Lots of older packs have been re-released using the new 'cooked' method which drastically reduces filesizes (and thus load times). I've removed over 4gb of load from the collection.
- Removed about 15 packs which were more limited.
- Added about 25, all recent mods during 2020.
About 30 new packs added over the last few months.
If you happen to have an operative assigned to the voicepack, he or she will simply default to American English 1.
If you re-enable the mod at a later date, then the game will remember and re-equip the pack on your operative who had it previously. This is also true for the Character Pool.
I asked this in another forum but didn't get a response. Since I am new to modding, it is ok to add voice packs mid campaign right? I am assuming it is but I would like to double check.
I would even guess it doesn't matter if it is WoTC or regular XCOM 2.
Removed about 18 packs, mostly more monotone packs which I was constantly passing over.
Added about 12 packs, mostly Cap'n Rum content like GTA and Dirty Bomb.
Oh and Dr. Thrax. For the toxin lulz, GENERAL.
About 15 new packs. Also reworked the collection description.
If you are using the Star Wars pack, I recommend stripping out the gibberish alien voices which add 1 GB of bloat.
Removed approx 40 voicepacks, mostly the bloated collection packs.
Added around 25, mostly Psycho's work of unique / dark voices and some interesting Japanese anime (nothing high-pitched, mostly Tsundre under stress).
