fortis didn't use soul gem while sword dance.
she only use the blade. so I dont need to upgrade soul gem. I only use basic soul gem
is it right?
my Ranger can use dual blade but fortis can't i dont know why

This is the case if the fragcannon has no ammo left but when you try to reload it will show you have enough ammo.

To reload the fragcannon, you must equip a heavy weapon that has a limited number of uses, such as a shredding gun, and reload after using it.
This will reload the fragcannon and Shredder Guns together.

started a new campaign with your class mod and my soldiers weren't getting any AP on promotion, so i went digging around the xcomclassdata.ini for your classes and others to compare and finally found the problem; if u set bAllowAWCAbilities to 0 they don't benefit from combat intelligence or get AP, so i set that to 1 and blocked the AWC in the xcomgame.ini like this:

Is there a internal unit class name for those class? When I was using WOTC Team Crafter mod. I did not got the right class I wanted which ended up with the random classes.

I do have one question and a statement. I really do like this mod its a bit weird but overall fun to me so great job my dude. As for the question is it possible to add Templar gauntlets to the Fortis Magi? I do think it would also be a good fit especially since they have a focus mechanic

Sorry to keep you waiting so long everyone. I found out about 3 months ago that the Bowcaster's 'Guided Arrow' wasn't working, but I couldn't figure out why it was causing the problem.

and. I finally figured out the cause. 'Ability To Slot Reassignment ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2133397762 )' will disable some of the skills of some added weapon categories instead of significantly lowering your item inventory restrictions.

have identified the cause of the problem, so I uploaded a modified Bowcaster version today. Now that problem won't happen.

the fortis does not use the primary sword animations so runs around with a melee weapon but acts like they have a gun. is this normal?

@Kiryuu Sorta, You can't give the Perks to an RPGO Soldier but the Puella's can be akin to a Hero Unit

so, i just recently had a male character with the Fortis Magi tree of skills, and i basically made his backstory that the reason he has those powers is due to his daughters "wish" when she was taken to be used as a child soldier by advent, which the man later went out of his way to seek out a way to bring her back using the powers his daughter was kind enough to give him.

he just wants his daughter back, even if he must go to war and blow up everything to do so. 10/10 would do again. on that note though, any chance you'll ever make it so this and your ADVENT Puella Magi class mod have a special function when used together, where you can recruit captured advent puella magi?

Just a note: You gave the +3 Mobility to Magnetic tier amp twice, but not one for Beam tier, and also none of my magi seem to be able to have the option to equip the beam tier amp.

Perhaps as an alternative to the trait below they can enter that dazed state that The chosen put people in, and then you have one turn (or more with possible GTS/class upgrade?) to take them out of it before they go nuclear. Or perhaps allow something like putting the girl in Stasis with another Psi-Op or someone like that, which can be a good late-game synergy.

I mean, its not very fair for me to set an overwatch trap, kill all but the one sectoid, and then have it panic my girl and wipe my squad right after a Chosen turns up, right?

Don't get me wrong, the mod is fantastic, I just seem to have the bad luck of constantly rolling "void" or "answer" most of the time. One of which is a lot more useful than the other, lol

is the "void" wish skill supposed to make the magical girl with it so unusable? I get the idea behind it, but it honestly feels like wasted potential. Every time it shows up, the soldier is basically useless because many psi skills she has rely on will, and -100 will means mind control / dominate / communicator may as well be empty skill slots. Then she's near-guaranteed to panic when enemies show up unless she has a mindshield.

Maybe there could be a trade-off to having a void-wish magical girl? Like, the will loss and high chance of panic are still there so it's very risky, but instead of mind-control type abilities she gains access to "dark" magic skills from the Necromancer class (eg, poison, soul-steal, zombies everywhere, basically she's a magical edgelord)

Perhaps a magical girl faction would (as part of their sitrep) have special enemy types that are in added pods that have enemies from their source material. Or a sitrep of the source material enemies are most efficently taken out by the magical girls due to both the enemy and girl's skills/traits. Asuka demonstrates this concept well as, while conventional military and sometimes magically trained military are capible of taking out the enemy, a magical girl does so much more quickly and effectively.

Another suggestion for this, or possibly my previous suggestion, would be a magical girl faction that you can seek help from like the Rising Tides: The Program mod. If not for magical girls, I do think the option to call in support from a special faction for a mission is an interesting mechanic and adding more allied factions is a something that isn't added enough in the current enviroment of mods.

Now I'm starting to wonder if the Disas could be enemies. Would be odd in XCOM fighting evil teddy bears, but then again if Venom can be an enemy...

There's also an issue with the Puella Magi. Specifically overwatch. Sometimes they'll take a shot and the slow-mo goes on forever. I think what happens is that it conflicts with the reaction fire and the game can't process 2 shots from the same unit at the same time.

Also odd thing about the ascetic's ammo. Normal shots uses 2 ammo, but an overwatch only uses one. Also overwatch shots can miss, but it's not clear by what odds.

Why do you need to kill the zombie? I've had missions end with the zombie still alive. (Though sadly this does not resurrect your fallen puella)

Maybe they should be a zombie that works on the turn of the resistance. On missions where they die and become a zombie it tends to be RIP squad. Needing to wait around for someone to kill the zombie just slows things down after what is already a bad experience.

Every time one of my puella died, they always became a zombie under my control. I guess the idea is that it's some sort of after effect of the pact for magic powers. Though I hate how it seems they die easier than basic soldiers, it is cool to hold back their killer as a zombie to support the team

Mine also used 2 ammo per shot. Don’t know about reloading though. She died before she needed to. Which brings up my question, is the psi zombie that happens when they die meant to be on your side? Mine was on my side.

I had a problem with Ascentic Magi where they couldn't reload even with full focus. The game seemed to think they had a full clip instead of an empty one. Also each regular shot cost 2 ammo, dunno if that's intentional. I don't know if the alien nest in the alien rulers dlc had something to do with it, but it happened there all the same.

@Neo Pacifist Weapon: if youre using the RPGO and Commander's Choice, the Puella Magi selections will be available as an alternative to promoting a rookie to the 'Soldier' class.
