Use that to download the zip file. Then extract the civ5 file and extra it again with zip 7. That should get you the contents. Place all the content within a folder if not already and add it to your MODS folder.

Finfally managed to catch DL - but after that it just disappeared from mod list (never appeared there). Not happened to any other mod (including other FE mods, so maybe the issue is with mod after all? Could there be some sort of conflict with Gimaleal mod?

This one seems to be the hardest mod to get downloaded( Loved it when had it on previous PC several years ago, but now can't get no matter what - tried resubscribe, unfav, refresh - nope, nada. Worked more or less with all other mods, these way of forcing the DL. But not with this one(

yeah so... it wasn't updating for me. I tried deleting all files relating to Grima and reinstalling but now it just isn't installing.

You need to do a manual download if it fails to auto download. Its the fault of Civ V.

It worked! Now... Is she SUPPOSED to never settle additional cities? When I found her she still only had one. And it was after I got astronomy(allows ocean travel).

after you download the mod, it puts an empty folder in your MODS folder. outside of the empty folder (directly in the MODS folder) it puts in a file called "Fire Emblem Grima, The Fell Dragon (v 2).modinfo." just drag that file into the empty grima folder and it should work. oh, and make sure you have the grimleal mod installed too.

So I can't buy the Grimleal units with faith, just with 300 G. whats going on, it says they are only purchaseable thru faith??

Navigate to Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS

You should see the mod in the form a .civ5mod file, if so this means the auto civ 5 method failed to extract. (which it all too often does) In this case, open the .civ5mod file with an archiving program of your choosing (such as winrar or 7zip) and extract the contents to a NEW FOLDER within the MODS folder.

If there is no .civ5mod file, you can manually get it by entering this mod's link at {LINK REMOVED}https://steamworkshopdownloader.io/

Hey, I dunno if anyone else is having this issue, but the mod doesn't seem to want to load in for me? I'm subscribed, and I have the Grimleal mod installed as well, but it doesn't show in my mods list (https://i.imgur.com/qeqCQoO.png) . The only other mods I have installed are InfoAddict and the Grimleal mod (as you can see in the screencap), as well as the Enhanced UI mod, which can't be downloaded through Steam.

I've also encountered a similar issue with the unique unit being available to every civilization. For example, I could play as Russia (a historical empire) producing followers of a fictional religion.

Haven't actually faced this civ down yet in a game(I like to play large games with most of the civs as unknown until I run into them), but the Grimeal unit appears to be 'leaking' to other civs: I could build it as the Inca.

@Lili Literally no one is going to make that. He's not a leader of anything in any sense of the word. I reccomend trying your own hand at modding (you may even enjoy it) because it's not exactly on anyone's to-do list.

Craziest CIv I've ever met in game. Turns hostile as soon as I meet her and denouces me right after that, usuaully declared war by every other civ in-game due to her attitude and gets beaten to a pulp :P

If it doesn't work, you are likely lacking dlc or there's a mod conflict

can I choose Grima as a civ I can play? and if so how, it doesn't show up on civ select screen...

Giga Pheonix The symbol fits both civs perfectly. There's not really another one you'd use for either.

Wait nevermind after checking, same symbol, differnt colors...still a little bit of a problem I think

Wow this looks pretty good and really synergizes with itself, reminds me of Wario with it's UA. However the Temple maybe a little unballenced with both the food and extra faith;A little too much isall. and I think this uses the same colors AND symbol as Validar; Could be a problem for poeple playing a Fire Emblem themed game like I'm thinking.
