the trick for spawning new ships?
Did get some from a shady dealer hit-job, that was interesting.

as to when i have unfortunatly no idea, but i dont think it will break any ships. Maybe some weapons will be rebalanced or removed like in case of this ships pulse lasers. They will still work ingame but maybe different or wont be available to assign after researching the hull. In my case i just want to wait and see how the new beams work, they may need more space for the same strength then the old ones.

If you cant find the other ships, i recommend starting a new game from scratch, so you have a better chance for them to spawn. In your old game most of the ships are spawned already as standart models, only a few will respawn as workshop ships in time.

However you may also wait for the next patch before starting new game. As i understand, the old saves will be incompatible after the next patch.

And will it break all the ships I'm subbed to now?

Also, this defiant is the only one of your ships that I've found in game so far.
I'm a bit of a collector. so...I wanna catch em all.
Am I doing something wrong, or do I just need to clear my world of old ships in a massive purge?

Thank you, right now i am waiting for the new patch with the beam weapons rework, bacause i dont want to redo all the ship interiors again. But i will definetly release a big mod with a lot of Star Trek ships aftre that.

Really beautiful work. I used to play Star Trek: Armada 2, this ship brings back memories from that. Can't wait till you add more, I'll definetly be subscribing to them.

in fact i did already and they are quite good looking as well;) I am working on a big star trek related mod right now. Maybe in 1-2 month i will release everything, when it is at a point, where i want it to be.

Nice ship. Could you do a few ship from Star Trek? Maybe not the huge ones, but more iconic yet manageable ones like Intrepid class or Bird of Prey?

i have the same problem sometimes. I think beam emiters are still work in progress. Hopefully it is going to be better with the next patch.

If you mean the torpedo launchers, they dont require mounting as well. You can use them with "e" key

You are probably speaking of beam phaser banks. Just use the "r" key to switch inbetween. They are integrated into the design, so you dont have to mount anything on them.

um you have a gunner with link to something in the rear ... oh ok reading you comment as i type :P ok i havnt used energy weapons yet but thanks for the info .. i am still trying to get used to the ship building aspect of the game. Only have 105 hours right now game time. Still a noob.

thanks, i am glad that you like it, it was a lot of work. But what do you mean by "back turrets"? This ship has only 4 turret mounts for the puls laser turrets, they are facing the front. In the back you can use the beam "phaser", but you probably should rewire it first to the main cockpit. Then you can switch between puls and beam phasers with "r" key. You can also use torpedos in the back. Fell free to optimize the inner design if you like, i think it is not optimal yet.

uumm your back turrets what are they????? i cannot assign any guns to them. Whats the point of the gunner if his guns cannot be assigned? i am confussed still learning the game and ship parts.

Also the repairbay position and your mid thrusters could use some position changes but overall great ship.

OMG this ship took for ever to get it is brutal went through 5 ships just to cripple the sucker!! Tore through the middle of her just to slow her down. But she is finally mine! Doing final repairs then its fun time:) Nice recreation dude.
