Well I think the curvature of the land in reference to the middle and the zepplin pretty much clue you in to where you're at. I didn't have any issues conceptualizing where I was at.

Hmm.. I need it more as a landmark that covers a lot of the screen so it doesn't slow down performance Field of View wise. I had nothing but swampland in one build lol and that's just a bad idea. Landmarks are important lol.

Well you could do the trick of an image plane for the castle if it's far enough away.

Both pretty gewd ideas. Admittedly there should be an additional effect on the island to signify it, but I was hoping the super contasty yellowness of the tree's center would draw people to it. I should probably pick a different sound for the center as well, because it is cearly too subtle lol. I wish I was able to add a lot more detail to the environment, but it dropped the performance when I had more than what it has now. I tried adding a castle to the background instead of all mountain and that killed the fps!

A great little map. You should add some particle effect, and/or maybe some low subtle sound effect to that mana effect so you know that something is happening when you get close to it. I only knew it was going to give me mana, because I remember the Kismet for it on the forums. XD

lol @Shaximilion I did grandfather that part of the description from my map contest map. At the time it seemed like the most appropriate way to get players to notice the text that would guide them to playing my level in Dungeon Defenders. Steam has made it even easier to download and play maps now though so maybe I'll fix it just for yo' Gradvius! ;)
