This mod is just a script that alters how the gun works.
Exactly! :D Poor chap won't know what hit him.
lol nope. *BOOM*
Okay so I stared at your comment for a little while trying to figure out how to respond.
Do you know what this mod is? It's a script to change the way the Magnum (Desert Eagle) works in game. Specifically, it turns the Desert Eagle into a 5-round .500 Magnum. So yes, you will, by definition, have only five rounds per magazine. But it will also substantially increase damage, penetration, and accuracy.
Basically, your gun will work entirely different with this script installed. :)
So, the host's scripts are the ones that all clients will end up playing with. If you have this script mod installed, but you aren't the host, then the host's scripts will overwrite yours, which is why scripts don't work online.
Also, yes. Conflicting scripts could cause problems. Make sure you only have one mod installed that alters the Desert Eagle. You can make extra sure by checking for any mods with red text inside your in-game addon list.
It's a bit convoluted and complicated, but once you get the hang of it, it's very useful. I recommend Googling it if you get stuck, or ask me if that fails. I don't mind helping. :)
Personally, I don't mind the reload animation glitch much, and prefer it because of the slightly faster reload. If you want, you can manually edit my mod after subscribing to it, and reset the reload speed.
The reason the reload doesn't glitch when the gun has an empty clip is because the Magnum has a longer reload when fully empty.
Do you want me to put the reload speed back to where it was?
The glitch part make it reload quicker when there still some shot so redo the animation for 1s but didn`t effect the empty clip reload.(for some reason)
Fun fact: the redo animation make me feel abit more clumsy like the survivor didn`t reaload it fully or like the cs:go reload system.
That reload glitch happens with some of my scripts, and I know why. I sped up the reload with many of my scripts, and some weapon models don't like that. I think they play their original reload, theh suddenly have to catch up when the faster reload is finished. It only happens with some weapons/mod models though.
5 shot that will mostly insta-kill everything and the weapon model got a delay animation through every shot that match the delay on every shot.
(the only thing that glitch out is the reload animation wonder cause the longer reload time)
Wonder is that coincident or something?
The model i use
