Is this Definitive Edition compatible?

Unlocks the level 4 skills but that's it.

Hi,
I seem to have found a buig in this mod. When enabled new items like scrolls, runes, and other items that you pick up are put on your hotbar even if you have that disabled in the game options. I have been trying to figure out why this was happening for the longest time and did not really want to go though each of my many mods individually to do so until today when I just got fed up with it. Now, to see it happen you have to disable all of your mods and just turn this one on and off because for some reason other mods can make this bug keep bugging your hotbar. Could the author please look into this? Thanks.

Just a minor issue, with the mod enabled, Chamleon Skin isn't avaliable during char gen.
Dr Fro 7 Oct, 2017 @ 1:44am
@Willowblade
This mod seems to break mods like Fast Casting and Source mods like SourceSkillsFree.
I think as u said it might be the "All Items Stats issue" u mentioned.
So Im currently using SkilledUp mod to cheat my way to the spellbooks - but it is a much bigger cheat than ur mod.
demi 30 Sep, 2017 @ 7:41am
hi can you help me with something to make my own mod?
I am trying to edit the arena master's gear
I understood that I go to treasure tables, but it just says that the object category he uses is "T_TraderEquipment" I have no idea how to edit its content though
Willowblade  [author] 29 Sep, 2017 @ 6:44am
Larian is issuing a hotfix this weekend and a big patch later down the road. I'll look into what might be causing you guy's issues later, and make my mod affect skillbooks only instead of being the stats for all items. Thanks all for your comments!
Seleck 28 Sep, 2017 @ 5:24pm
this mod disables the mods that stop items from beign add to the hotbar
Grey 28 Sep, 2017 @ 3:32pm
@Nito I gave it 10 minutes to load and it doesn't even take half a minute to load a save normally. I have the game on SSD also.
Seleck 27 Sep, 2017 @ 5:30pm
@22nd_Grey just give it sometime, some mods take a while the first time you load them into an existing save
Grey 27 Sep, 2017 @ 3:19pm
Can't load save game with this mod toggled on. Loading the save works fine with this mod toggled off.
Vizze 26 Sep, 2017 @ 12:22pm
Any way of getting curse from this? Would like it early :P
ZincKobold 24 Sep, 2017 @ 6:23pm
Noctus, all mods that affect storyline disable achievements.

The mods that affect GM mode seem to not, as they do not activate in the storyline mode, but any modifcation that is active in storyline disables achievements.
Noctus 24 Sep, 2017 @ 3:36pm
do mods like this disable achievements?
SteelReserve 24 Sep, 2017 @ 1:04pm
It also is not working for me. Tested with this mod alone.
Willowblade  [author] 24 Sep, 2017 @ 11:24am
I'll look into it! Seems weird that a patch'd break this though.
papiko 24 Sep, 2017 @ 11:22am
Maybe because the new patch? Anyway tried to disable all other mods and start a new game, still didnt work for me.
SeekerSV 24 Sep, 2017 @ 6:44am
does not work(

Echo you probably need to refresh the vendor's stock by either waiting (an hour?) or getting a level up
Johnny Sins 23 Sep, 2017 @ 7:04am
dude this would be a sweet mod
papiko 23 Sep, 2017 @ 6:43am
Just started a new game and go checked the vendors, not working.
Echo 23 Sep, 2017 @ 4:51am
Scratch that, looks like the game doesn't copy them from the workshop folders to the Mods folder. I got it activated now, but it doesn't seem to work. I've got a save 2 mins before Butters' inventory refresh and the only skills he's got are the one for my level.
Echo 23 Sep, 2017 @ 2:17am
No matter what I do, I can't seem to get the game to see this mod. It doesn't appear in the list of mods to enable.

@reffy nearly every game has a consistent progression implemented so expecting instant gratification because you paid for it certainly doesn't seem reasonable especially when you can experience the full game you paid for if you just play the game. I understand opting to have access the skillbooks but not just for the sake "i paid for it"
Bruh 22 Sep, 2017 @ 10:42am
@Willowblade Butter and Bahara or w/e the lizard at the seeker camp is called
Reffy 22 Sep, 2017 @ 9:26am
The last question at the FAQ though; It's not balanced and fun, you're still in someway blocking of content. I rather go for other mods instead.
Reffy 22 Sep, 2017 @ 9:23am
I agree with Wauthan here. I didn't like it in the first game and I don't like it now.
Want to have access to all the cool stuff, so I can experience the full game I paid for.
Wauthan 22 Sep, 2017 @ 7:34am
Glad you shared this mod. Hate it when RPG games does this sort of thing. Rewards powerleveling which sort of discourages actually roleplaying your character.
Ingvaer 22 Sep, 2017 @ 6:17am
Butter is the vendor in fort joy as far as i know and the elf you meet at the entrance of the seeker camp is another huntsman skillbook seller
Willowblade  [author] 22 Sep, 2017 @ 1:43am
@Bruh, who's the vendor?
Bruh 21 Sep, 2017 @ 10:19pm
Seems to be working for everything but huntsman for me
Ducimo 21 Sep, 2017 @ 11:10am
Thanks. This is one thing I greatly disagree with Larian on. I like when spells and abilities aren't out in the world, but rather listed in some menu. No game should allow a player to miss out on a possible ability.

Simple mod but such a good idea. The default level gating for skillbooks makes 0 sense and breaks so much the creativity in early game. I gonna try a run of the game with that mod and have a lot of fun for sure :)

Talked to new vendors I've never spoken to before and the skillbooks aren't showing up. Maybe it requires actually leveling, or loading a new area?
Reffy 20 Sep, 2017 @ 3:21am
I always found not having the ability to choose from all skills annoying. Looking forward to a mod that changes that. Right now I'm using Cheat Chest mod.
Willowblade  [author] 19 Sep, 2017 @ 4:42pm
Updated the mod with a little FAQ and I hope a more clear description.

I haven't played the game enough to know all the vendors in the game, but I hope it's more clear now. Thunderwave's author, Brojisan, added me to hopefully resolve the issue some of you are facing.
TôoEaśY 19 Sep, 2017 @ 2:28pm
Seems to work with no issues at the moment! Thanks!
Whiskeyjoel 18 Sep, 2017 @ 4:34pm
Just an FYI, there are some strange and buggy interactions between this mod and the "Thunderwave Skill" mod. If you start a new game with a custom character, the game loads to a black screen. If you start a new game with an Origin character, the intro screen will load, but your character will be unable to move. I tested this thoroughly, and every time, if I had one of either of the mods active, game is fine. With both mods active, I had the above results, and could reproduce the bug 100% of the time
Bomjus 18 Sep, 2017 @ 4:29pm
so just to clarify using an example: with your mod, nebora the summoner vendor, will still have the same number of skillbooks available (i think it's just 4 at the start?) but they have a chance to be higher level summoning skills? or is it higher level skills of ANY school? or are the books still from the same school the vendor is tied to?

i would add an example of how your mod interacts with a vendor so people get a clearer idea of what it really does. the wording of the current description makes it seem like a hydrophist vendor will draw skillbooks from all skill schools, unless that's intended.
Willowblade  [author] 18 Sep, 2017 @ 4:15pm
Wait for the vendor refresh and see if you have better luck with the skillbooks?
shadowrem3 18 Sep, 2017 @ 6:25am
Hi, it doesn't seem to work for me, leveled up and vendor still sells early tier skills
Willowblade  [author] 17 Sep, 2017 @ 4:39pm
It doesn't show every skill at the vendor but it should show a lot more higher level skills than it did before. The vendor's assortment will still depend on random pickings between the skills :)
Exaust 17 Sep, 2017 @ 4:34pm
I added the mod and activated in game but i don't see every skills at the vendor :/
Should i do something else ?

Hey Christian,

While I haven't tested compatibility with other skill mods at this point, I can imagine things going wrong. Have you tried both loading orders?
