Although I don´t like bullfighting, I'm from Seville where La Maestranza is, so...

Interesting, this mod along with the 'alen artifact' are the only two mods that I cannot get to populate on my mods list in the game after the last update.

Good mod, good balance (if its only the city it is at) and good picture description. Thumbs up!

I live in Seville near the Maestranza and I can tell you that La Maestranza isn't the oldest.

Well the sources that I've been using have told me otherwise

La Maestranza isn't the oldest bull ring in Spain, it is one of the most important but it isn`t the oldest. For example there is one in a village of Salamanca from the XVII century.

Archaeology is the correct period for La Maestranza, as construction only began in the 18th century

Archaeology seems much too recent. Bullfighting is an ancient art, originating from Crete, where the minoans fought bulls long before colosseum, indeed long before Rome was even founded!
Historically, something like Animal Husbandry would be correct, but it might be too early for a game... Maybe including it with some other entertainment or constuction tech would be better?

Ah, sorry, I mis-read that. You are correct that Le Maestranza is the oldest Bull Ring (not building) in Spain.

"La Maestranza is the oldest Bullring in Spain, not Building

He may be right but you've both misread the description. Also I'm not sure whether an aqueduct would count as a building or not.

OuCH is right, I remember the aqueduct of Segovia being older.
Pd: Yes, I am spanish :)

The oldest building in Spain is not 130 years old. It might be 2300 years old...

I visited Spain 2 months ago. I was told the oldest Bullring is in Ronda. Seems it is the oldest one still in operation.....ah..anyway...

I remember Whoward (or something like that) had a mod to give Spain a bullring instead of a coluseum. With that in mind, what would you think of making this +3 Happiness and a free theatre?

Finally another wonder my country has built :)
