Mod "works" the Mothership can move, but there are multiple issues with the mod, some levels like Diamond Shoals will break if you move the Mothership and the Bentusi will not spawn or hyperspace will not be enabled at the end of a mission if you move, the other issue being that enemy fleets would not move at all and would statically stay in place and not move (this might be because they were coded to assault the Mothership and don't know what to do when it moves, this was very apparent on Hiigara), the Taiidan fleets would spawn and not move, and Captain Elson did not hyperspace in.

Yeah, unfortunately this does not work with the player's patch because the game crashes when loading the next level. Any chance of this getting updated?

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, but if it is a compatibility issue, it would be awesome to have a version of this that works with that mod.

For some reason this doesn't work for me. I played the first two missions and couldn't issue movement commands. If it matters, I'm using the 2.3 player's patch. Which for me is primarily to disable difficulty scaling.

Ye to be fair i did want to move it around in the first campaign.

Yes, don't worry, everyone knows that. This is just a mod I made for someone who wanted to be able to move the mothership ;-)

The asteroid missions purpose in the campaign is to challenge you to protect your vunerable mothership.

Hmmm strange, I'll look into it...

Oh sorry, well I select the mothership during the campaign and try to set a marker for it to move too but it just doesn't does so.
I have tried installing the mod several times, at least I think I did but nothing happens.

That's interesting, I never had that comment before. In what way does it not work? Does the game crash or you just don't see any effect?
TheDutchGhost 26 Jun, 2018 @ 12:52pm
Well so far it doesn't work for me

@Lord Horu$:

Oops, maybe you'e right... has been a long time since then, and maybe I rather remembered the skirmish-mode there.

@Rvdy7 All mods do something that the game didnt intend, thats what they are for, to bring something new. Weve all played through without movement for mothership, now we can, its something different.

@ShadowDragon_79: No they were not!
If you attempt to move the Mothership, the fleet-command will say "Drives offline!"!

I dont understand why you cant just move it anyway??? without this mod
ShadowDragon_79 4 Jan, 2018 @ 10:15am
@Rvdy7:

They were working in the original Homeworld 1 campaign.
Firestorm🗿 3 Jan, 2018 @ 7:32am
either that or it crashes the game.

I think flying the mothership towards the ghost ship would not make it come under enemy control as it has not been coded to happen.
Rvdy7 28 Dec, 2017 @ 3:29pm
But why? Disabling Mothership engines was intentional, as it was not finished, according to campaign. Enabling movement is like using a cheats -> play for win, not for fun.

this is a straight up skip for mission 15 haha
spoonfrog  [author] 10 Dec, 2017 @ 11:40am
No idea! Try it and see what happens!
Rixton 10 Dec, 2017 @ 7:19am
What if it moves too close to the Ghost ship?
spoonfrog  [author] 14 Sep, 2017 @ 2:02pm
Yes, that's what the screenshot is showing... You can now move the Kushan mothership during the HW1 campaign missions.
Blazin Hazen 14 Sep, 2017 @ 10:36am
Yep!
Aymeric 14 Sep, 2017 @ 10:28am
Dose this really work?
