Hi there,

Stellaris got a lot of changes since my last update. Because of this i have to do an complete rework. I am a family father of two lovley childs and deputy director of a mid size company. Therefor it will take time until i finish my vision of this mod.
I will release in small pieces so you dont have to wait until all is finsihed.

I hope my new version will find a good balancing.

In my new mod most of the old features will stil exist and improved.

There will be again 5 bulding tiers instead 3, some will only has 1, 2 or 3 tiers.
There will be ethos unique buildings and techs (i will use Ethos Unique Techs and Buildings again and adjust stats when needed and maybe add more tiers)
There will be improved planetary Battles. Different Defence and Assault armies and if possible other gameplay mechanics.
New Local Strategic Ressources. I will increase from 2 new to 7 for the start.
mineral, food, alloy, physics, engineering, trade value and unity.
Improved galaxy generation. There will be types with a smaller empty core. More possibiles in the future

I would love to add galaxy wonders as a new feature.
I would love to add something so some cost wont get 0 but this will depend if i find a performant way.

AI improvedment will be removed for the moment.
I will reconsider the other game changes.

Yeah thats true ... but for this mod the biggest changes was when they reworked the planets and 3.0

As i mentioned earlier i would love to get a new version of this mod.
Therefor i started today to rework. I finished all my game studies and got an better idea how this mod would look like in the future.

There will be more news next week ;)

Hi there, I hope to be able to finish soon a first version.
My researces are finished, but i had a lot of work to do for my start-up.
My idea for the first version is to add ethic related buildings and the mineral and food depot with buildings.

Woah woah woah dude. The original creator of this mod made a damb good mod. he then shared with the lazies of the community. you and me so we can use it FOR FREE and not have to put in any effort. I like to see quick updates too. but give the man some slack. he has a life yo. Cool to see someone willing to help out though. Props to garvin. Thanks my dude for making a fire mod.

@Pordy: I will contact you tomorrow. The Image of the mod is a litle bit confusing, need to update it. With 2.0 i currently removed the spaceport moduls because there are starbases now. But i really wonder that there are no buildings for you. I checked it with running only Novus Orbis and it worked fine. But i wil talk to you tomorrow. There will be soon an update which will be an improvment in compatibility. The pity is that i have not much time for this at the moment, because I am working as a co-founder in a start-up :D.

There are buildings that never appear because thier technology requirements doesnt even exist. There arent any spaceport modules, or buildings.
Full of errors and bugs.
You should use a [BETA] tag.

Am I supposed to be able to produce the empire capital buildings on every planet? Every colony in my empire is letting me upgrade all the way up to the empire capital-superplex. I'm also running into the same issue as syncopation where it won't let me build alien zoos on xeno pet deposits.

@Phoenic Nebula, if you use the no traditions version of CO, and use the no CO version of To s of Traditions, that should solve your problem.

Took me forever to reply back. Any way the reason I wa sasking was because I play with the Tons Of traditions mod which requires the Cultural overhal (With traditions) mod. I cant upgeabe my buildings anyfurther becasue of the compatability issues. I was wondering if you were planning on solving thouse problems. From what i can see you are and I look forward to it.

why do you allow MI to research tech_novus_food_processing_1 and build building_novus_food_processing_plant_1? normally MI can't build any food, except for servitors who can only build nutrient paste facilities. at first I thought that you accidentally forgot the potential = {} clause to remove MI, but then I saw with the building you've considered MI and allow them to build it without any issue

Hello garvnis. I have just started playing with Novus Orbis, and it seems great. I did run into a strange hiccup though.

On a tile with Alien Pets, the Alien Zoo is not available to build (even though Xeno Food Processing is). See: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1366049934

As much as I like new foods, occasionaly I would like to keep some :)

@Alg3braic: Yeah at the moment it isn't compatible. Maybe after my rework of the t4+t5 capitals it will be much easier to build a comp patch.
