@MrBananaClipps I would assume the grenades lack of environment damage would be the reason it doesn't cause fire.

How did you get this to work without causing fire everywhere? I am trying to make the tactical x4 act like a breaching charge but after every explosion the building completely catches fire

Just finished a campaign with about 280 mods, this one included, and had no major issues! Thanks for putting this up.

Thank you so much for that! I've just released my version.
RealityMachina  [ophavsmand] 13. okt. 2020 kl. 18:30
That's fine.

@RealityMachina: I made a version of AP Grenades Redux intended to be used with LWOTC; single builds, no eating of the AP Grenades once Alloy Grenades are built, plus a few more customizable features. Would it be okay if I released it? I'll give you credit, of course.

I've had the same experience as Beagle. These can still penetrate low cover, sometimes even when they're not highlighted.

Will this be adding a Tier 3 AP grenade soon or no?
Beagle 9. apr. 2019 kl. 1:04
For some reason these don't work quite right for me. It still hits people in half cover from the grenade even though there isn't a highlighted tile under them. Anyone else had a similar experience?

Does not seem to work with the grandeirs double grenade abiliity. I just seem to get 1 grenade and not 2

@RealityMachine Interesting effect with the -1 piercing. Would it be to much to ask for a mod that grant shotguns -2 piercing? -Seems more realistic.

RealityMachina

Thank you. Now all mod's is working well.

@N7Rumble

If you just updated, you need to run the game twice so the game properly updates its config files for the patch changes, then the second time will load your mods again.

I say this because nothing about the patch affected most of the mods you've commented on, and I already fixed the couple that were affected.

This mod does not work after the last update of the game. Please update this mod for [WoTC]

When I first looked at this mod, I expected something else... somehow...

What I was expecting was an anti-armour grenade - A "flechette grenade" - Basically, the grenade has the same radious as the standard frag, but has less damage potential (lower max damage, rather than lower minimum), and IS affected by the 'damage falloff' option. This drop would be compinsated by being MORE effective against armour (Shreds 1.5 per 1 damage, rather than 1 for 1).

Basically... I saw "AP" and though 'Armour Penetrating' rather than 'anti-personel'... ^^;

Note: I personally believe grenades are underpowered in general. If given the choice between standing next to an exploding grenade and a gunshot wound (in XCOM) I would pick grenade 100% of the time because grenades are soo friggen weak. In real life, peeps be beggen for a gunshot wound (given the choice) because grenades a murderbombs that know few limits. They will fill you full of shrapnel and bursts most every blood vessel in your body at close range (THAT kills most people). But eh, it's a video game, right?

These are worthless in late game. I love your mods, generally, but these are garbage grenades that don't do anything.

Late game a lot of enemies are armored. These don't destroy cover, they don't penetrate armor with concussive force, and they don't deal anything close to the amount of damage to even take out LOST. They do nothing of value!

Grenades are supposed to be these little things that you throw in a group of people and it kills them. This firecracker just startles enemies and makes them say "Ha, good thing I'm not a total vagina and didn't get scared by that small explosive that did nealry no damage to my massive life bar, thanks to my fantastic armor."

Sorry, but this mod is effectively a grenade debuff.
Arkhangel 18. sep. 2017 kl. 20:12
@!00%: no, these act how actual frag grenades do and just embed shrapnel in unarmored or lightly armored stuff. in all honestly, the standard grenades are more HIgh Explosive than Frags.

a RL frag grenade has a kill radius of three meters, which is a lot more like these Anti-Personnel grenades.

@RealityMachina One thing I noticed when using this originally was that Grenadiers with the Heavy Ordnance perk have the grenade icon modified to display two grenades in their grenade-only slot rather than one for all the base game grenades and bombs, such as frag, gas and incendiary (but not Frost, weirdly). I didn't investigate how this was implemented, so can't say whether this requires a new icon with two AP grenades for this mod to make it consistent.

I don't want to feel like I'm complaining just reporting issues or suggestions.
- I have Alloy Grenades but I dont have Plasma yet
- The INI defaults for MK2 are incorrect, theyre currently at 4 plus one 50 instead of 5 spread 1
- The AOE preview shows all tiles, not affected tiles (cancelled by being in cover)
Dragon32 18. sep. 2017 kl. 10:47
Will these automatically be affected by the "Precision Explosives" advanced option [support.feralinteractive.com]?

The pre-WoTC version of this required some INI hacking of -bg-'s "Grenades Damage Falloff" mod.

Question, is this compatible with https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1130896923 (balanced finite items). I really like that mod, but AP grenades make the game feel more LW-ish.
Dionysian Flag Waving 17. sep. 2017 kl. 22:34
Do they shred? And will their radius be further buffed in a launcher?
Arkhangel 17. sep. 2017 kl. 21:57
Awwwwwwwwww yeaaaaaaahhhh :D
