It should also provide science, considering it IS a radar dish,so maybe +10 or + 5 science?

Much (all?) SETI@home, a radio SETI project, data come from a piggy-back antenna at Arecibo Observatory. Einstein@home, a successful radio astronomy pulsar search, also uses data from Arecibo (as well as other sites). It's hard to imagine that Elliot Mayo programmed the original Arecibo antenna motion software, based on a DEC 10, fifty years ago!

Durning the last week the Arecibo Radiotelescope served 50 years of hardwork and discoveries.
Pouakai  [author] 11 Aug, 2013 @ 11:27pm
Nah, the telescope itself is the Arecibo Telescope
Freeasabird🕊 11 Aug, 2013 @ 11:01pm
Isn't that the SETI program?
Pouakai  [author] 22 Jul, 2013 @ 10:44pm
Should be, haven't heard that it's not
SilverHead 22 Jul, 2013 @ 6:24pm
Is this compatible with BNW?
Pouakai  [author] 20 Jul, 2013 @ 12:02pm
Absolutely - it's in the Arecibo_Buildings.xml file, and I think you'd need to use the Building_YieldModifiers table - look at the factory entry in the base game files for how they do it with production. That's if you're wanting a percentage (eg. +20% science in this city), but if you're wanting a static yield change (eg. +10 science) then it's just the same as the culture boost in the file
