Thanks Kasper for the tip about saving and re-loading - that fixed the wheelslip and I was able to continue. That aside, rather an enjoyable drive - thanks RRS!

This is impossible the wheel spin is as comment says below totally unrealistic, i emptied sandbox trying to stop it slipping no effect what so ever coasted from 140k an hour to zero stopped in tunnel. Not your usual high standard. sorry

hm, ... the wheelspin-simulation in this scenario is unrealistic. The throttle of 5% and sanders is in function, - the train stopped in the tunnel from Altona and slide backwards! Sorry, - i have not idea...
best regards MO

It looks like this would have been a good scenario, except I abandoned it because of the excessive and unrealistic wheel slip, even at 1% throttle after coasting and with the sanders on continuously.

As below. I slowed to a stop then went backwards. Sand should have solved the problem. For that reason I did not like this scenario much.

Wheel Slip made me come to a stand still inside a tunnel 5 km from Altena and then I slid backwards.

Can i be you friend please

Nice scenario but as reported before there is a problem with the wheel spin simulation. I was getting wheel spin with 1% throttle and using the sand feed. To solve the problem I had to save the game and then restore it.
