Your suggestion has finally been included into the mod. Now planets are never reduced in size.

Fix for Ocean Paradise worlds getting downgraded to size 25:

Add planet_size <25 to the 2 places where it checks as shown below.
Do this for event.2 and event.3

random_owned_planet = {
limit = {
AND = {
is_capital = yes
is_artificial = no
planet_size < 25
}

Yep, seems to be working now, thanks for the quick fix :)

I found the issue, it should work now

Ok, have tried desert type with no other mods active, 2 different origins, and both the random and Sol system intitializers. Still is not size 25, just 18-21. In the latest patch they changed the homeworld size to be 'more consistent' or something, so perhaps you need to look at that

As far as I can tell, the update doesnt work. I have made several empires with alpine and continental types, and tried several origins (standard, mechanist, shoulders of giants). The planet size is between 18 and 21, I will do a few more tests

It is compatible with 2.8

I have no idea about the new real space, since i did not play Stellaris this year yet.
TheEventHorizon 13 Mar, 2021 @ 12:05pm
still compatible with the new realspace and or 2.8?

There is a version fully compatible with Real Space now. It is linked in the description.

It seems to work with real space now since your last update :)

I will make a Real Space version of with mod if I get Annatar's permission to use his files
pat2811  [author] 7 Jan, 2019 @ 7:19am
Ideally a version compatible with Real Space would have to be created by modifiyng their files intead of vanilla files. If it is not done then this mod will undo the changes Real Space does in the files mentioned in the description. But it should still work.
New frontiers should not cause any additional issues as it does not touch the initializers.
Cactus Punch 6 Jan, 2019 @ 11:54pm
Is it possible to make this compatible with real space new frontiers?
pat2811  [author] 21 Dec, 2018 @ 9:56am
@Minkel: For me it does. Are you using any other mods?
Kyurama 21 Dec, 2018 @ 7:20am
this does not work on presets empire, including earth and unity
Kasolin 20 Dec, 2018 @ 11:48am
Thanks!
pat2811  [author] 20 Dec, 2018 @ 9:47am
@Kasolin: yes, every Empire that is spawned in the galaxy generation uses one of the modified initializers and therefore has Size 25
Kasolin 20 Dec, 2018 @ 9:25am
So this makes all AI FTL empires have 25 size homeworlds, including custom made AI empires?
scott4dges 7 Dec, 2018 @ 5:41pm
@pat2811 I see now it's updated, thanks!
pat2811  [author] 7 Dec, 2018 @ 2:12am
@ scott4dges it is already updated, check the changelog :)

I notice my Stellaris launcher says this mod is compatible with 2.2 LeGuin. I'm wondering, how does this work now with the new system? I'm about to start a new game, but wanted to check if I should load it or not?
ShadyBhaz 28 Mar, 2018 @ 11:25am
I got this mod working perfectly once. But when I uninstall then reinstall this mod later on, it doesn't affect any of my new game attempts. Any hint?
