Nice, perfect for my second not so serious playthrough.
Arsene Lupin  [author] 12 Sep, 2018 @ 6:35pm
I do not. I can say that Odinblade's Spectre-class mod does not work with this, but neither I nor Odin can figure out why. If you discover an incompatibility, try adjusting load-order, and if it persists, please let me know.

Now that the DC is out, ideally, I'd like to try and put alternate versions of my mods on the Nexus w/ compatibility fixes for any big mods that have issues.
Altaan 12 Sep, 2018 @ 4:38pm
Do you know of any *new* class mods that would work with this?
Arsene Lupin  [author] 2 Sep, 2018 @ 10:29am
Thankfully simple mods like mine should be very easy to update, based on what I've read. Do keep in mind that, as I understand it, I'll have to re-upload the mod because the DC and Vanilla version of DOS2 both share the same Steam listing and workshop.

Looking forward to playing with this mod again, once they get the tools up for you. Thank you so much for updating it when you get the chance, especially considering how many other good mods will be left to rot.
Lore Pastor 1 Sep, 2018 @ 2:24pm
Awesome! I’m stoked!
Novus1994 31 Aug, 2018 @ 3:23pm
Hell yeah.
Arsene Lupin  [author] 31 Aug, 2018 @ 2:28pm
Larian said "next week," on their forum, so hopefully it won't be more than a few days.
Novus1994 31 Aug, 2018 @ 1:27pm
Rough ETA? No rush or anything just pure curiosity.
Arsene Lupin  [author] 30 Aug, 2018 @ 10:04pm
Yeah. It should be fairly easy to do, but I'm waiting for the new version of the Divinity Editor to drop.
Lore Pastor 30 Aug, 2018 @ 7:37pm
Will this be updated for the Def Edition?
Arsene Lupin  [author] 4 Jun, 2018 @ 12:24am
Probably because you've installed a new class preset mod and used that for your PC. These changes only affect the vanilla presets. What you'll need to do is copy down the stat/skill allocation of the modded preset, and simply modify one of the vanilla presets to match it.
бляцкриг 3 Jun, 2018 @ 11:30am
It only worked on my companions :/
♥ Momma Angel ♥ 11 Apr, 2018 @ 11:04am
Okay, thank you for your quick response!
Arsene Lupin  [author] 11 Apr, 2018 @ 10:50am
Nope, not gonna happen. It's just too time-consuming. If you want to use one of my mods w/ a modded class, simply customize one of the existing presets w/ the modded skills. What would take me hours of fiddling to create can be approximated in a minute or two by you. Remember, it's a class-less game, these are all just pre-allocated skill & stat combinations.
♥ Momma Angel ♥ 10 Apr, 2018 @ 4:54pm
Can you make this mod work with the Helaene class mods?
Arsene Lupin  [author] 29 Mar, 2018 @ 6:34pm
Thanks! If you ever want a less OP version, try “A Lucky Break.” It won’t Effect the balance too much.
♥ Momma Angel ♥ 27 Mar, 2018 @ 10:32am
This mod is definitly OP, however, I love it! I play mostly a single player lone wolf (no companions). This mod helps me so much. It removes the disadvantage I have as a single player on Tactician mode. Thank you for creating it!
Arsene Lupin  [author] 23 Mar, 2018 @ 3:53pm
Thanks. But if you'd rather have a tailor-made set of bonuses for your lone wolf run, you can try making your own modified presets. If you look at the Nexus listing for this mod, I've got a set of step-by-step instructions for modifying the presets there.
K.DeWitt 22 Mar, 2018 @ 5:20pm
I think I am going to install this and go for my solo honour mode lone wolf run. I had looked over that One Man Army mod but didn't really feel it and it seemed buggy. I still want to see a trio party mod pop up that gives us a lone wolf type trait that alters stats for three people but this one looks good for the solo run. Makes up for the lost civil points and gives 10 extra combat points which is basically half of what the missing lone wolf partner would have considering at level 21 he would have 23 combat points. So later in the game I could be a little weaker but considering on my last default two man lone wolf run the very late game was when I felt the party was too overpowered that should work out.
noirstream 20 Mar, 2018 @ 5:26pm
i configured it to load last as you recomended, still i can't use other mods preset, anyway i solved it in a tricky way, thanks for the concern anyway
Arsene Lupin  [author] 8 Mar, 2018 @ 5:22pm
lol, no problem. TBH I a bit amused by some of the "problems" people comment because, like... this is a really simple mod that only affects a single set of game files. As for your issue w/ it "not working" (crash? back to normal values?) that might be an issue w/ either another mod (and another set of class preset files) or simply something wonky w/ how the game loads the mod in the first place.
noirstream 6 Mar, 2018 @ 6:40pm
also, awesome mod, i dont like comenting just to complain, this is really usefull, specially if you want to try many builds, and mod skills or stuff ading that many point gives you a lot of freedom to test so 10/10
noirstream 6 Mar, 2018 @ 6:39pm
i know sounds weird but i took the time to see every preset, rigth after pasing sebille it just well stoped working, anyway, i "solved" it by just using the left arrow to change my race
Arsene Lupin  [author] 3 Mar, 2018 @ 12:18am
...That sounds pretty nuts. The class preset files don't make any distinction between genders.
noirstream 2 Mar, 2018 @ 8:48pm
it is working on all my clases, even the moded ones, but, is not working on female presets for some weird reason
Purphuros 25 Feb, 2018 @ 8:47pm
see @MrFoxAos thats whats weird...im pretty sure i had that activated when i did it, but for me it was only the red prince, fane was still my level. randomly on 1 attempt it just worked. havent questioned it just accepted it didnt even change my mods or anything lol
Arsene Lupin  [author] 25 Feb, 2018 @ 2:28pm
Nope. This mod -only- effects starting point pools. Nothing else. If something wonky is happening with your game, something else is causing it.
Purphuros 24 Feb, 2018 @ 4:50pm
is it meant to make all followers level 20?
Arsene Lupin  [author] 17 Dec, 2017 @ 11:59pm
I could, but why? These are just pre-sets. If you don't like the default selected skills/attribute investments, you can always change them to something else. You'll forgive me if I'm not super incilned to make a separate version of this mod just save 10 seconds or so off the character creation time for folks who want to change the preset investments.
Shade 17 Dec, 2017 @ 10:19pm
Its a shame you cant just make a "Basic" Preset that has nothing spent/selected, basic outfit, etc, with all the points unspent/ready to customize to whatever the flip you want.
Makua Joka 13 Dec, 2017 @ 2:04pm
Already tried switching load order, and even deactivating all the other mods in their entirety, though I said that already, like I say, I'll just try removing it entirely and re-subbing, that should hopefully restock the files good and proper :3
Arsene Lupin  [author] 13 Dec, 2017 @ 12:27pm
The way the game works, if multiple mods introduce new presets to override the default ones, it will only use whicheer mod is at the top of the load order. So w/ Free Pet Pal, if it's higher, this mod won't be active; if it's lower, FPP won't be active.

Makua Joka 13 Dec, 2017 @ 11:23am
The only other mod that affected the presets was the Free Pet Pal mod, and for quite some time there was apparently no issue with that, I may just have to go into Div's install folder and completely delete the mod and re sub, see if that works.
Arsene Lupin  [author] 13 Dec, 2017 @ 12:28am
What were the specific mods you were using?

Because this mod *only* effects pre-sets. It doesn't touch anything else, so the only way for it to conflict with another mod is if it, too, alters the presets.
UrbanNoodles 13 Dec, 2017 @ 12:11am
This is the only mod I use that modifies presets.
But as I said its a non-issue since I can just turn them on after creation.
Arsene Lupin  [author] 12 Dec, 2017 @ 10:51pm
Then those mods must modify character creation. As I stated in the description, any other mods that change the presets will be incompatible.
UrbanNoodles 12 Dec, 2017 @ 10:40pm
It was working fine till I installed some new mods last night.
I can confirm this still 100% works, but it HAS to be the only one activated now. About a week ago it would load up with other mods, now it can only load solo. But its w/e. I just load up the others after character creation.
Arsene Lupin  [author] 11 Dec, 2017 @ 11:51am
I don't know what to tell you. It still works with the latest patch and subsequent hotfix, so the problem must be on your end. I would assume it's something really simple--like maybe you deactivated the mod, or have another mod active that conflicts. I'd recommend verifying the install and then double-checking for the above.
Makua Joka 9 Dec, 2017 @ 6:32am
I'm aware, a few friends and myself had been using it for a while but without any indication as to why it's just stopped functioning, we've tried unsubbing and resubbing to the mod, and even tried deactivating absolutely everything else apart from it, still no joy.
Arsene Lupin  [author] 6 Dec, 2017 @ 11:59am
Hm... I tested it w/ the last build and it was still working normally. I'm currently downloading the latest patch (patch 5?) and will test it again.

Keep in mind this mod only affects presets, so it will only make changes to the character creation process.
Makua Joka 5 Dec, 2017 @ 5:22am
Tried deactivating any potentially incompatible mods, this mod still isn't working even when it's the only mod active on the list, perhaps it's having issues with recennt patches?
Arsene Lupin  [author] 23 Nov, 2017 @ 5:11am
@Northfire: I can’t check the compatibility til Friday, but odds are it still works and you’ve just got a conflicting mod active.

@Dave: Yes. The first part is easy, but getting rid of the point gains at level up would be more difficult. It’s not something I have much interest in making.

@Fluffy: Now that some time has passed, and there are several popular class mods, I’ll look into making LB/AB versions of the most popular ones. I may or may not host them at the Workshop, but keep an eye out for ‘em sometime this weekend.
-= Dc_Dave =- 23 Nov, 2017 @ 1:23am
Hello. Would it be possible to have a mod That grants enough Civic Skill points to max everything at 5 and removes the per level gain ?
NorthFire 20 Nov, 2017 @ 2:13pm
its not working for me anymore for some reason after i made a new character
The Fluffy Overlord 2 Nov, 2017 @ 6:56pm
I am sad that the mod does not work on the Druid mod :steamsad:
Arsene Lupin  [author] 2 Nov, 2017 @ 5:10pm
Haven't had time to dig into that yet. Sorry. Maybe this weekend.
ShadowDragon8685 2 Nov, 2017 @ 4:53pm
@Arsene-Lupin: Did you make any progress in making hired mercenaries Auspicious too?
Grumpbear 2 Nov, 2017 @ 4:52pm
I'm an f***ing idiot. I didn't even see that mod bar on the game's main screen. Thank you Arsene-Lupin!
Arsene Lupin  [author] 2 Nov, 2017 @ 4:26pm
Subscribe to the mod, then activate it in the game's mod menu, then start a new game. If it's not working for you, you're either forgetting to activate it, or you've got another mod active that *also* adjusts the class presets.
