Thanks for the response- but considering you uninstalled the SDK, Don't worry about it, unless others comment and ask for it to be fixed as well, I'd say.

It'd be a fairly easy fix I think, but I'd have to reinstall the SDK, then dig up the project files and recompile + reupload. Honestly I'm not sure it's worth the hassle.

Heyo! I noticed something while playing with the mod, Whenever your character with the turian B voice kills a hostile (Unsure about just hitting.) they make a gurgle sound as if they were the one to just get injured, I don't know how easy a fix it would be, as I'm sure you'd have to find a different voice line to replace it. But it kind of throws me off hearing my soldier 'die' when he isn't.

I have downloaded it. Thanks very much

I can't, because I have no idea why you wouldn't have permissions nor am I aware of any download permission settings for mods. I haven't touched the settings for this since I submitted it to the workshop. :conwayheadscratch:

Try again later, if you haven't already. It's probably a temporary issue on Steam's backend or something weird. :conwayshrug:

I tried downloading the mod and it said i do not have permission to download it. Can you fix the mod so i can download it.?

I could certainly try. I think I actually have some of them sectioned off already, I just never really bothered to go through them properly. I've been busy going through Halo voicefiles lately.

@Arcalane np! thanks for reply

They should, but the mod was made with the War of the Chosen SDK which apparently isn't 100% backwards-compatible for some reason. :conwayshrug:

Does this work with long war 2? for some reason I just cant get these lines to work, whenever I click "preview" on turian voice 1 or 2, nothing happens.

Sadly, I don't think there is any magic solution to sort out the files, I did what you did, I listened to the sounds & tried to compare them with what I could hear and remember from the game, that's how it works with DLCs. Dunno if you tried to get into ME2 sounds, but man, I would even say it's relaxing compared to what we have to do to get ME3 DLCs lines :steamhappy:

@Lost_Luna: could use the Turian-sounding voicepack for some with their helmets on.

Nice. Wish we had a source for some female turian voices, i've got like five Turian girls all relying on Nyreen Kandros voice atm.

Interesting. I noticed something vaguely similar when I was pulling geth lines from DLC4 - there was one deeper set that I used for the Prime, and a louder, sharper set that I didn't end up using at the time.

Unfortunately I haven't actually been able to get very much useful information on which lines belong to which character in the first place. I basically have to guess based upon my own MP experience (like I can identify that roaring krogan laugh a mile away).

If you have any suggestions or pointers for getting better filenames/identifying information from the files, I'd love to hear it. I'm thinking of tackling quarians next, and I'd also like to figure out which of these voices is actually used for the female turian. Unfortunately MP4 added over a dozen new species/class combos in the end, so there's something like 2400+ lines in that DLC alone.

Hey, good luck with MP voice lines ! I'm done with modding but I'm willing to share what I've learned exploring MP voice files, maybe you will find something useful !
So basic characters have 2 different voice actors/actresses each. I mean Asari (whether they are Vanguard or Adept) have 2 different voices (randomly assigned when starting a multiplayer game.) Meaning you can have voice A or B with the Vanguard or voice A or B with the Adept.
The same goes for the Turians soldiers & sentinel. Concerning the Havoc, they use the same voice lines from the basic Turians only with a slight filter added to them.
Also, the female Turian use one of the N7 Shadow voice with a filter added to it, so now you can notice Bioware got lazy for last MP DLC :)
