Jraven would you mind if I re-release your mods in DE? I figured out how to update the maps as well.

Definitive edition update maybe? Pls?
Vilerian 13 Oct, 2018 @ 1:55pm
I've re-published a modified version of this mod called 'Vilerian's JRavens I Update'. If you object JRavens I'll of course immediately remove it.
Vilerian 13 Oct, 2018 @ 7:32am
I wonder if I'd be allowed to re-publish an altered version of this mod? I'll of course make sure to note that on the re-published version.
crying_orange 2 Oct, 2018 @ 7:09am
Would be great if we could get a Definitive Edition update.
Nicol Bolas 26 Sep, 2018 @ 2:33pm

Bump for this getting redone in DE! JRavens is a great mod that the community still needs!
Ðrim 31 Aug, 2018 @ 3:45am
Please @JRavens can this be updated for the definitive edition?
Ðrim 7 Aug, 2018 @ 8:48pm
I really hope this mod gets an update when the definitive edition drops.. But I doubt it will.
Redbeardflynn 7 Aug, 2018 @ 4:16pm
Anyone know how to fix the maps being covered in darkness beyond the original space ? Assuming this is in the editor or something ?
AlphaWolf420 22 Jul, 2018 @ 3:01pm
Are the maps supposed to be partially covered in darkness? At least a third of the maps are covered by complete darkness and nothing will remove it.
frankie mermaid 23 Jun, 2018 @ 4:59pm
i can't find it in my folder so idk if it has another name
frankie mermaid 23 Jun, 2018 @ 4:52pm
hey what's the mod's original file name
Juls 13 Jun, 2018 @ 12:37pm
is it still working?
Ruby Rose 27 May, 2018 @ 9:22am
Is this mod causing anybody else to get stuck on the "loading character creation" part when trying to load a GM campaign?
Alucard Jaeger 25 Apr, 2018 @ 12:36pm
Why is it that the actual mod doesnt appear in the mod folders. I only see the second jmravens mod but not the first in the folder. Is this a bug or is it meant to happen.
Rhime 15 Apr, 2018 @ 8:02am
Has this mod been working well for GM's or should we not use it in current GM campaigns? Will it break stuff?
Heinz234 18 Mar, 2018 @ 7:03am
Please fix your mod overwriting standard assets in the game so this will no longer break other mods and other peoples hard work.
Ðrim 9 Jan, 2018 @ 1:37am
Will you come back to the game for more updates on your mod?
Ðrim 1 Dec, 2017 @ 3:18pm
How's your job searching? Miss your updates:)
Andronius 22 Nov, 2017 @ 9:29pm
Hi @JRavens, how's it going? just dropping by to say hi and wish you Best Luck with the job-hunt. It's now scientifically proven that you respond faster than Larian customer service, and you do make the efforts we've seen to answer questions, replicate people's problems and crashes to fix them, so I was thinking like... man, Larian should be actually PAYING you! Really, since they don't bother to add these features themselves, why not hire you to do it? They are now a successful studio, but it seems like the GM Mode is not something they feel needs to be improved at all, which is a pity (and the reason my vote went to others for the Game Awards). After all, MANY people have only bought DOS2 strictly for the GM mode. If one day Larian comes to care about the GM Mode or wants to know how to improve it, all they have to do is hire you! Really, great job.
Ðrim 17 Nov, 2017 @ 10:39am
My bad they are called "Rock Piles" not Rubble Rocks ^^
Ðrim 17 Nov, 2017 @ 5:27am
I've noticed that some objects are hovering over the ground. For example the Rubble Rocks and other rocks are not connecting with the ground like they used to do. Also the "Tent Wall" seems to be messed up, one of the poles looks to be upside down making it stand above the ground. Lastly one of the "Broken Crates" are seems to be unable to be edited or moved once placed. :)
UltraViolence 14 Nov, 2017 @ 8:40am
I'd really like to make my own scenes, can you point me to tutorials or pm me Jravens?
Ðrim 10 Nov, 2017 @ 9:06am
Ah fair point, Good luck with the hunt :) Forgot about the job situation.
JRavens  [author] 10 Nov, 2017 @ 7:22am
Sorry I haven't had much opportunity to work on the mod. I've been job hunting as my savings are starting to dwindle so I need to get back to work ASAP. I'll try to return to the mod as soon as I can carve out some free time (and don't feel so guilty about modding or gaming instead of job hunting :P)
Ðrim 9 Nov, 2017 @ 4:42am
Any peak on what's to come next? Or have you managed to find all possible objects? :)
JRavens  [author] 6 Nov, 2017 @ 9:18am
UPDATE is finally live (sorry for the delay, not sure why I couldn't publish to Steam before...)

This is the same as the latest version on Nexus (though it will have a different name due to Steam Workshop naming scheme). You should try and make sure you and your players are all either using one version or the other so the names don't throw things off... DOS2 will likely see them as two different mods if they aren't named the same so if using THIS one on Steam Workshop be sure your players are as well. Thanks.
Ðrim 5 Nov, 2017 @ 4:36am
No luck with uploading on Steam still?
JRavens  [author] 1 Nov, 2017 @ 10:23pm
UPDATE -

For some bizarre ass reason I can no longer publish to the Steam workshop. The more I use the Divinity Editor the more frustrated I become >:(

Anyway I uploaded the latest version to Nexus (since I can't publish it here). I'll try again tomorrow after a reboot, etc but you can also obtain the new v0.96 from this link:
https://rd.nexusmods.com/divinityoriginalsin2/mods/217?tab=files

Really not enjoying the way this game has been patched. Humph.

Having said that the latest version addresses crashes when placing FX creatures, collisions on water planes and puts shelves and shelf items together labeling them A, B, C etc.
Ðrim 1 Nov, 2017 @ 1:08pm
Seems Larian's teasing on facebook simply was for some in-character post from Fane during halloween and nothing moore. Thought they were gonna release something for halloween. Tsk tsk.. Any change on the FX items? I haven't run into any issues so far during my edits with the FX I have in use. Do you know which one that might cause crashes?
Ðrim 29 Oct, 2017 @ 11:11am
Alright the Portals and Magic Vortex seems to be working fine.
Ðrim 29 Oct, 2017 @ 10:15am
Damn! I hope my portals are working.. Need to check that tonight!
JRavens  [author] 29 Oct, 2017 @ 8:35am
WARNING - the new patches have changed the way some collisions work (or rather - don't work) and it's making the FX items unstable. I'm working on this, but be aware that some FX items can now cause crashes. Thanks Larian.
JRavens  [author] 29 Oct, 2017 @ 8:33am
@Rekuul - Sorry these are more collision issues. The patch has changed the way some things interact (like the waterplanes) so I am working on solutions.

I will group the shelves and books/bottles together and label them accordingly (A, B, C, etc) so it all makes more sense.

Unfortunately there is no way to export a prefab from the editor to a scenery object. I've explored that option thoroughly. It's a shame because it would open the options for this mod tenfold.

I'll try to have a fix by this evening.
Rekuul 28 Oct, 2017 @ 11:32pm
At the very least a naming convention that helps pair sets of books to the type of shelf they are supposed to work with would go a long way. Right now this its a mix-n-match nightmare.
Rekuul 28 Oct, 2017 @ 11:31pm
I've been trying to use the "Shelf books and bottles" category to put stuff on shelves but its basically impossible to make something look decent. I've tried dozens of combinations and the objects always *badly* clip through whatever shelf they are placed on or end up floating above shelves to a ridiculous degree.

I think it would be better to combine the book objects with the shelves they are intended for then export that object all as one (if this possible). I know this is basically a prefab in tthe editor and I'm not sure if prefabs can be exported as GM placeable objects but in my opinion this category is basically unusable in its current state.
JRavens  [author] 28 Oct, 2017 @ 6:32pm
I've updated the FAQ on the discussions tab. This problem manifests because one or more computers has an old version stored in either MODS, LOCAL MODS or the Steam workshop folder for the mod.

Please follow the steps in the FAQ to properly clean all computers.

Your problem Adam is almost certainly the local mods folders on one of the PCs (Not MODS folder - that is a different folder)
Ðrim 28 Oct, 2017 @ 4:47pm
Just had a session and there were no problems for me or my group.
Star//Lord 28 Oct, 2017 @ 3:53pm
So i just want to see author advice. Cuz this mod is perfect and probably best for GM. :)
Ðrim 28 Oct, 2017 @ 12:13pm
Hm that's strange, I haven't had a live session since the patch so cant confirm it myself. It just sounds like the old issue others and myself had when there were dublicates in the mod folder.
Star//Lord 28 Oct, 2017 @ 12:07pm
Well, i have this and Toolkit 2 from jRaven. Status Effects and etc. No dublicate. I even try to use only this mod. Still happens.
Ðrim 28 Oct, 2017 @ 10:36am
That sounds like the old problem when there's several JRaven files, you sure you only have one JRaven file in your mod folder?
