AML shows this mod to have conflicts with LWOTC now. Not sure what those conflicts are, and it used to work fine for me with LWOTC.

It seems that contrary to what is stated by the author, this mod does actually have a class override conflict with the "Long War of the Chosen [Experimental]" (LWotC) mod for the class "UIInventory_LootRecovered". I am not sure how this potentially affects a LWotC run but I have chosen to disable this mod.

Has anyone found a way to apply psi-PCS to custom class? I searched all the ini, but didn't find any lines in the mod that would determine which PSC is applicable to which class.

"PCS's are no longer dropped as loot"

Did a bit of testing and from what I can tell the above means that all hacking rewards that normally give a PCS are also disabled even though the option still exists. So if you hack a tower and it says the reward is a superior pcs and your hack is successful, you just get nothing. Same goes for skullmining where a reward can be a PCS unless it actually uses the word "extract".

Also some of the advent have the new extract PCS options while others don't, for instance priests do not but troopers, stun lancers, and shieldbearers do.

You can still buy a PCS from the black market if you see one offered there. Not sure about the covert op that can give a PCS as a reward, I usually don't consider those worth doing.

i play LWotc with mod jam ,and it seems i dont get the bonus dmg against specified enemys written in pcs

Super old thread but somehow I missed WOTC all together and started playing it. Thanks for porting Grimy;s stuff in.. But PCS are like hens teeth.. I see a mention you can edit the INI to get them to drop again but I can not find which INI or where.. I did some experimenting but nothing ever dropped. Any guidance for the ignorant appreciated

I noticed that Attachments to Swords changes the name of the "slash" skill to something else...

Try deleting your config folder. PCS definitions are stored in there and if they've been changed somehow, they won't be changed back until those definitions are entirely missing from the config. (They'll be replaced by the values from the default vanilla config located in the game installation folder)

I got a weird issue, every single PCS in the game gives only +1 Boost to the corresponding stat, and rarity adds damage againts certain ennemies instead of adding to the stat itself.

I've removed every mod from a clean playthrough except Grimy'sLoot and this ( Config too ) and it still happens. Any ideas ?

anyone know where is problem, when i try to skulmine, in the screen to choose, i got nothing in the place of easy/hard choice. only blank space and feedback damage after i click hack to get out of that screen

@Esg when you use RPGO and a psi mod then the game blocks the psi PCS all the time, so fare none have found a way around it.

I'm interested in the Hacking PCS aspect of this mod, but I don't want to overhaul my game with Grimy's Loot Mod. Is it possible to implement the PCS without adding the extensive overhauls Mr. Grimy's mod brings to one's game?

Opening lockboxes is a question for the main mod, and is solved by reading its description.

This mod won’t need to be updated for TLP. The main mod might need it, but im not going to update that version, I’m going to upload a different version that requires the highlander. The current version breaks some mods that will be coming out soon, and that cannot be fixed without making it rely on the highlander. I’m not going to hust update the existing mod because some people hate the highlander and refuse to use it.

Hmm, I'll need to look into the PCS from covert actions. Those likely pull from the PCS loot tables that this mod removes in order to keep PCS out of the black market

I've incorporated the "Missing WotC Advent" lines from the one Popular Discussions thread and it seems to work flawlessly now, at least getting the PCS rewards correctly.

Me neither, that's why I assumed it's to do with the mod, not saying it is.

I've started multiple campaigns, resubbed, cleared config folder, tried changing the mod loading order and troubleshoot with different mods. Nothing works for me. Saying that, I don't get the rewards was not entirely true, I only get the rewards selectively, 9/10 times I get intel rewards.

I'm just reading that you're supposed to get multiple PCS slots, I also only have one.

And I'm sure this is unrelated, but I also don't seem to get PCS for the Covert Action completion of building one. Just felt like mentioning this, since we're on the topic.

If another mod overrides the changes this one makes to the skullmining rewards, then you'll stop getting them as skullmining rewards. I don't know of any other mods that do this.

Try unsubscribing and resubscribing to the mod. I just checked, and the uploaded version has the correct XComGameCore.ini file that will set up the skullmining rewards properly. If that doesn't work, you've got a mod conflict.

It should work on all enemy types that are jackable, but if another mod overwrites my changes then they’ll be incompatible. I’ll look into it when I get the chance, cuz the purifier should be changed. I use ABA and B.B. doesn’t change the purifier so neither should matter

Hey Ginger, I started a new campaign a few days ago and just fininshed the skullmining project. It doesn't really seem to work though, at least not on every Advent type. The skullmining itself works, but some enemies still give intel/facility leads, e.g. the purifier. I'm using ABA and the Biotroops mod. Maybe that has something to do with it? Or is there still a chance for the standard rewards and I just misinterpreted the mod description?

Alright, I’ll take a look into the inequippable PCS.

The mod I was talking about actually changed in scope. We decided not to use the skulljack for it. I’ll see if I can make a quick mod later that decreases base chance to 60% then increases it by 1/3 of the wielder’s aim, or something.

I use this mod [WotC] Richards Classes (3 Perks per level) [WiP] for this I do not have vanila clases. Because of what I can not use PCS Hacking and Psionic they have a red color in inventory and are not selected in equipment.
I think this PCS is eating in clases... Tell me, how can I fix this? thanks for the help

Basically what happens is that any time a unit starts an action, it runs a bunch of calculations. One of those is the ToHit calculation. For each attack type, there’s a certain number of ToHit calculations that are assigned to it, and then adds all those results to the final number, which is the chance to hit that you see on the screen. Skulljacks have only the base calculation, which is “+70%.” In order to change that, you have to add another calculation to the soldier that says “when attacking with the skulljack, run this ToHit calculation” so that calculation gets run as well. To make that change, you need UnrealScript code, because there’s no configurable variable set aside already in the base game UnrealScript for that purpose.

At least, not to my knowledge there’s not. Unless XComGame.X2AbilityToHitCalc_Skulljack exists and has an editable to hit value. In which case you could just change that.
