your welcome.
thankyou
thankyou
geneosis came up with a similar map.
I did not understand how he did it.
so I experimented in the editor & built my own.
then someone said it would be better, if it was dark.
so I made this version.
so most of the credit goes to geneosis.
& science thanks you :)
thank you.
geneosis came up with the idea.
I tried building it myself, to learn how it works.
but could not understand how his worked.
not seeing his in the editor, left unanswered questions.
so I made alterations, to get it to work.
then Reiman requested this dark version.
the things we do for science :)
I will re-test, for science :)
just tried the link.
but the page tries to load, but won't go there.
will try tomorrow.
I am having technical difficulties.
it has taken about 40 mins, to see the 1st comment left.
my internet connection is fine. so don't understand.
thankyou for the praise :)
geneosis's map, was the 1st infinity map.
I did not understand how he did it.
so experimented & did it with a different gate system.
Reiman then said it would be better dark.
so I created this version, thanks to Reiman's advice.
so the main credit for this map, goes to geneosis.
I will try to download & play your map tomorrow.
hopefully, my technical difficulties will be resolved by then.
If you get a break, could you tear down Building Geometry for me. Then I'll be able to fix it right. Thanks.
thankyou.
mine is started, but time problem & trying to work out a complex system with untested elements is even more time consuming / trail & error.
I have a map I started making using the zero gravity field.
got a square to work so far, but not using a reflector cube.
if I can get it to work, I will publish.
but time to work on it is an issue.
I'm glad you liked it.
see description for credits.
I have just subscribed to your map "back from infinity"
thankyou for giving credits to geneosis & I.
merry christmas to you as well :)
Back from Infinity (<click)
I wish you merry X-Mas!!!
infinity concept, by geneosis.
idea for dark version, from Reiman.
Funny, when a wall bats me a companion right into my face ^-^
how (if interested)
I altered the original & selected "save as" .
then exited & re-entered to see both versions, in the editor.
then published this version.
this kept the original in tact.
yes, I noticed the laser only hits the outer part of 1 of the laser catchers.
it still hits it enough to work.
probably a very small amount off center.
but as I moved the wall the laser catchers are on, as far away from the reflector,
as the editor would allow.
the slight un-alignment is amplified.
Yeah, it looks even better in the dark, thank you :)
I just wonder, where the little misalignment of the moving laser comes from, that I wasn't able to correct - no, I made it worse with every attempt! I mean, that the left receiver is hitten twice, compared to the light version. Can you hear it?
Da-dam-da-dam ... Da-dam ... Da-dam-da-dam ....
