I noticed freezing lash pulls the enemy a few tiles but with no animation, is this intended?

How do I edit the damage of Rage Strike? I tried copying the line of code you used above into the ini file and it didn't change anything

I'm finally online. I was able to frostbite a sectoid and a trooper with no visual issues. The mod correctly reported it was loaded in redscreens and the charges seem to be correct. I can't find any issues. I did however runt the game with the Visual Studio Debug tools and launched it with the OLD launcher (that was a surprise seeing that pop up). I did not test with AML, your problem *could* be with that but I doubt it. You may just have a conflict? Did you reinstall the game fresh?

2k launcher update breaking this would make sense since all the mod-infested playthroughs I did were pre-2k, most of them had this mod working fine.
OH GOD !! I hope other stuff of yours like more skirmishing is working fine lmao still installing and testing mods, so idk

From what I hear the 2k launcher was problematic (when it came out at least, maybe even now) but I was off XCOM then.
At this point I just went straight to AML, and honestly you should too

I cant even get the mods to activate properly, my installation doesnt work. This new 2K launcher does not activate my mods, and if I launch without the launcher it activates none of my mods at all and ignores all settings. I'm almost positive they broke something.

I did exactly that, no other mods and a clean user config
EDIT: and using TQL to just plop troopers with lash, SOMETIMES it doesnt hang (it didn't hang on me the single time I used a sectoid), hangs 100% using advent troopers and shiedbearers
EDIT2: only hangs on HIT, not on MISS

Have you tried a fresh game with only this mod on and then plopping a soldier with only the lash? I will do that right now to test.

I went out of my way to disable ALL mods and cleared userconfig, BUT, I don't want to leave my rather impressive stupidity out of the equation, I mighta've messed something up

Visualizer issues are not affected by this mod, i change the template but i dont change the way its displayed. Its not impossible the DLC2 got a line change that is not being digested correctly. I will glance at the mod check if i can spot anything obvious.

I was messing around with x2debugvisualizer and the hanging action is called dlc_day60freezinglashtarget. I have no idea what to do with that information so I'll leave it here lmao

right now i'm trying to keep this mod's features by looking for something else to overwrite freeze lash

Might be from newer updates, but from what I've seen no game changes have been made only launcher changes. Blame 2K? I guess?

I'm having a lot of problems with this mod, even with everything else off:

Landing a Freezing Lash outright causes the game to hang,
Icarus's range is not actually limited anyomre than vanilla?
Ragestrike is fine, somehow
Throw Axe is not ignoring cover, unless I turn off melee calc, but then it wont proc implacable and etc.

I've shut off all mods and regenerated user config, idk wth is happening since this was and is always a go-to mod for me, never happened before

after some more fiddling, it appears to only not work right in conjunction with certain character classes, so who knows what the issue is. Thank you for your time, you do some great work.

its probably an incompatibility somewhere then. Alternative mod launcher isnt picking it up, but taking your mod out of the list restores the axe throw.

Changing the charges to 2 and setting infinite to true (idk man i was just trying things to see what could work) has it working, so maybe with some fiddling i can get it just right. There was a visual que between it working or not working when i started a mission, when i tested it and it was fine and working it started the agent with two axes on his back, when not working it was just the one. Idk what that could mean but i figured i'd just report it.

If the ability is completely missing its not this mod. Putting all ; would remove all charges and such dont do it. Put the default game values and try from there. Also you need to do this BEFORE combat or it wont work.

Excuse me, I'm getting the "no throw axe" bug from a while back. I tried just adding a ; before all the axe options in config, but it did nothing. What else could i do to fix it locally?

Freezing Lash damage was fixed.

Default value:

FREEZING_LASH_DAMAGE = (Damage=3, Spread=0, PlusOne=50, Crit=1, Pierce=99, Shred=0, Rupture=1, Tag="", DamageType="Frost");

Freezing Lash has a default Crit value at 20%.

It has a 6 turn cooldown, 2 charges and you keep your charge on miss. It's extremelly powerful, i dont think it would be wise in this config to make it unlimited but you can edit it.

Please update your INI files, this wont be updated in a while from now on.

if infinit ammo are set True for the axe, the ability for throwing axe do not show up anymore ( same with the nomber of ammo above 1 )

Actually, not sure why now it also targets enemies outsite "blue" move range, someting's messed up or maybe it was related to the chosen strongold mission. Anyway, thank you for the info and a quick response. Again very cool mod you made! ^^

Its possible to make it double move slash but it would remove some of the uniqueness of the melee classes IMHO. It would also mess up severely the animations. Its doable, but its not going to be done here.

Hi, I stumbled upon your awesome mod because I noticed that ragestrike for some reason can target only enemies within "blue" movement range unlike ranger's slash, unfortunately I can't seem to figure it out myself, any chance you could help with that as you seem to have some insight?

Hi there, I have 1 question. Im doing a personal mod and I want to use the Icarus Jump like ability, but without use the Icarus Armor. The problem is the animation, how can I do the ability with the animation without equip the Icarus Armor?

To shift something from charges to cooldown, set the Cooldown of each ability to whatever non zero value you like and set the Charges to 0. It's that simple.

All my mods are not supported in wotc unless they state wotc as a dlc required. That means it can work, but i wont help you.

Many thanks for the mod. If I'm playing WotC and only looking to tweak the Rage Strike ability do you recommend using this mod and setting the other values to match vanilla? Or should I use your specific Rage Strike mod? Is it WotC compatible? Cheers.
