Can the author improve it to make it compatible
You can combine the file changes both mods make into one file that overwrites, you'd just need to know what mod does what so you can properly combine them. In this case, taking this mod and adding the changes from the other one would likely be the more painless one as you just need to change the "max_level =" from 24 to 56.
There are no other mods which would affect any aspect of building in the game in my playlist.
