Looking at it, yeah.
I don't ever delete my mods, but that mod looks to be the better choice as it has a beta style hud and allows much further customization.

Whenever I am attempting to enable the HUD in console commands, it doesn't do anything. It just repeats the command once. Any possible way to fix this?

Do you understand how RGB works? You set hl2b_hud_red and hl2b_hud_green both to 0 aswell as setting hl2b_hud_blue to 255.
